Diving
Venturing far into enemy territory
Diving is a MOBA gaming term used in League of Legends (LOL) and Defense of the Ancients (DOTA) that refers to when a player ventures far into enemy territory. There are several types of diving in DOTA, including tower diving and fountain diving.
Diving is a high risk/high reward maneuver. It is high risk because it involves going deep into enemy territory where the likelihood of dying increases. But it is high reward because it can give you a significant edge over an opponent when killing them.
"The game turned when he went tower diving to finish off the hero."

NYP
Not your problem
In text and chat messages, NYP often stands for "not your problem." This acronym's typically used while discussing a problem that's not yours to fix. For example, if your brother is having money troubles, and you offer to give him a loan, he may respond with "No, it's NYP. DWAI, I'll be fine."
In some situations, people may use NYP while accusing you of avoiding responsibility for a problem that is yours to fix. For example, if your S/O tells you there's no food at home, and you reply with "NMP, I'm leaving tomorrow," your S/O may respond with "How dare you think it's NYP! It was your week to buy groceries!"
"My school project is NYP ... I'll just pull an all-nighter; no worries."

Diva
A self-important, demanding person
Originally, the term diva was used only to describe glamorous, talented female singers. However, because some of those singers are considered incredibly demanding, diva can now be used to refer to any demanding person (typically, a woman).
What is the origin of diva?
Diva is the Latin word for goddess. As opera grew popular in Italy, successful female stars were labeled divas, to note their larger-than-life style and presence.
In the modern age, diva crossed the divide between opera and pop music. Talented female singers who exude stage presence and personality are often labeled divas. In many cases, people admire these sorts of divas.
However, because some divas are temperamental and hard to please, diva gained a secondary meaning. Now, volatile and/or whiny people of all stripes may also be labeled divas.
"Stop being such a diva and get over yourself!"

Griefer
An irritating player
In multiplayer video games, a griefer is a player whose primary objective is not to win, but to harass other players. Griefers go out of their way to troll their teammates and/or their opponents, by purposefully performing antagonistic behaviors.
Some examples of griefing include:
Playing incredibly slowly to waste other players' time
Purposefully killing teammates with friendly fire
Stealing other players' items or kills
Destroying other players' creations in sandbox games (like Minecraft)
Sharing teammates' positions with opponents
Often, griefing involves using a game element or mechanic in an abusive or unintended way. For example, in a game in which players can message their teammates, griefers may spam distasteful messages, turning a normally-helpful feature into an annoyance.
"What a griefer, the admin needs to block this DA!"

rnt
Aren't
Rnt is a faster way of writing "aren't," which is short for "are not." People commonly use the abbreviation in texts and online when messaging.
As more people used mobile phones and the Internet in the late-1990s and early-2000s, they began shortening words to type quicker. They often remove vowels to create the abbreviations, which is the case with rnt.
Examples of when you would use it include "rnt u joining the video call?" or "Y rnt u going 2 the movie with us?" Other common Internet and text abbreviations include r, u, y, and 2mrw.
"Rnt u coming 2 the game 2nite?"

RT
Retweet
RT is an abbreviation used on Twitter when re-posting another user's tweet. It contains the user ID (prefaced by the "@" symbol) of the person that originally tweeted the topic as well as the topic itself.
Retweets are an easy way to spread a message because when you a RT a tweet it is posted to all your followers, which can then continue the RT to their followers. This is especially helpful for news stories to get the word out quickly about a current situation. However, it also makes it easy for inaccurate information to spread, which can lead to confusion.
"RT @userid Fun things to do on vacation!"

TC
That's cool
People typically use "TC" when texting or messaging online about the coolness of something, like a new computer or how a friend got an "A" on their test. It is not to be confused as "Take Care."
TC is one of those messaging acronyms that are obscure and used mainly by texting fanatics. These users find it helpful to save time and character space in a message.
Most people use it as a one-word response to something they find neat, but others may include it as part of a sentence. If you use it as a one-word response, remember that the recipient might read it as "take care" and think you are ending the conversation.
"TC that you guys are still friends after so many years."

What is a hot air balloon?
A hot air balloon is an aircraft comprised of a giant bag, more commonly referred to as a balloon, a heater, and a basket. The heater heats the air in the bag, causing the bag to rise. The bag then drags the heater, the basket, and the basket's occupants into the air. Overall, a HAB is a pretty neat way to travel.
