oh? how’s he dealing with lavender’s death. i wish i could say he’s not, he doesn’t want to believe it. he really wants to to believe it’s a nightmare. unfortunately, he can’t wake up from this nightmare. of course he’s devastated, you think he drinks now? he’s only going to be smelling of whiskey, his cologne will be a memory at that point. if he sleeps, he’ll only wake up from nightmares and then shower and stay up all night because why go back to sleep? he loves her, he’s always going to love her. he loved her when they were eighteen and he loves her at thirty-one and beyond. ( you know, unless he dies real soon lol ) he visits her grave everyday, even when he knows he should be running far away because only cas is ahead of him now and it’s kind of making him spiral. he really wishes they could’ve ended up together, he always thought they would. he’s sorry that he was such a shit to justin but honestly? it was more than jealously to him. he knew justin made her happy and probably stress free and that’s not what he gave her after they broke up. he gave her stress and sadness. and he just wished they had more time together between the thirteen years. maybe they’ll meet again in the afterlife.

cassie does not handle lavenders death well at all. she's already A Mess from eastons death, and its only made worse when lavender dies. they may not have been the bestest of friends but between cheerleading and the list lavender meant a lot to cassie and i think she always looked up to lav, and something about losing someone she looked up to on top of everything else really set cassie up to have a lot less fight in her when she realised it meant she was next

They were never super close, but they had similar minds when it came to their past loves. They were hopeless romantics and kindred souls. They drank together not too long ago, Lav reminding him how stupid he was for what he did. He had needed to hear that. Because of Lavender he pushed himself to give everything to Hannah and he'll forever be grateful for that. He'll miss Lav, but now he knows he needs to help Liam. He needs to make sure Liam doesn't drink himself stupid. He'll take care of Liam for her.
