Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, alpha Lucerys, Omega Aemond, Lucerys' chest have grown)
Aemond was the lady of Driftmark, and as the lady of Driftmark, he needed to ensure that everything goes swimmingly, from the interior of their home looking glorious to whoever decides to grace their halls with their presence, to the necessary parties hosted, he had to plan and make the necessary arrangements for everything, and he would not allow anything wrong to embarrass him.
Unfortunately for him, there are just times when the world seems to go against him. For instance, right now. He has been standing close to Lucerys, glancing at his chest, where the button was holding on for dear life.
It was a mistake on his part. He didn't realize Lucerys' training would be so.... bountiful so soon. After all, Aemond has been training with him, and his body remains to be lithe, to his displeasure. They only realized the mistake once Lucerys started to dress up, and what he was wearing was the only one that fitted alright, it's only problem being that the button keeping Lucerys' chest from being exposed was a breeze away from flinging itself across the room and hitting an unsuspecting lord or lady, and Aemond cannot have that happen. So he made sure to pay extra attention toward it, unaware that to the unknowing, Aemond seemed to be looking at something else entirely...
He could already tell when the thread that held it broke free. He was lucky to manage to catch it, even luckier that it happened whilst no one was looking. In fact, if he wasn't so stressed, he would be wondering why no one was even glancing at either of them, especially since most of the time, the people would flock the two for a small chat.
He was just grateful it gave him time to drag his husband out of the hall, telling the servant that they were to retire early, and to send the rest of the lords away after a few more hours of their enjoyment. Once they reached their quarters, Aemond demanded that he takes off the shirt, which Lucerys obliges easily. Aemond grabs the sewing kit and began trying to fix the problem, ignoring his nephew's stare.
A nosy little servant was passing buy when Aemond made the order, and unfortunately for Aemond, she was a chatty one, too. By the next day, the entire castle seems to have been filled with the gossip of their lady seemingly enjoying his husband's larger chest, said to have been googling at it all night, and all but demanded to be bedded the moment they left the halls.
Aemond would be mortified once he found out about the misunderstanding. Lucerys, however, would simply be amused, and would fan the flames, wearing more "open" shirts during their time they were together training, because apparently, his uncle seems to be more distracted and often loses. It was his lucky shirt.
Aemond smacked him once he found out whatever nonsense Lucerys decided to feed their people.

Fanfic Idea! (Could be lucemond, where Daemon long prepared for the betrayal of the greens and urged his children to make alliances of their own, and Lucerys' anger has reached his endpoint)
Lucerys is pissed. He is angered, he is tired, his sorrow for the loss of his sister and the rage he felt for her undue death was what made him storm through the Baratheon home. He already knew his uncle was there. He saw the decaying dragon before he even got to land.
He knew him being there wouldn't do anything. His grandmother already told him how different Borros was to his father, but he had to at least pretend to try, for his mother. So there he was, dripping wet from the storm, hate and anger in his eyes, but a smooth, calm face, as to not give the people more reasons to look down on him. He deigned to smile at the girls, they were his kin, after all, and someone who he had been sending letters to ever since they all met, a secret from Borros, lest he tries to force one of his girls to marry him. They, in turn, smiled back.
He didn't bother looking at his uncle Aemond, barely acknowledged his jibe. He knew being ignored would piss him off more than any answer he would ever give, and that was more than enough of an incentive to pretend he was nothing more than passing wind from the storm, loud enough to howl, but something easily ignorable. He simply came to deliver the letter. He already knows that man wouldn't budge, had already planned to marry one of his girls to Aemond, or whoever the greens were willing to sacrifice. To him, Borros was already a traitor and an oathbreaker, and him being there was just a farce.
When the obvious refusal from Borros came, coupled with a few insults that made Lucerys momentarily enjoy a vision of just ordering Arrax to enter the hall and fry him before his courtiers, he nodded, and told him he would take his message to the queen, before turning around, his head held high. He nodded once more to the girls, and they knew. It was time to accelerate the plan. Borros is to die as soon as Aemond leaves. He will drink his ale, swallow his meat. The story would be that he saw the ghost of his father, angered by Borros for making him, making his house, bear the name oathbreaker, before forcefully taking his son's soul, leaving behind his frightened body as a warning. That way, it would be seen as a horrible omen, Aemond would only find out once he reached King's Landing, and would be too late to return.
In reality, Floris is to drop a special little medicine in her father's drink, one made by Alys, that causes people to have frightful illusions based on things they have been thinking about. Eventually, they becomes so stressed from fright, they started trying to get away from whatever apparitions their mind created, and finally, die from their heart giving out. He has already made sure the main thing on that man's mind would be his father's vow to his mother, from the letter. If things go as planned, (and he ensured it will, seeing as he gave a stronger mix to Floris) the eldest, Cassandra, is to be the new lady Baratheon in his place, and he knows she would support them. The greens would call them traitors, oathbreakers, but then again, Cassandra can claim she was undoing her father's oathbreaking by following her grandfather's vows, so his soul can rest at last. They can call for foul play, but could they when the man dies right in front of all his men, loyal or otherwise, watching him run from someone who isn't there, watching him scream for his father to not hurt him, before succumbing to his death, as if Lord Boremund snatched his soul from his body to ensure he never breaks another oath?
He wonders if any powerful house would try to side with the greens with the threat of their previous heads coming to haunt them to their death for oathbreaking. He thinks not, as the people of Westeros seems to hold great importance to the words of those long dead. If they do, well.... he has already made quite a lot of connections. It wouldn't be hard to ensure someone's predecessor would visit them to give a "stern warning".
Before he could leave the place and lead poor, wet Arrax out of the Storms, Aemond decided to order him to wait, to claim an apparent "debt". Lucerys was just going to ignore him, but his anger filled him. They were already stealing his mother's throne, and their own inheritances, simply because their mother wasn't a man. They have already taken their mother's chance to say goodbye to their grandfather, not even allowing her to burn his pyre. They have already killed his sister, who they didn't even allow to breathe. If there was anyone here that had the right to demand for someone to pay a debt, it was him, his family. Not Aemond.
And he will get revenge. Just not now. But he will not allow Aemond the chance to call him a coward. Instead of facing Aemond, he looked back to the soon-to-be-deceased Lord Borros.
"My Lord, I know it isn't my place to tell you how to run your house, but I do strongly suggest you close your windows and doors."
There was confusion in the crowd, even Aemond looked momentarily confused at his statement.
"The howling of this storm is quite strange. The wind just now sounded like it was trying to say something."
With the people realizing what he was implying, and his uncle's face going red, (with embarrasement or anger, who knows, who even cares?) he walked away calmly as the guards prevented Aemond from chasing him, his screams for his eye ignored once more. Lucerys, after all, has more pressing matters to attend. He is to fly to a cave one of the girls secretly found. There he would wait out the storm, wait out the shocking death of Borros, before "flying back" to Storm's End due to a "premonition" of sorts, and return home with the the Baratheon alliance in his pocket.

Plotholes? Yes. Why? Because tired, can't think much, school sucking the life out of me.

Fanfic Idea! (Can be pre-Lucemond, Get in the Water)
Vaemond called them bastards, and Lucerys lost his calm. Before Vaemond can say anything else, before Daemon does something, he said that they should test that theory.
All were confused, and Lucerys ordered everyone to go to the King's Landing docks. Confused, intrigued, the people followed, wanting to see what this so-called "test" would be. once they reached the place, Lucerys got in the water, which made many look disgusted. The dock water was where may threw away their "night soils", their kitchen remnants, some even pissed and vomited there more than once. Everyone knows the water was not clean at all, yet Lucerys went in.
Then he said, rather clearly, that if the Drowned Gods truly saw him as the bastard, unfit for Driftmark, then let the tides drown him. Vaemond scoffed, saying he was merely finding reasons to stop the just trial he called for, that he was just making up excuses. Even some of Lucerys' supporters saw his actions as questionable.
Vaemond was about to order everyone back to the throne room, where he could further mock Lucerys for believing the gods would ever focus their interest in human trials.
Then it happened.
The water Lucerys was in, rose, before gently placing him on the dock, completely dry, before returning to the rest of the ocean. Whispers emerged, fear, intrigue, shock.
Then Lucerys said it was his turn, and told Vaemond to get in the water. Vaemond was flustered, red faced and angry and confused, asking what trickery Lucerys was playing at. Lucerys simply told him that the gods chose to let him out. He risked his life and the gods allowed him to keep it. Now it was Vaemond's turn.
Unless, Vaemond was afraid? Was his uncle scared that he wasn't truly the rightful heir? Was it all just bravado? Or does he dare think his words are more important than the decisions of their Drowned Gods? Lucerys' mockery was loud and clear.
Vaemond huffed, trying to redirect the crowd to return to the throne room, but before he could, Viserys commanded him to get in the water. His grandson risked his life, placing it in the hands of the gods, now it was his turn.
The crowd stared at him, and he could not run, lest he be called a coward. He thought it was merely a trick of sorts, and got in the water, confident that he would be fine.
Instead, the moment he entered the water, he felt the pull. The water rose, dragging, pulling him downwards. He was a strong swimmer, and struggled hard, but when you fight with the water, it was impossible to win. The water kept surrounding him, his face covered, not allowing him to breath. The water seemed to wrap around his legs, stopping him from kicking and keeping himself afloat. He felt the force pulling him deeper down, and with a final shout that couldn't be heard, he was gone, the bubbles stopped, and even after a few minutes, he never resurfaced.
Lucerys turned to smile at the crowd, who all stepped back.
The Drowned Gods have chosen. And it was not Vaemond.
Lucerys asked the crowd if there was anyone else that questioned his right as heir? If so, they should get in the water, and let the Drowned Gods decide once more.
Those close to the docks back away, fearing they might accidentally fall in. Otto and Alicent were in a state of shock. Aegon seemed to have gotten sober, and Helaena looked at Lucerys, smiling to herself as if they have a secret only they know.
Aemond kept staring at the waters, were Vaemond once was. When he glanced at Lucerys, it seemed he had a lot of questions in his mind.
Lucerys took no notice. Smiling gently, he said that since no one wished to challenge his right, then they should return to the palace. The crowd complied easily, not wishing to be anywhere near the waters.

Fanfic Idea! (Lucemond, Love stage au, where Aemond thought Lucerys was a girl)
Aemond kept wincing as Aegon kept drunkenly groaning and complaining. Honestly, Aemond was the only one that had the right to complain that day, but since his mother asked him to be good, he kept his mouth shut.
His family was big in the entertainment industry, with Aemond's father being a descendant of the creator of Targaryen dynasty, an entertainment company (with a lot of scandals) and being a past actor himself, now retired, though still working as CEO, and his mother, Alicent, being one of his father's scandals (found sleeping and eventually marrying his assistant's 19 year old daughter just months after his first wife has died) and a model. He knows he shouldn't know that, but it was hard not to seeing as his sister was a frank person, and his brother, a teen actor, kept using that as an excuse to make trouble with anyone, and embarrassing their parents (mostly his mother) in the process as they (mostly his mother) and their grandfather try to cover it up, it was kind of hard not to know.
Now, his brother had caused multiple problems and almost-scandals these past few years, but this time, Aemond was forced to help fix it. Aegon was meant to shoot a commercial for a large wedding business, "Seven Faiths" which just so happened to be owned by his grand uncle's business friends. When his dad heard of this, he proposed a collaboration with another wedding business franchise called "Fourteen Flames", ignoring the fact that they weren't exactly in good terms, as the owner, Daemon Targaryen, his uncle, has shown great dislike towards the Seven Faiths and their owners. His father put his foot down, however, and after he spoke to both his uncle and grand-uncle, a reluctant truce was made, and despite his mother's obvious dislike, a few things were changed, such as having the outfits having a more Valyrian style, having it be a garden wedding (Seven Faiths wanted a church wedding, Fourteen Flames wanted a ritual, so they had to find a middle ground) and Rhaenyra, his half-sister (and someone he has never met before in his life) as the bride instead of his mother, and Daemon being the groom instead of Viserys.
It was an obvious choice, seeing as his half-sister was given the moniker "the Realm's Delight", and her and Daemon's story has been widely told, and was more accepted than his parents' own tale. The only good thing that happened (at least according to his mother), was that the commercial would have both Aegon and Helaena as the children who catches the bouquet.
He knows little about Rhaenyra and her relationship with their father and his mother. All he knows is that his dad kept trying to get her to visit him, and that his mother really, really didn't like her, and the sentiment was apparently the same with Rhaenyra. The fact that his brother told him (in one of his drunken drawls) that there were rumors of their mother and father having an affair whilst his first wife was pregnant made it a bit clearer as to why he never really sees her at all.
Everything was going to go fine with the commercial, everything was prepared and they were on schedule. But then Aegon struck. He managed to smuggle alcohol in the set, got drunk, tried to harass a make-up artist and got punched in the face, leaving an obvious black eye that couldn't be covered up. After his mother talked to the make-up artist (ie bribed and threaten her), she had to do some damage control, and decided that this would be Aemond's debut. Thankfully, there was a smaller suit in hand (his mother clearly prepared for Aegon fucking up again) and Rhaenyra and her people weren't there yet, so they had time to fix Aemond up.
So there he was, dressed up in a small black suit, feeling hot and uncomfortable over, forced to listen to Aegon's complaints as they waited for Rhaenyra and Daemon, when their trailer opened, and a frazzled assistant asked if they saw Helaena. When it was clear they hadn't, she cursed before leaving, and their mother came, telling her boys to look for her.
And look they did, only to find out she followed a spider and was on a tree, scratches on her hands and dirt under her manicured nails, the dress ruined. That wasn't all. Apparently, her cheek was bleeding, and she wouldn't let anyone put make-up on it. And that was when Rhaenyra came.
As they panicked on who they know that could replace Helaena, Rhaenyra stepped up and told them he knows someone that would fit perfectly. So, despite his mother's clear reluctance, they prepared whoever Rhaenyra was talking about, while Aemond just continued to sit around doing nothing.
Then it was time.
The commercial was simple, the wedded couple (Daemon and Rhaenyra) would be seen in the pagoda with their "I do's", they walk out to flower petals and rice being thrown at them, goes to the carriage, the bride throws the bouquet as they leave, and two kids (Aegon Aemond and Helaena mystery girl) catches it. Really simple, no lines for Aemond to say.
When they reached their designated spot, he saw her. The girl that took Helaena's place. She was quite young, smaller than him. She had long brown hair that Aemond later found out was a wig, but what really interested him was his eyes, doe brown eyes with purple at the top. Most likely a cousin, maybe even his half-sister's daughter. He's not entirely sure, he doesn't keep tabs with that side of the family too much. The new dress fits her well, though she kept fidgeting and grasping the skirt part, which might leave creases. Not wanting to have his mother worrying about something again, he went to her, gently prying her hands from the dress, and told her that it was fine to be nervous, as long as they did their best.
That seems to calm the kid, at least. She took a deep breath, and nodded, mumbling a thank you. She then reached into the dress pocket and offered what looked like candy to him. He accepted. It was lemon candy, sweet and a bit sour.
Then the filming. It was good so far. Rhaenyra and Daemon were quite lovey dovey in their scene. Aemond was just happy to have this over with so he can go home. Then their scene happened. And he managed to trip and fall, the bouquet still in his hand.
And it was beyond embarrassing. He has never made such a mistake in his life, and in front of so many people. Then he heard Aegon laughing, and he couldn't bear it. He got up, threw the bouquet and ran.
Interestingly enough, the first person that followed him was not his mom, but the girl that replaced Helaena. She began patting his head, saying it was fine, and that they can do their best the next scene. He didn't feel like she was mocking him. She gave him more lemon candy, and he took it, feeling a bit embarrassed now that he thought about his outburst earlier. He thanked her, and she just smiled a cute smile, which made Aemond a bit red. They just sat there as he took deep breaths to calm himself. Then they walked back in the set hand and hand, and the director was kind enough, telling him that mistakes happened, and that they can do better in the next shoot.
And so they did. And it came out perfect, at least, that was what the director said. They were still holding hands when Rhaenyra called the girl over, calling her Lucy.
They said their goodbyes, and he was sad to see the girl go. He can admit to himself that he got a bit of a crush on her. When they got home, he went to his room and searched for her.
And what a slap on the face that search was. Instead of the cute girl he was with, what popped up were the images of a boy. A boy with brown hair and brown eyes with a bit of purple on top. Lucerys Velaryon, Rhaenyra's son. And his face reddened a bit, because despite the shocking truth that she was a he, it didn't stop his heart from beating a little faster when thinking about him.

So I watched Love Stage again, and this is the result. What you think?馃憖馃憖

Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, modern-ish, where Lucerys deals with one problem after another)
Lucerys knows he had made a mistake, choosing to be mates with Alyn. Everyone in his family, even Alyn's full brother Addam, asked him to choose someone else, anyone else. And Lucerys was adamant, choosing Alyn. To be fair to him, he wasn't really in a good emotional state to decide what was best for himself.
His grand mother, Rhaenys was murdered. When his step-father and mother tried to find out who murdered her, they too, were found dead, with Aegon III witnessing it all, and was in a state of shock. The money that was meant to be their mother's, along with her company, was instead given to their uncle, Aegon II, because apparently, their grandfather changed the will as he was about to die. They tried to contest it, but it was soon clear that the judge was bribed, leaving them without the inheritance. Then Vaemond, their grand uncle decided to take over their grandfather's business, and they were powerless to stop it.
Jace did multiple jobs, mostly physical labor, but was then found heavily wounded, his back bleeding so horrendously, and he was never able to walk again. Corlys' sickness got worse, eventually putting him in a coma, and the medicine prices skyrocketed, and Lucerys, Lucerys had to bear it all. He needed to find multiple jobs to feed everyone, he barely slept, and still had to worry about his youngest brothers.
Rhaena and Baela were eventually taken in by one of his mother's kin, much to Lucerys' happiness and jealousy. Eventually, Joffrey was taken in by them, too, lightening up the weight on Lucerys' shoulders. He wouldn't dare ask for more, lest they might revoke his siblings' chances of a better life. When Baela and Rhaena tried to give him money, he told them to keep it, just in case something were to happen to them and Joffrey. They do still send some of their allowances, and though it was never going to be enough, Lucerys was still thankful.
Eventually, Viserys II was also taken in by one of Daemon's friends in Pentos, and though Lucerys refused to give him up, the man eventually wore him down, pointing out that he would be able to give Viserys II a better life than Lucerys could. When asked if he could also adopt Aegon III, the man refused, saying he can only take in one, and he wanted "the less crazy one".
Despite the responsibility decreasing, at least financially, it didn't mean everything would be ok. The machines and medicine keeping Corlys alive needed restocking and maintenance, and he and Jace needed someone to watch over them while he was working, lest something does happen to them while he was gone. Aegon III had to be sent to a special school, and would sometimes throw fits, would get panic attacks and anxiety attacks, and Lucerys would be called by the school. There was also the fear in his heart. The people who killed his family was still out there, and if they do want to kill them, too, it would be incredibly easy, and it scares him. His life from the end of his eighteenth birthday to that of his mid-twenties, was a constant cycle of fear, abuse from his job, constant tiredness and stress and irritation, and, at times, wishing to end his suffering by dying, and feeling guilty for ever thinking of abandoning them.
Then, out of the blue, the Hull brothers, Addam and Alyn, came into his life. They told him they were Corlys' sons, a DNA test proved it to be true. They told him they wanted to help what was left of their family, as their mother died weeks prior. And Lucerys felt like this was they were the light at the end of the dark tunnel. They helped him with the payments for Corlys, even helping out Jace and Aegon III, he was finally able to breath after so long.
Then Cregan, an old friend of Jace showed up, and it became incredibly obvious he was there for Jace, a solid rock for him to lean on, and Lucerys felt relief that his brother has someone like him. Then he felt a pinch of jealousy, wanting something like that. And so, he tried finding one, and it led to Alyn.
He and Alyn we're almost always together, with Addam taking care of Corlys and on his boat. Alyn was there to comfort him when he cries, make crude jokes that made him laugh, and made him feel like he was floating after years of feeling like he was drowning.
When he asked if Alyn wanted to be mates with him, he agreed. It caused problems with Jace, who Lucerys felt was still treating him like a child, with Baela and Rhaena, who were introduced to them earlier, despite them not knowing him fully, even Addam questioned if this was truly the man he wanted.
And Lucerys got sick of it. He got sick of the questions, got sick of being treated like a kid when he was the one that made sure everyone survived, got so tired of everyone undermining him. Wasn't he the one that helped the family? Didn't he sacrifice enough? What more do these people want from him?
So he and Alyn eloped. Lucerys didn't feel guilty anymore. He only took a bit of money, and left a note promising he'd give more in the future. Addam and Cregan took care of everyone left in their home, and Aegon III was slowly getting better. He deserves to be happy, too.
And happy he was, for a few months, he and Alyn lived blissfully, despite living in a small apartment, they were happy. Then Alyn got hooked into gambling, and Lucerys found out the money that was meant to be sent to Jace and Corlys and Aegon III were being used to gamble instead. Arguments ensued, fights, Lucerys found out Alyn brought other people home, and eventually, Alyn left Lucerys crying.
He hadn't heard from him in weeks, and Lucerys didn't want to go back and face everyone else after he was proven to be wrong. He knows they would comfort him, knows Addam would curse at his brother and Jace would just hug him and treat him well, but he didn't want to go. He had a bit of pride left in him.
So he didn't tell his family, and he's sure Alyn wouldn't tell Addam anything. He made sure to send the money himself, and called Cregan to make sure it reached them. He had a relatively calmer life.
Then the debtors showed up. Apparently, Alyn owed too much and ran, leaving Lucerys with a huge pile of debt that kept increasing. Lucerys felt like he was being dragged by the current of the ocean again.
The amount kept rising, and he was back to working multiple jobs just to pay what he could. Eventually, one of the debtors suggested he work in the red district, and though Lucerys was incredibly resistant to it, he eventually accepted, because the pay was higher than most of his jobs combined. His only condition was that he would only need to dance. No bedroom services. The debtor snickered and just mockingly agreed.
Lucerys started working there at night. Thankfully, he was a dancer before everything happened, and his body still remembered what his mind couldn't. With the help of Alys, the owner and one of the oldest dancers, he was able to gain enough to pay for the debt.
And that was his new schedule. In the morning, he works a bit more, sleeps for five hours, before getting ready to dance. It was already proving to be fruitful, he got a pay raise and everything. What he liked about it the most, however, was how when he was on the stage, he can ignore everything. He would just need to focus on the music. The tips were increasing, too, which he liked. He even got to send a bit more to the others.
And his life finally stabilized, if he can ignore the weekly debtors entering his home. Then one night, he saw them. His uncle Aegon II and Aemond. He chose to ignore them, to just dance and leave early for the night. But before he could even reach the dressing room, he was called to give a private dance in their vip rooms.
He knew he would see them, and he had to swallow his already bruised up pride to face them. Aegon's face lit up and laughed, clearly recognizing him. Aemond just started at him, hands in fists. Lucerys headed to the pole, but Aegon stopped him, insisting that he do a lapdance for his poor brother Aemond. Aegon even promised to pay him triple if he could get Saint Aemond hard, and that was all the initiative Lucerys needed. He gave his one rule, Aemond wasn't allowed to touch him at all.
It took less than a few seconds, he didn't even technically start. He just sat on his lap and grinded on him once, before feeling little Aemond hardening up. It wasn't just a semi, either. It was a full on hard on. Aegon was like a drunken hyena, and Aemond just looked embarrassed, so despite already ensuring he has the triple pay, Lucerys gave him his lapdance, desperately hoping Aemond doesn't actually explode before he was done.
As soon as Aegon handed him the cash, he left. He had hoped that would be the only time he would see them, but they seem to decide he was their favorite, because they just kept returning every single time he was on stage. Aegon kept paying for Aemond's lapdance, even paying ten times as much, and soon Lucerys just saw it as taking back their mother's inheritance (ignoring the fact he had to pay most of it to his debtors). Aegon kept adding stranger tasks, telling him to pour champagne all over himself, made Lucerys just sit on Aemond's lap all naked, made Lucerys take Aemond's shirt of and wear it instead.
Eventually Aegon got bored and stopped coming, and Lucerys thought that would be the end of it, but Aemond just kept returning. Soon, Aemond just told him he wanted Lucerys to sleep with him, offering to pay him any amount. That made Lucerys pause. He could ask him to pay the entire debt. He could be free from that amount at least. So he tested the waters, doubling the remaining debt. He was shocked when Aemond agreed without hesitation.
So Lucerys slept with him. It was...enjoyable for both of them. The money sent to him was even three times what they initially agreed on. He paid Alyn's debts, and when he heard Corlys was waking up, he rushed home to find him and Addam talking.
He was embraced by all, Aegon III was especially happy to see him return, though it took a lot for him to say anything to Lucerys the first few days since his return. He told them what happened, his life with Alyn, his life without him, opting out on his night job and the debt he just managed to pay, and they, in turn told him about what was going on with them.
Jace managed to find a better job, Cregan managed to get his company back from his uncle, and Aegon III was able to speak a few words unprompted. Addam never heard from Alyn after their break up, and it scares him, but he's sure Alyn would show up sooner or later, and when he does, Addam promises to beat him up for what he did.
Lucerys finally felt like things would get better for them. Then Aemond came to their door with a ring in one hand and a divorce paper signed by Alyn, and his life became a roller coaster once more.
------------
Fun fact: This idea came when I was reading a manga titled "Kozure Omega to Boukun Yakuza", I was going to make Aemond the debt collector and give Lucerys a kid, but I changed it馃槄 I don't know, as I was writing, stuff changed and the outcome is now much different. Enjoy for now!

Fanfic Idea! (Could be Lucemond, if you squint, where instead of dragons, they are made to be avatars)
Aemond making a contract with Vhagar, the god of war, just after the funeral of Laena, has caused the family rift to grow ever larger.
In Old Valyria, there are steps when it came to becoming the next avatar of whatever spirit or god of the deceased, the immediate family is given first priority above all, they were supposed to have time to mourn, at least fourteen days before a contract would be formed, but of course, Aemond disregarded that, the same way Alicent and her father disregarded the mourning period of the queen before entering the king's chambers.
As soon as night fell, he went to the Pit, the ancient grounds where Valyrians could form a contract with their gods and spirits, and offered himself up as an avatar. Unlike in his birth, where none showed any interest in him, leaving him screaming his lungs out as his father looked on unhappily, this time, a figure of Vhagar showed himself.
He was in the state of disarray, needing a vessel, any vessel, and Aemond was the only vessel in sight. At least, that was the explanation of Daemon, who's anger rised as his daughters felt like they lost their mother all over again.
During the argument, Lucerys has slashed the eye of Aemond, and claimed it was Arrax who sought it fit, a punishment to both the avatar and the god who did not follow the rules of the exchange. Of course, Alicent calls it all lies, claiming that Lucerys attacked Aemond simply because of jealousy that a powerful god has chosen him as a vessel. Rhaenyra immediately called her unfit to talk, as she is not a Valyrian, she knows nothing of their ways, nor what she speaks of.
A fight in the pit, each Valyrian glowing as their contracted gods and spirits were sensing a fight to start, bestowing them a miniscule of their powers to aid them.
When Alicent said she wished to claim the eye of Lucerys, her son screamed, and looking at him, the injury glowed. Lucerys' own eyes glowed, and he repeated his words. The punishment was just, both refused to wait, both decided to forego the rites of Laena's immediate family, and so, both were punished, an example given.
Alicent, enraged, pulled ser Criston's knife in sn attempt to do bring justice into her own hands, only to be stopped by Rhaenyra. She was wounded by the knife, and her golden blood dripped from it.
The families, though split years ago, has officially separated after that night.
They were reunited a few years later, though not in a happier tone, as Vaemond decided to make an appeal, to remove Lucerys as heir, to the dissaproval of many.
After his beheading, they were all to meet again, greeting each other through kissing their cheeks, though Aemond seemed to have lingered quite a bit when it came to Lucerys, his eye glowing as Vhagar forced himself to look at Arrax's avatar once more.
His contract with Vhagar was not an easy one. Due to the punishment, they could not fully bind themselves together, often fighting for control, causing Aemond to have immense headaches. Though he was given Vhagar's strength and knowledge in combat, he was also given Vhagar's rather unruly personality, quick to anger, quick to fight. They could understand themselves well enough, but their emotions do trigger the other much more than it should. Vhagar has been behaving well enough, however, after the trial. Perhaps the presence of the avatar of the god who punished him was keeping him at bay, as Aemond noticed Vhagar's interest in him.
It did not last long, sadly, as Lucerys' laughter grated Aemond's ears, and his self control was taken over by Vhagar's anger. A not-so-hidden insult in a toast, and the fight began again.
Then the king died, and the war started, and Vhagar, chased Arrax in the sky. Lucerys' near death severed Arrax's only way to the world, and though Lucerys was brought back to life, he could no longer feel Arrax, the connection between them broken beyond repair. For the first time since his birth, Lucerys was alone, his soul, his body feeling completely empty, and incomplete.
Aemond doesn't understand what Vhagar was feeling, his emotions jumbling up with Aemond's so much he didn't understand if they were his or Vhagar's. He feels sadness, he feels pain, he feels shock, he feels delight, he feels remorse, he feels many things, but most of all, he feels hollow, as he watched Lucerys cry out to Arrax, a connection he could never truly understand.
With this, Vhagar has completely acted differently, he was subdued, in a way. Though his strength and knowledge in combat is still shared, he has not tried to take over Aemond again.
Aemond feels he is mourning, though for who, he doesn't really know, nor does he understand. He does notice Vhagar's interest in Lucerys has increased, with every time he goes to him, Vhagar makes himself known, looking at him, as if he was looking for something within him, perhaps he wished to see if Arrax has returned?
He doesn't, and as Daemon meet him in the sky, the spirit of the Blood Wyrm encircling him, giving him the strength for one last shot, Vhagar seemed to accept his end, rather than fight it, something that is so against everything he has shown himself to be. As he prepared himself for his end, he could feel Vhagar's relief, as Daemon plunged his sword to his other eye, he felt Vhagar leaving him to go who knows where.

Hi guys, no fanfic ideas right now馃槄 stuff still brewing in the head.
I don't normally do this, but I don't really get what's going on and this is the only place I could ask. I have a feeling something happened to middle_c, the author of Anywhere He Is, and maybe some other authors (not sure which ones because I haven't checked on them yet) because when I tried searching his username, it doesn't show. I haven't been exactly up to date with the happenings of the lucemond fandom for a while (I needed to limit my time in the internet to focus on my exams. I know there has been a lot of bullying, but I couldn't exactly find out the whole detail, and I'm not entirely sure if middle_c was included), all I know was that middle_c reposted all his fanfics a while back and I was super excited to reread them after the exams, and now I tried searching for his account and it apparently doesn't exist anymore.
So could someone please explain to me what's going on?

Fanfic Idea! (Lucemond, modern-ish au, where the dominoes fall)
Aemond wasn't coming home tonight. Again. Lucerys felt stupid for even thinking Aemond would remember their anniversary. He quietly blew the candles he had lit and re-lit hours ago and placed the food in the fridge. He looked in the mirror, seeing himself dressed up in a beautiful green dress with a surprise lingerie underneath that Aemond would have no doubt loved, wearing the soft make-up Aemond told him he adored. He felt stupid all over again.
So to make the sting hurt less, he opted to open the bottle of the expensive wine they were given on their wedding day. It was strong, a bit sweet with a bitter aftertaste. He ignored the glasses and just chugged a quarter of it down straight from the bottle before stopping, the burning was strong from his throat to his chest. He sat on the floor of their bedroom next to their bed, well, just his bed most of the times. He honestly didn't know what to do anymore.
Like most couples, they weren't immune to fights and disputes and problems, and one of their more recent fights happened when Lucerys asked him to take some time off his busy schedule and be with him, go in their beach house, relax back home in Driftmark. Apparently, that set off a bomb, because Aemond snapped hard and an argument ensued. Yes, Lucerys knows that the project was important to Aemond since it was the first time Viserys ever entrusted anything of that importance to him. Yes, he knows that Aemond needed to prove to his family that he can manage such a project, that they could trust that he do well with the opportunity given to him. Yes, he knows it might be the only chance he gets to have a shot at being given at least a portion of the company. But what about them, their relationship?
They haven't seen each other in weeks, almost a month, Aemond too busy to even return home at times, and Lucerys, also dealing with the affairs of his own company. Both are tired, barely even saying anything to each other, other than a few I love you's, good mornings and goodbyes. Lucerys misses his husband, and thought he needed a break. Apparently, Aemond took it as Lucerys not believing he could do it. Lucerys knows of Aemond's insecurity issues, and did his best to show him that no, he knows Aemond can do it, that he was already doing great so far, it was just that Lucerys wanted both of them to feel relaxed and happy, to have some time for themselves.
Aemond was still frustrated, telling him that he wouldn't get it, that he was given everything in a silver platter and didn't need to fight for what he has. That offended Lucerys, who had to make sure everything was running smoothly because he can't afford a mistake, lest Vaemond uses it as an example of why he didn't deserve the company. Round after round of arguments, silent treatments, and when they finally did talk, they both apologized, the words too heated, both were tired and it was a slip of the tongue, and Aemond did tell him he, too, missed being together, just the two of them enjoying each other's presence, without work in their minds.
So they compromised, and everything seemed to go smoothly. Aemond even got what he wanted, moving up in the company and getting the praise Lucerys knows he deserved. Then he began overworking again, then Lucerys calls him out with the amount of plans he had to cancel because Aemond had work to do, and they argue. Then they apologize, make excuses, fix their schedule, and so on and so forth, the cycle neverending.
And it seemed Aemond decided to break his promise again. Lucerys knows it's not fair of him to think Aemond would drop everything to be with Lucerys all the time, especially since he has a lot to lose, just as Lucerys does, but he was able to do it, to prepare in advance, to finish his work early, to come home and prepare dinner, to dress up nicely and to set the mood for a romantic night. Just to be stood up again.
And honestly, he was getting tired of it. Tired of having to plan for special days only to have to cancel it, tired of feeling excited only to be met with disappointment when met with the usual text (or lack thereof). He was tired of spending too much energy trying to keep their relationship a happy one, only to be met with the "I'm busy's", and the "next time's". Honestly, it was foolish of him to think their anniversary would be different, I mean, he didn't even come to his own private birthday party, and Lucerys had to embarrassingly explain to both their parents and siblings why the birthday celebrant wasn't able to make it to his own birthday party, even after learning how to bake the cake, prepare his favorite meals, and even brought out a couple of movies Aemond enjoyed watching after. He forced himself to enjoy the party, and gave most of what he made to his family, insisting that they won't be able to finish it all anyway. Most of the family seemed to be showing varying degrees of pity, even Alicent, who really disliked their marriage, seemed to hesitate saying anything negative towards him that day.
As Lucerys drank away his blues, he can hear the rustling of keys. He was surprised Aemond even decided to return home. He can hear the door opening, knowing it revealed petals guiding him to their dining table with the unlit candles and the untouched dinner plates. He heard the quiet curse, before the footsteps got louder. Then the door opened, and Lucerys glanced at him, red faced, office clothes a bit untidy, most likely from running, with what looked to be flowers in his hand, and a box of cake he knows would be lemon cake on the other.
If it was the past, Lucerys would just laugh and gladly accept the obviously last minute preparation, now Lucerys just stares at him oddly, before drinking straight from the bottle again. He stood up unsteadily, took the flowers and the cake, and lead them to the sad dining table. Aemond tried to grab the lighter to re-light the candle, but Lucerys just told him it wasn't needed. Lucerys didn't bother getting their dinner out of the fridge, saying they should just skip to dessert. He cut the cake and placed two small pieces on their plates. Aemond tried talking, making excuses, and Lucerys just hummed, not really listening anymore. They soon stayed silent and finished up the cake. Lucerys couldn't even taste it, he just ate mechanically.
Aemond volunteered to clean up, and Lucerys just nodded, the wine making him sleepy. He just went to the bathroom and wiped off the make up, stripped and changed the lingerie to more comfortable sleepwear. By the time Aemond was done, Lucerys was already in bed, looking away from Aemond's side of the bed.
He silently changed and laid down next to him, seemingly hesitated before hugging him. Lucerys does nothing, neither accepting nor rejecting.
When Aemond whispered a "Happy Anniversary", Lucerys quietly allowed tears to fall, letting his tired self succumb to sleep.
--------
Exams were brutal, therefore 'tis time to make it everyone's problem馃槍

Fanfic Idea! (Lucemond, modern-ish, WARNING: Extremely Dark, kidnapped, amputated Lucerys, Kidnapper Aemond obsessed)
Aemond sighs, petting Lucerys' hair as he slowly wakes up. Aemond looked at his angelic face, a sweet one he only gets to see when he was asleep. It has been something of a repeated chore for Aemond. Lucerys wakes up from his drugged sleep on the bed of his special room, tries to escape, only for Aemond to hunt him down and put him back to drugged sleep. It was fun the first few times, allowing Lucerys to believe he had a chance, pretending to forget to lock the door, "accidentally" leaving the key to the chains on the bed. He loved watching the hope in his eyes slowly die whenever he found out that Aemond caught him, again and again and again.
This time, though, Aemond got tired of their cat and mouse chase. Actually, he got scared, but he would never truly admit it to himself. Lucerys was close, so close to escaping, and Aemond was, unfortunately, held up in the hospital when the alarm on his phone rang, and he dashed home, making an excuse of Vhagar (his old dog) managing to get out of the house.
He drove like crazy, and when he reached his secret cabin in the woods, he got lucky, because Lucerys opened the door right at the moment he stood in front of it, quickly shoving a chloroform filled cloth on his mouth and nose. This latest escape was not under his control. That was the fact that pissed Aemond off the most. He could have left, could have escaped and called for help. He would have left Aemond alone again. So Aemond decided enough was enough. If Lucerys wasn't going to stop trying to escape, then he would just have to make sure he wouldn't be able to.
When Lucerys woke up, he kissed his forehead, like he always did after Lucerys' little escape stunts. He greeted him with a "good morning", and he watched as Lucerys' eyes burn. He was pissed, he was scared. He had hope. Too bad, that hope will soon extinguish.
Aemond watched as Lucerys mumbled something about water, and Aemond generously gave him a water bottle with a straw. Lucerys was still groggy from the anesthesia, so Aemond watched, and he waited. Soon, he saw it.
Lucerys was beginning to frown, and wince as he sat up. Then he saw it settle in. The panic. The absolute fear in his eyes. He looked down, and hesitantly pulled the covers off his legs.
He screamed.
His cries weren't melodious, like when they coupled with each other. No. This cry was animalistic. This was terror. When Lucerys began to look green, Aemond gently held his head as he placed a bucket under his mouth, enough to catch the vomit escaping from Lucerys' mouth. Tears fell too, as he touched his legs....
Or at least, what was left of it.
Everything under the knees had to go, Aemond explained calmly, wiping what was left from the vomit from his mouth, assuring him that he would still care for Lucerys, that he still loves him, but he can't trust him anymore.
Lucerys was having none of that. He started hyperventilating, screaming at him, tears and snot running down his face, and Aemond had to embrace him tight to keep him from harming himself even more.
"Why? Why? Why, why, why?!" Lucerys cried, touching his bandaged legs, still not believing, still not accepting that part of himself was missing, that he had been ruined to this extent. He knew it was stupid of him, but he never thought Aemond would ever try to hurt him, even when he was kidnapped. But now, to cut him apart this way....
Aemond would just pet his hair, humming as Lucerys broke down over and over again. Never accepting what had just happened. Could never force himself to face such a reality.
He was amputated. He can't run anymore. He wouldn't be able to escape fast enough. He wouldn't be able to save himself from Aemond. He was trapped. Stuck there. In that tiny room. Only waiting for Aemond. Never getting to leave. Never able to run to safety. Never....never....no possibility of ever leaving the nightmare...
Lucerys lost the fire in him there and then. He went limp, and gods, was it an interesting thing, to watch the once vicious thriving bastard turn into a soulless doll.
Aemond felt a tang of disappointment for once, sad about his action towards Lucerys for the first time. This would be the only thing he would regret ever doing to Lucerys, but it didn't matter in the end. He would rather a doll than no Lucerys at all. So they sat there in the small room, as Lucerys loses his mind and will silently, and Aemond held him closely, content that Lucerys allowed him to hold him without a fight for the first time.
------------
I warned you it was dark and gruesome.
Wow, I am not taking it as slow as I thought.
So, what do you guys think?

Fanfic Idea! (Lucemond, Viking Aemond, seer's apprentice Lucerys)
Lucerys does not enjoy being the chief's wife's apprentice. True, his abilities as a seer have been much more well maintained, but he'd rather be with the woman who raised him, Alys, than the woman currently speaking riddles before him, Helaena.
It's not that he doesn't like her, oh no, in fact, he enjoys her company, and though her manner of speaking is odder than the seers he has met before, he does still understand her, and learns well enough from her.
What he doesn't enjoy is being around the rest of her family. Besides her twins, and the newborn baby, the rest of her family are indescribably hard to get along with. Her mother, Alicent, for one, wasn't born a Viking, a person of Valyria. She is an Andal woman, brought to the village as a peace offering of sorts, in the form of a bride. Just like all Andals, she is a devout follower of the Faith of the Seven, a new religion that does not hide their distaste for the old gods, including the Fourteen Flames, who seers worship in order to attain the glimpse of the future.
She often makes disparaging comments, sometimes in the form of a "normal" chat, sometimes just calling them "wrong" and "straying from the true gods", often times she doesn't bother hiding her distaste. Lucerys later learned that she was much more harsher towards him because he was said to be a bastard, someone followers of the Seven look down upon even worse than old god worshippers. She tries to keep her grandchildren in her room whenever she got the chance to, away from him and her daughter, even bringing her septas into the village to watch over her grandchildren, in an attempt to "save" them from the "madness" of their mother. Lucerys tends to avoid her at all costs, not wanting to have an argument over beliefs, despite the fact the Fourteen Flames actually answers his prayers from time to time in the form of signs, visions and dreams, whilst her gods just stay silent and watch, despite her praying almost every day.
Then there was Helaena's husband brother, Aegon, the new chief. He was much of a drunkard, a pervert as well, often scaring away the maidens and frightening the septas. He often interrupts their lessons by barging in drunkenly, draping himself onto his wife before shouting. His drunken self is easy to anger, so Lucerys had to calmly call the guards so they may deal with him and put him to bed. Lucerys hates this "visits", especially since it often leaves his lessons short, as she would often breathe too quickly, before saying a barrage of nonsensical words, covering her ears or hugging her body, which he needed to calm down before she faints. If he couldn't do it, then he would hope that Aemond, her brother, returned home so he may calm her.
Aemond seems to be the more decent of her brothers, willing to stay with her and calm her down. He is also the one who Lucerys has the least problems with, seeing as his job was to lead the army to raid other villages, and often times he would bring back certain trinkets or bugs for Helaena and her children. Often Lucerys could see why rumors of Aemond being the true father of Helaena's children could be spread, with how often he visits them, unlike Aegon who sometimes was too drunk to even remember his name, let alone his children's. He knows, however, that it wasn't true. He has been there long enough to know that Helaena had no interest in anyone, and Aemond respects her enough to never force her into doing anything.
He sometimes brought things for him as well. Pretty pearls from a fishing village seems to be his favorite thing to give him, and he has quite the collection, with some having so many different colors. Lucerys enjoys looking at them, experimenting on them when he had time to.
Then there was Daeron, their mother's golden boy. He was training to become a Septon, sent to the Sept in Old Town at a very young age, their mother's hometown, so he would grow to be a "better man than the rest of the family", something Alicent loves saying whenever she spoke of Daeron. When he does visit, he looked extremely uncomfortable, and Alicent would look extremely embarrassed at the state of her house, often calling the village a backward place, and that although she couldn't give him the same level of comfort he is used to, she wished he would visit often so she may not feel alone (despite her three other children and grandchildren living with her).
She has tried sending her grandchildren away to the Sept in the same manner, but was stopped by Aemond. Lucerys didn't know exactly what was spoken between the two, all he knows was that whatever good Aemond and Alicent's relationship had broke, with Alicent refusing to acknowledge her once favorite son.
Other than the family debacle and Lucerys trying to further his training without being forced to deal with their family's problems, Lucerys was mostly fine.
Lucerys was treated fairly well by the villagers, though him being there in the first place was worrying. Often times there would only be one seer, and in that village, Helaena was theirs. He was called when Helaena was pregnant with her third child Maelor, and the healers were talking about her possibility of dying in child birth. He was to learn everything from her in case she does pass, and was meant to be the next seer after her. Thankfully, she survived, and decided she wanted him there a bit longer, so she continued training him, and his knowledge grew from her assistance.
He does have a certain problem, however. Aemond, the one that causes him the least amount of headache due to him often being away, asked Helaena to allow him to take Lucerys in one of their raids. Of course, it was a very strange request, seers are meant to stay in the village, safe, far from possible harm. They are few in numbers, and keeping them alive has always been a priority in the eyes of their people, so asking him to accompany them in a raid, a danger for an unarmed, untrained-for-battle man like he was, isn't this just asking for trouble?
Unfortunately for him, Helaena seems to be fine with her student/would-be replacement traveling with her brother's raid party. In fact, she seemed almost pleased with it. Lucerys couldn't really refuse, since he was more of an extra mouth to feed in the village anyway. Besides, if they truly needed a seer's ability for a certain raid, then it must really be an important one. So he goes, unwillingly (though not showing it), and followed the man and his party.
It irked him, how the man was becoming increasingly annoying as the days go by. How he was asked (ordered) to sleep in the same tent as Aemond after the realization that he forgot to pack up a tent of his own (to be fair, he was forced to speed up his packing process, and only managed to take his tools for seeing, before getting dragged out of the house by one of Aemond's men). Or how he had to ride on the same horse as him (he wasn't that bad of a rider, Arrax just tended to be a bit prone to being skittish around other larger horses, and much harder to calm, that was all. He didn't need to sit in front of him on Vhagar, the old girl may have been a war horse but she looked old enough to keel over any minute now). There was even the time where he was forced to learn how to properly defend himself, with Aemond pinning him to the ground every single time, complaining about his weak muscles and small stature (he was a seer! Not a squire, nor a warrior-in-training, but a seer of the future! He was supposed to be staying in the village!)
He can't wait for the raid to be over so he could return to the village. Hells, there were times he just wanted to take Arrax and ride him back to Alys and never have to deal with Aemond or his family (except for Helaena and her children) again!

Fanfic Idea! (Pre-Lucemond or not, where Viserys still have ears)
Viserys have ears, and though rotted, almost falling in the way they hang, his ears work well and he has put them to good use. Ever since the incident in Driftmark, he has noticed things. The way his sons called his grandchildren bastards without fear, noticing his wife trying to get him to change the subject, noticing how pained his daughter was, and saw as his queen was willing to carve out his grandson's eye. Ever since his daughter decided that Dragonstone would be a safer place than their home in King's Landing, he decided to sit back, and truly listen to the people around him.
Whether they were speaking to him or not, or whether they think he could or couldn't hear their words, he listens to them all. He listens to the council members often led by Otto, slyly or outrightly urging him to make Aegon heir. He listens to the servants, who thinks he cannot hear their words, believing he was still asleep, or too far to hear them, whispering about Aegon's drunken antics and Alicent's visits to certain servants working close to Aegon. He listens to how his wife bemoans how Rhaenyra would leave him alone in his time of need, while never really talking of ways to get her to return home. He listens to how nobles spoke about her daughter and her children, how some would hesitate when they call her children Velaryons.
The more he listens, the more aware he became, and the clearer he began to see the world he was in, moreso than he had all these years.
He noticed his once Valyrian home turning into one akin to a Sept, so much so that no one can call his home the Red Keep anymore. He watched as his tapestries of dragons and ancestors turn to symbols of the Seven. He noticed how he was sometimes not even aware that a Council meeting has been summoned, his wife and Hand taking charge with the claim that he ordered the meeting to take place, but was tired to attend.
He is worried now. He is becoming increasingly paranoid with the things he hears, the things he sees. He sends letter after letter, urging her to return home. She does not listen. He doesn't tell her what was happening to their home, thinking that they might be reading the letters he tries to send before deciding to send it or not.
When he heard that Vaemond wished to claim the throne of Driftmark, he secretly thanked him, for he knows his daughter will return, a threat to her son's claim is a threat to her and her whole family, and she would guard them fiercely.
With great difficulty, he walked to his throne room, seeing Otto sitting on it. Years ago, it would not have mattered to him, but now, his eyes are open, and the thought of Otto sitting on his chair made him grimace. It took him rotting away day by day, an eye no longer working, for him to see what was right in front of him from the start.
When he sat on the throne, he sees the great divide. His daughter and her family, and his second wife, his father and their children. It was time. It had been time years ago.
He first settles Vaemond's argument, and it ends with his death by Daemon's hand. Again, he grimaced. Many thinks it is from pain, but it is from the fact he couldn't give his daughter a better time to announce her being queen. He knows he might die any moment now, and he will worry about certain things later on. As of now, he gathers what little strength he has to silence the crowd.
He called for his daughter. He made her climb the steps of the throne, as she had done as a child long ago. With each step she took, his strength grew, his image of her, young and childish, slowly turned into what she is now, an adult, a woman grown. He told her to look around, and in front of everyone, he spoke to her, loud enough that all may hear.
"Look at this crowd. Look at these people. This will be the sight that greets you every time you sit on this throne."
The crowds, which whispered in fear at the sudden death of Vaemond, all stayed quiet at those words.
Otto tries to speak, but Viserys raised his hand to silence him. He now addresses the crowd gathered below, the ones who came to witness a claimant trial, now watching as the old king spoke to them for the last time.
"I am old. I lose consciousness at times. My body is not what it used to be, and I know that I can no longer lead you as a true king should."
"My king-" Alicent tried to interject. She sees it, she knows what is to happen. The rest of the crowd does too. They held their breath as Viserys raised her hand to silence her again.
"Right here, while my mind isn't addled with milk of poppy and my words are heard, I tell you this. I, your king, have decided to abdicate my throne, and pass it on to my only heir, my daughter, Rhaenyra Targaryen." He turned to her. "Do you accept your duty? Do you accept the weight of the crown on your head and the weight of Westeros on your shoulders?"
Shouts are heard, whispers intensifies, but Viserys remain deaf to them, his eyes solely on Rhaenyra. At a moment, she looked scared, shocked. But then her faced morphed, calmer, much more confident and ready than the scared little girl that she was when he visited her earlier.
"I accept it." She spoke.
"My king!" Alicent sounded much more panicked now, and her father was asking him to stop and talk to the council first. He ignores them again.
"Then, it is settled. You, my daughter, my heir, will be crowned tomorrow at dawn."
He looked at Daemon, who, for the first time in his life, looked surprised. He smiled inwardly. This was the first time he has ever surprised Daemon.
He stood, and held out his hand. His daughter took it, and helped him walk out of the throne room, away from the crowds. For the first time in his life, the weight of the crown, the weight on his shoulders was gone.

Prompt Idea! (Lucemond or not, where Rhaenys has dark hair, and comforts little Luke((and a bit of Luke misunderstanding))
A lot has happened in a span of days. Her daughter died, leaving behind her granddaughters, scared and alone. Then at the day of her funeral, her dragon was stolen, by her cousin's second family, and now, her son burned, so much so he was unrecognizable. She has grieved, her heart shattered multiple times, but she needed to pick up the pieces. She cannot afford to falter. She needed to watch over the family left behind. Her granddaughters needed guidance, and her grandsons are still reeling from the shock, her own husband seemed to have aged years in mere days, and she knows she too, must be quite the sight, eyes still red, but she gathered herself.
She first visited her granddaughters, whose tears could fill rivers. Their mother's dragon was taken, their closest connection to her, gone, stolen. She needed to console them as they felt they have lost their mother twice over.
Then she went to check up on her grandsons. Jacaerys was nowhere to be found, but Lucerys was there, sniffling in a secret corner, hand tightly holding the seahorse.
When he saw her, it seemed to make it worse, as he began crying louder, despite his attempts to silent himself by covering his own mouth. She sighed, kneeling, gathering him in her arms, and holding him, allowing him to cry as long as he could.
When his cries turned to sniffles, she gently petted his hair. When he spoke, his question angered her. He asked if he was allowed to cry for Laenor. When she told him that of course he could. He was their father, a good man, it would be stranger if they wouldn't cry for him. Then he whispered, what if I'm not his son? Could I still mourn for him?
Rhaenys frowned at this. She asked where he heard of such accusations. She wasn't surprise to hear that the brat who stole her daughter's dragon was the same one who dared spout nonsense. She refuted it vehemently. He is the son of Laenor, her son's son, her sweet grandchild. There was no doubt of it.
Then he started spouting more nonsense. His hair, his eyes, his nose, not a single one seemed to be from Laenor. She knew his doubts were strong, so she changed tactic.
She lifted a piece of her hair, and a piece of his, inspected it thoroughly. Then she gave a small smile. She told him that their hair seems to be of the same hue, of the same color. She told him that it must be that her Baratheon blood was stronger than his Targaryen and Velaryon blood, to be able to produce such beautiful dark hair three times. As for the eyes and nose, she inspected him, and she looked at her worriedly. She then nodded, as if affirming something.
She told him that she would know his eyes and nose anywhere. It seems it wasn't just her blood that was stronger than those from Valyria. She told him that he had he bore the resemblance of his other grandmother, Aemma Arryn. He was a bit skeptical, so she told him, once they enter Dragonstone, to look for her portrait. Even he wouldn't believe how much they look alike.
Though hesitant, he nodded, and all seems fine for now. Then he asked if his uncle truly believed he was a bastard, as he called him. Rhaenys simply told him that they believe that his mother's position blocked their own, and they didn't appreciate that. She told him that sometimes people would do anything, even spread lies about a person, if they're jealous of them.
Then Lucerys, even more hesitantly told her something that made her blood run cold.
"Aemond told me that I would burn just like my father. But father was still alive when he told me that. Then he died, burning...."
Rhaenys was silent, but the implications were clear. Aemond knowing about what has happened before it happened meant that he has overheard it from somewhere, and he was confident enough to threaten her grandson the way he did, meaning he trusted his source. Though they continue to spread lies, she knows that the greens don't even know if their lies are true as long as it was spread. She might still need more clarification, need to make sure her guesses were true, but as of now, she has a new target for her rage.
Hightowers.

Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, where Alicent overused her authority to send Rhaenyra's un-velaryon looking children to the sept)
Luke has lived in the sept all his life. He was told that he was a bastard, and that bastards were sent to the septs in order to apologize to the seven for being created. They were stains needed to be clean, and although this sin would never leave their souls, they would at least be used to work for the gods forever, as either as septon or septa, depending on what they are, and if they truly don't try to change their lustful ways, they would be sent to the silent sisters, or the wall.
Luke flowered into an omega three namedays ago, and was made to train as a septa. Omegas were rare, which meant he must have been a bastard of one of the "nobler" houses, something he just learned recently. He was a special case, because omegas are usually returned to the noble houses they came from, and Luke had hoped he would be returned, his wants for a family strong. He wasn't, however, and was only given certain scented clothes said to be from his family, but nothing more. Soon, even those dwindled, and the scents long gone. He has, however, kept the clothes as a reminder that he has a family somewhere.
Being an only omega has brought certain privileges, being given a room of his own (despite how small it was), and having to worship two specific gods, the Maiden and the Mother, instead of all seven. One who values omegas' chastity, the other who gave the omegas their ability to produced children. What's more is the fact that most of the worshippers of the Maiden and the Mother are often women, betas and omegas, and marked alphas, rarely an unmated alpha that Luke could "seduce", bastard that he was despite his omegan gift.
Luke would pray with them, and they would ask him to pray for them specially. He would agree, doing his best to remember their names, and would pray for them all. One of the most who prays to them came in the form of Queen Consort Alicent, who usually brought along her daughter Helaena, who Luke miraculously befriended (he was the only one who talked to her kindly, and included her in his prayers without being asked). She comes to pray almost every moon, leaving King's Landing in favor of Oldtown, finding comfort in her childhood Sept.
This moon was no different, her entering the prayer hall of the Mother, where Luke was praying in. It was only when he was done praying did he notice a different figure beside her. Instead of soft Helaena, he sees a large man with white hair looking straight at him. The incense burning might have been able to disguise most of their scents, but Luke didn't need scent to know that the man was an alpha.
Though strange, he ignored him. He had been in the sept for years, there have been alphas praying to the Mother, but never an unmarked one. Still, he was sure that, since he was with the queen, he would be respectful. After the prayers, he went to greet the Queen, as he often do. He gave a polite nod to the man beside her, who the Queen introduced to be her son, Aemond.
After a small chat, and learning that Helaena is with child once more, the queen and her son left.
Then a few days later, a letter was sent to the sept, asking Luke to be one of the septas watching over the twins Helaena already had. Though a bit overwhelmed, he along with the others chosen were placed on a boat and sent to King's Landing. Luke was greeted by a sight of a large dragon. Though the others cowered, he did not. He was quite fascinated by the large beast, who flew to who knows where. He thinks he might have caught a glimpse of white hair, but that doesn't really tell him anything of the rider. All Targaryens have white hair, he was taught that in passing.
He slowly became the favorite septa of the twins out of all the others. They shared their mother's oddity, their liking for creeping, crawling little creatures, so while the others could barely keep themselves from running once they see the large spider, or the flying moth, Luke, though a bit hesitant, wasn't as easily scared.
What the twins like the most was him not fearing their dragons. The dragons in turn also don't seem to dislike Luke as much as the others, to his confusion. Mayhaps they are more inclined to omegas?
Other than taking care of the twins, Luke spends time with Helaena, who was getting bigger with each month, her stomach bulging to quite the size, and the kicks looking quite visible at times, which scared and intrigued Luke. The babe aside, Helaena was still quite normal, or about as normal as Helaena could be. Luke enjoyed talking to her, though her words were often confusing, he enjoys the bright look in her eyes when he manages to translate some of her words. She speaks in riddles, can't seem to stop, so it felt very rewarding whenever he managed to guess what she meant.
The there was her brother (the younger one, not the one she's married to), who seemed really close to her with the amount of times he visited only to find both of them talking. When Luke tries to stand and bow, before leaving them to speak, he (prince Aemond) would stop him, saying he would simply wait until their discussions were over, before leaning on the wall, watching them. Luke doesn't really feel comfortable after that, so he would cut their meeting short, despite Helaena showing sadness, and leaving in a haste back to the twin's room.
Usually he would only see prince Aemond during those encounters, but lately, he has been seeing him everywhere. When he takes the children to the garden, he would be there, when he gets called by the Queen, he would just so happened to be there in the same hallway to accompany him, as they were going the same way. When he goes to the library to look for certain books he would read to the twins, he would magically appear at his side, willing to hold them for him. Now he knows this could be all be just a simple coincidence, but even one of the queen's guards told him not to be too close to the prince as it would be a greater sin as a septa.
So he does his best to be with another septa at all times. When he sees him at any time, he would suddenly remember he needed to do something, a snack he wished to make the twins, a book he accidentally left at the library, a certain insect they wished to see, and he would leave the other way, dragging the other septa with him.
This went on for weeks. He was a bit more agitated now, however, because when he opened his drawer next to his bed, he found that the herbs for suppressing heats weren't there. His was quite a special blend, his body being different from a female omega, and would take some time to make. He hesitantly told Helaena, who was most understanding, even giving him her own suppressant, hoping it would at least ease his pain. The Maester says he could make another batch, though it would take a few days to gather the ingredients needed. A few days he didn't have.
So there he was, in his room, sweating profusely, the herbs given long gone. Helaena told him she has sent someone trustworthy to watch over him, and to guard the door to other unmarked alphas from barging into his room. He was immensely thankful, as this heat would be the first one outside the safety of the sept.
When he felt the worse was over, though still groggy, he opened the door for a little while to ask for some food and water. What he got was a slap in the face as a fairly familiar scent wafted through causing his symptoms to return. He quickly slammed the door and groaned, returning to his bed for comfort.
Of course Helaena asked Prince Aemond to watch over his door.

Actual short Prompt (Lucemond or not, where Lucerys suspects)
They all heard it, but only Lucerys seemed to remember it at all. How Aemond screamed about how his father would die burning, how he would die the same way.
Lucerys didn't understand, at first. After all, his father, Laenor, was still alive. Was his uncle hallucinating? Maybe Aegon managed to make him drunk enough to imagine his father's death?
Then his father suddenly died, burned to death. And all of a sudden, it became clear to him. Aemond knew of the assassination plot, and he threatened Lucerys with the same fate.
(or, Lucerys misunderstood Aemond's words, and that sets up a chain reaction.)

Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, where Lucerys had a son before Aemond part 2)
Part 1:
Aemond agreed to marry Lucerys for Jaehaera. His niece has lost her entire family, and she requested, no, she begged not to marry anyone, least of all the child of the man who ordered her twin brother's death. He was thankful that it was the blacks who gave them an alternate way out, even if it meant having to marry a recently widowed omega, heavy with another alpha's child.
When they met again on the day of their wedding, Aemond couldn't recognize him. Gone were the fiery eyes and healthy glow, he looked sick, barely able to stand without assistance. Whether it was because of his pregnancy, or because of his desire to not have the wedding, he didn't know. It was his eyes he couldn't bare to look at. They weren't cold, no, but they lacked the liveliness of a young dragon.
It was a quick wedding, a vow and the bite. Aemond could feel Lucerys freezing up when he felt his fingers tracing Lucerys' old mark, the mark of his long dead husband. Aemond bit his nape a bit harder, a small part of him was satisfied to remove someone else's mark on Lucerys. If he noticed tears on Lucerys's eyes when it was over, he pretended not to see them. There was no celebration held afterwards, just a dinner before being sent to their marital bed.
The marriage was not to be consummated yet, the maesters told them that Lucerys was too far along, it could hurt the child. It was a relief to here that. They didn't talk, they just laid on the same bed, stayed on their side, and slept, ignoring the person right next to them.
This continued on until Lucerys was in labor. Aemond could hear the screams and curses as he waited outside, his hands subconsciously reaching out for his blade. He felt the primal frustration of not being able to stop Lucerys' suffering, but he had no one to take it out on, so he forced himself to calm down.
When he was finally allowed to enter, he saw a sight he didn't even know could exist again, one he didn't even know he could miss, but he did. Lucerys, tired, sweaty, red faced husband of his, was smiling. It was not the perfunctory smile he gave the maids and noblemen alike, nor was it the dead smile he would give Aemond's mother whenever she tries to talk to him, no, this smile was something familiar, but not on Lucerys. This was a smile he saw Rhaenyra make whenever she was with her boys. This was a smile of a mother looking at their child.
The child in question was a boy, and looked like a carbon copy of Lucerys, pale skin, brown hair. He wasn't sure what his eyes would be like, but he has a feeling they would be brown like Lucerys. He felt some sort of comfort with that. He has a feeling the gods blessed that boy knowing that Aemond would hate him if he came out looking like Lucerys' first husband.
Lucerys changed, though Aemond isn't sure if it was for the best or not. He was more alive, more present in a way he wasn't before. He at least would speak to him from time to time, about small, insignificant things at first, before informing him of whatever he found out about his son, who he named Corlys, in honor of Lucerys' grandfather (grandfather in question was very proud of that fact, often parading the boy around, the heir-to-be of the Velaryon House). He would tell him of a new mole he found on Corlys, or the fact that he noticed Corlys would start making a certain whining pitch whenever he was hungry, or the fact that he gurgled at him that one time. Aemond allowed him to ramble, afraid that if he would try to stop him, Lucerys might return to the old shell of a man he was before.
It is a bit frightening, how attached Lucerys was to Corlys. He would be given reports of Lucerys checking up on Corlys once every few minutes, checking his breath, carrying him around. A slight cry and he would call the maesters, afraid that his son was hurt in some way. He was also very anxious if he couldn't see Corlys. Aemond noticed how his eyes would drift over to the doors, waiting to be allowed to leave so he could rush over to Corlys.
And Aemond, Aemond began to fantasize a bit. Would Lucerys continue to act like this with their own children, he wonders? He often imagines Lucerys with children of their own, oh, how alive he would be, how happy. Maybe it would be their chance to fix their own relationship, to heal and to move on from the scars of war.
He waited a few more moons, so Lucerys would enjoy his time with Corlys, much longer than his side of the family would want, their constant urging for him to have an heir was exhausting to deal with. When he asked Lucerys if he was ready to have another child, he hesitated before nodding. Soon, a babe was in his belly, and he gave birth to them. Twins, both boys. They were named Baelon and Aemon.
Aemond expected to open the doors to see the same sight, Lucerys smiling down at their sons, looking more alive than ever. Instead he was greeted by Lucerys' dead eyes staring at them, no smile, no look of love. It was the same look he had when they got married. And Aemond's fantasies of them ever having a happy marriage shattered then and there.
Aemond made sure to watch over the twins, to ask the maids to report everything Lucerys does when he is with the children. So far, he has acted like a mother should, he breastfeeds them, he takes them with him on walks, he reads to them as he does with Corlys. Many say that Lucerys loved his children, doing all this for them, but Aemond could tell. He sees it in his eyes. The only one he loved was Corlys.
Was it because of him? Was it because they were of his blood as well? Did Lucerys truly hate him so much it would affect how he saw the children they created together? Were his children hated because of him?
Aemond pulled away after that. He didn't change how well he treated Lucerys, nor did he confront him, because despite the lack of love and warmth in his eyes, Lucerys was equal in his treatment with their sons. He, however, would no longer listen to Lucerys' rambles of Corlys, thinking about Baelon and Aemon. He would cut him off, redirect the conversation, or simply leave. Soon, Lucerys' words would dwindle, from specific instances to vague descriptions, to simply answering yes or no whenever Aemond would ask about them. He stopped trying to share new information about any of their children to Aemond, and Aemond missed it, their little nightly talks changed to both of them doing their own things, before falling asleep.
When Lucerys gave birth to a girl, Aemond held hope that maybe he would see even a glimpse of warmth in his eyes, only to be disappointed. He was confused, however, to see a hint of fear in his brown eyes when he looked at their girl. Again, he treated her well, but Aemond knows, whether it was out of duty to the children, or to keep others from whispering, whatever the reason, it was not out of love the way he was with Corlys.
Something happened, however, with their fourth child. He didn't know what happened prior to this, nor did he know what was going on in Lucerys' mind. All he knows is that something in him snapped, to cry this heartbreakingly. All he could do was hold him as he cried so much he could barely breath, gasps and hiccups was the only thing to be heard, and tears that could fill buckets fell from his eyes. Aemond may not understand where this sudden onslaught of emotions were coming from, nor does he know what caused his unusually silent husband to suddenly crack, but he knows his omega needed him now, so he stayed, and he comforted him gently until he falls asleep.

Fanfic Idea! (ABO Lucemond, where Lucerys had a son before Aemond)
Lucerys stared at the new child blankly, his heart devoid of love or joy when the screaming babe was placed in his arms. He had only held her for a few moments, before giving her up to one of the nursemaids, using the excuse that she was tired and needed rest. Well, it wasn't really an excuse, the labor was rough, his eyes were drooping, but it still felt like he was using an excuse. He didn't want to see this new addition to the family.
It had been years, ever since he was forced to bear the crown as queen, to keep balance with the greens. He hated this, but it was better than forcing his poor Aegon to marry the daughter of their mother's killer. He still remembered the screams of Aegon, the first time he made such a noise ever since they were forced to witness their mother's death.
"NO! I won't do it! No! No! No! Don't let them make me do it, Luke, don't let them make me!"
So he had to do it, he had to make the sacrifice. It was a good think his husband has already long died in the war, otherwise he would have no way of helping Aegon now.
When he woke, the room was clean, the babe was placed on a small bassinet next to his bed, sleeping soundly. He could only look at her for a few seconds before looking away. He couldn't, he couldn't look at the child without the guilt of knowing he had no love for her.
After his husband's death, his family's demise, after the war, after being forced to marry Aemond, he thought he had long lost his ability to love the way he used to. He was so sure he wouldn't feel love again. But then it happened. The familiar burst of energy and warmth from his chest, and it had only happened when-
"Mu帽a?"
Lucerys turned his head, and the feeling came back. He gestured him to enter, and he ran to his side, quickly getting on the bed. He was in his nightclothes, Lucerys noticed absentmindedly. He gestured him to his side, and when he did, Lucerys held him tight, inhaling the soft scent of his hair, relaxing him well.
His son, his sweet boy Corlys II. It was a hard pregnancy, the supposed joyous occasion ruined by the war, ruined by the very news of the death of his husband mere moments apart.
He was heavily pregnant when he was forced to marry Aemond, yet Aemond still accepted the alternative solution, to the disgruntlement of his side of the war. When he gave birth to the sweet being in his arms, he felt so much joy his heart felt it would burst. He named him Corlys II, in honor of the man who continued to support his claim even after he was declared omega, who stood by him in everything, who chose a good husband for him who loved him dearly, and who stands beside him now, his unofficial Master of Whispers.
He felt something after so long that he could barely look at anyone else for so many moons, only having eyes of Corlys II, only thinking of his sweet boy. He was addicted to the feeling. The feeling of love he never thought he would have again.
So after a year or so, when Aemond wished to consummate the marriage after waiting for so long, he agreed, thinking that maybe more children could heal the empty hole in his heart.
But it didn't. When he held his twins, he didn't feel the familiar swell of emotions, he didn't feel the joy and the heaviness of love. Instead he felt nothing. So much of nothing and he scared him. It scared him how much he felt nothing for his own flesh and blood, it scared him so much he couldn't bare to look at them for the first few weeks. It was the same with the third child, a girl. He had hoped he would feel something, anything, but it was just the same emptiness of the heart and it burned him so.
And now, a fourth child with Aemond, and nothing. Only Corlys made him feel love. And he's sure his other children were catching onto it. He felt guilt, so much guilt for not being able to love them the way he loved his firstborn, but he doesn't know why, nor does he know how to learn to love them, because he never needed to learn before. Love came naturally to him, it was an emotion he could have easily given years ago. Now, though, now it seems he only have enough for one person.
He tried his best not to make it obvious, included all his children in everything, did everything with them, but tried to force himself to love them, but he couldn't. He just couldn't do it, and he had felt like he was going mad with guilt. How could he not love them, innocent ones that they are? Has he changed that much? Did the war ruin even this?
He felt himself crying, and he knows he needed to stop, Corlys was looking at him worriedly, looking like he was about to cry too, but he can't help it. He couldn't stop the sobs, the tears and the guilt he had for years finally forced him to explode. He hugged Corlys tighter, and he felt Corlys cry too, and that just made him cry even more. Then the new babe he didn't even name yet must have woken up and sensed the sad atmosphere, because she began crying too.
Lucerys wasn't surprised Aemond entered the room mere minutes later, sure that the guards must have told him he was crying senselessly with the children. Aemond sent for Corlys' nursemaid and sent him back to his room despite his protests, the newly born babe was also taken away. Now it was just Lucerys and Aemond.
And Aemond, heartless man that he was, wrapped his arms around Lucerys' shoulders as he allowed Lucerys to cry his heart out. This was the first time he has ever cried out outside of his labors, the first time he had allowed himself to mourn and cry. The endless guilt was the straw that broke his back, and in that night, all the guards outside could hear was the cries of their queen, and the soft, coaxing words of their king.
----------
I made Lucerys' husband as ambiguous as I could. I'll let you chose whoever he was.
So, any thoughts? Any declarations?
