Mun: So here’s the plan....

What I should have done from the start was use one of my old Trinity Blood blogs for Menenius but didn’t for some reason.

Now I’m currently in the slow process of deleting all my post over there and changing the layout so I can then make this one an archive and/or delete it.

“Clearly my....teasing......is not what you’re used to Lyon, since you clearly comment on me having and I quote.....” Clearing his throat a small bit, he wasn’t the best with impressions as he tried to sound a bit like the other. “A stick up yer ass constantly if not more.” And that truly was embarrassing to do and horrible since he was a leader, not an actor. “But I still think both of us in the room would be beneficial since it might help in the end. Throw more ideas into the pile and plan better strategies, with your input of course as well.” Placing both hand behind him as he stood straight, Menenius gave a slight grin as peach eyes gazed at the Huyr before him.

Lyon shrugs. “What is a bunch of snakes to a Master of Beasts?” Rule number once about training beasts, that they are what they are, no taming can take the claws and teeth out of them. That a beast can turn on their Master at any sign of weakness or lack of respect. “Do that, and I will just defang you, but what is a point of a snake if you take what makes it dangerous and worth keeping around?”

“Oh you’re no fun Helsos.” As his predatory grin reverted back to normal with an eyebrow raised, he still couldn’t help but chuckle softly. Arm crossed over another as one rested on his chin gently. “But you have to admit that me and my twin would make the days that more interesting no? Both of us in the same room, could you handle it then?” There were days that he could tease without that so called stick in his ass, but they were getting more and more rare as the days went on.

Brows raise. “I’m no fun?” Raising his hands he rubs his wrists as he moves his gauntlets. “You usually complain about me not be professional enough, not that I care.” Still, makes him curious now. “Makes it more interesting?…” Frowning he looks away as he starts to walk about in thought. “Nooo, more like way to serious and professional for me, naw. One bad enough, two may make it worse.” Stopping he shrugs. “Saying I’m wrong?” Turning to the other he raises a brow curiously. “What happen to you, knock that thick skull on something?”

That is true, it's hard to get past him, but doesn't mean he hasn't thought that maybe this may be fruitless, that they allowed to much time to the enemy. And even if they got past him, Meneius was a tough one, together, they were almost unstoppable. It was good to hear him however speak that he trusts him with his life, but what if he fails? No, he can't fail. Dawon and he will make sure of it. "Yeah..."

But there was the possibility of failing and falling before back up arrive, then what? The 4th legion were the last line of defense before they reach Noah and his father, so of course he would fight tooth and nail needed. Raising an eyebrow again, the Tribunus spoke once more as he removed his gloved hand from the elder’s arm. “If needed, should the time come to it, we’ll prepare with many back up plans as needed. You with Dawon and the rest of the beastmaster’s, then me with my machines. I won’t make it that easy to reach me and I’m sure you won’t allow it either Lyon.” It would have to be one hell of a plan if it did happen and while Menenius wasn’t worried about the Resistance getting to that point, the possibility was still there. 

“If it’ll make you feel better, the only order I’ll give you when it happens is give them hell. Use everything you have, all your strength as well. I trust you completely to do what is absolutely needed.”

A softer expression in both peach eyes and face came over the younger as he leaned against the wall before chuckling softly to the other since Lyon was worried about him? Yet he knew where the other was coming from since everything was uncertain now and with the Bozjan's slowly gaining a foot ground in territory wise, there was that one fear that could possibly happen. "Even if they manage to get past you and straight to me, I can still put up one hell of a fight until back-up arrives at the very least."

Still, if it was Noah who he said this too, he would be worried.... just like Lyon is at the moment. A softer voice was sounded as he pushed himself off of the wall and patted the other on his arm. "But I promise you that I'll be safe, especially with you and Dawon working as one."

He REALLY needed to remind himself of Lyon's strength since seven hells, he could feel it even through his armor as the elezen grumbled towards the older Hyur. "Either someone paid you to do this or you're wanting something Helsos......" Usually the latter and well....Lyon must have destroyed something AGAIN if this was happening. "What did you do this time?"
