Dieter shook his head. "Ah sorry I was being stupid. I know you can't really forget it," he gave her a warm smile. "Don't be sorry, you're really good at comforting. I feel a bit better," he could feel himself going back to the locket, but suddenly stopped himself. 

Dieter bumped into someone, he turned. "Hey you better-" he paused noticing it was a female. "Oh I uh...I'm sorry miss, d-did I hurt you?"

"Sorry!" Mithien said automatically as someone collided with her. She pushed some of her hair out of her face sheepishly. "Oh, no. I’m fine," she reassured the tall stranger.

He shrugged it off. "It's alright...I heard it millions of times. I know I should try and get past it," he clenched his fist, feeling weak. He felt so weak compared to the others. "Thank you for comforting me." Dieter sighed, letting go of the locket.

Dieter sighed. "Yeah I know," he wasn't mad that he got that place. He was glad to know that his effort brought him there. "So...did you place int the top ten when you were training?" 

She did have a point. “I’m not saying I’m not happy, I’m glad I was it just doesn’t seem right is all,” he told the female. Dieter knew he should be happy he got in the top ten.

Dieter smiled. "You think so? Thank you Mithien, it means a lot to me." he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. His green eyes scanned the paintings as well. He missed the days when it was him and his sister.

"Oh this one," he stopped her at a painting that was of a little girl. Her golden hair was braid into two pigtails. A huge smile was planted on her lips."This one I really love. I feel like I really got her smile down."

"I bet you would," he pushed of the wall as well. "Come this way, I'll show you." he began to walk towards his room. It wasn't too far from where the two of them were standing. When he ran into her, he was coming back from Hanji's office. Dieter got in trouble again for starting a fight.

The two were no standing in front of a wooden door. The male opened it reveling his room. It wasn't messy like the other's, it was actually neat. On one side of the wall held books stacked neatly against each other. A window which should the outside world, the sunlight shined on the polished desk.

Dieter bent down and grabbed a sketch book and a folder. "Here, you can look through them if you'd like." he handed her both with a smile upon his lips.

He smiled awkwardly. "Yes I guess we did." he never really realized what a special bond he had with his little sister. Dieter really missed her warm hugs in the morning, their small fights they had over the bathroom. Now he never had that warm feeling, and he will never find it again.

Dieter frowned. "Yeah this isn't the first time, well the experiment one is," he looked at the surroundings of the experiment room. He crunched his nose. "Ugh it smells horrible in here."

Eren gave him a small nod, leading him out the door and down the hallway a little. “So youre on kitchen and experiment duty? That sucks.” He said, leading him to where the experiments were held. Hanji had ordered him to teach Dieter the basics of the surroundings.
