I'm sure the Sisters would like him. He's a good fighter, albeit a bit trigger-happy on that Melta, but for the ladies who are used to working with people like Kesh that's just endearing.
They would have the most adorable (tanna) tea party once they teach the man some sign language.

Look at him go, serving cunt like he serves tanna tea.

Recent grimdank memery has reinforced my belief that the only reason BigE did not make any Lady Primarchs (that we know of) and subsequently Lady Astartes was that he was genuinely scared of them.
Imagine an entire legion of people like Calladayce Kesh or Bayezara Aggonades. Either they wipe themselves out on the spot or become the most dangerous force in the galaxy. One insane transhuman woman is an individual outlier. Two insane ones are hinting towards a pattern...

It might not even be canon anymore. If there is any pattern in lore since GW got their shit together for the Horus Heresy, it is mostly that "everything older than two decades is out".
The Daemoncalabrese is from 2004. Stories that old make out probably even less than 2% of published 40k works by now, and most of these books, with the exception of famous oldies like Ciaphas Cain, no one has ever read. The only reason it stuck around is because of "eww look how yucky it is"-memes.
Wouldn't be surprised if GW just carefully shoved it under the rug as a "just don't ever bring it up ever again gods this is embarassing" type of deal. Would probably be for the best.

Hmm I am not so sure if this is Fiddlesticks. Making chaos in a dream realm is more Nocturne's stick, but it might be another demon, on the same power level as Tahm Kench or Ashlesh. Fiddlesticks is simply not sentient enough to even hold a conversation. To quote Necrit: "he just repeats things he heard - and then he just murders you".
Fiddlesticks is the husk of something absolutely terrible. Something essential had been stolen from whatever terror they were, maybe their soul, maybe their brain (brainless scarecrow would make a funky Wizard of Oz reference tho), but even without that, Fiddlesticks is still a force of nature. Whatever they once were could not be killed in any form that mattered. The Fiddlesticks we know is essentially at 1% power - if that thing ever makes a recovery of what is missing, we are all screwed.

The game has a few decades of accumulated fuckery, but my perfect example is combos involving THIS piece of ancient weirdness:
Tumblr media
There is a way to start several layers of "sub games", especially if you also bring WISH type of cards.
For 40k people not getting it this equates to "alright half of our units each fall into a warp rift, aka a 1k match of 40k, one table over, and the winner gets 4 CP, then return these units to normal and keep playing as you did before". Absolutely insane. Now imagine if you could keep doing this on multiple layers, so the 1k game gets also reduced to a 500p game a SECOND table over.
And then you get a mechanic that lets you field a unit that was not even in your army roster, you just own it. That's the WISH card, and there's multiple of those. As weird as 40k rules can get, I am forever grateful they are not written by WotC.
MTG's style of text also means some stuff that sounds simple actually breaks the game in half because of weird as fuck rule interactions lol
There's a reason Panglacial Wurm is considered the absolute peak of rules fuckery even tho the effect is basically a big statstick with "you can play this when you search your library"
PANGLACIAL WURM MY BELOVED. But yes, the outward simplicity of wordage conceals the absolute maelstrom of fuckery underneath calm waters

That khorneschosen guy makes me feel embarrassed for liking World Eaters because I'll subconsciously think of his petty grouching. Bro really thought he was cooking.
He's really a sad one - the sort of "I am a gay conservative" type of person who thinks he's smart for moving himself into an area where he automatically gets the spotlight by being what he is, completly unaware that this attention comes mostly with a "oh what a fucking idiot" attached as seen by all sides.
And to top it off, he's on tumblr for it. It's such a typical "I can provide literally nothing that would make people pay attention to me, so I will place my existence in such a way that it will hopefully create the most controversy." Absolutely pathetic.
I am not sure why such types always gravitate to stuff like World Eaters. Imagine having vibes so rancid that people get secondhand cringe from thinking about a thing you are remotely connected to. Got him blocked now, I just hope he deletes his blog or something.

Oh trust me that feeling is universal. You either grow out of the ancient memes eventually or you become whatever passes for humor on facebook, which is a fate I don't wish on anybody really.
There's so many T'au memes that essentially originate from the same late 2000s 4chan imperium-fans crowd. They all suck and thankfully they are slowly falling out of use. "Fish Communists" never made sense for a caste society made of mammals...
pretty much my negative opinions boil down to "Stop using 20 year old memes!"

How about if I painted the left pauldron of my Imperial Knight in a mediaeval manuscript style?
Tumblr media
Obviously this is still very much WIP, but I think you'll get the idea! 😄 The plan is that the second half will show a fighting scene of a knight defeating a monster in melee, but I'll need to find a good (and goofy) reference for the monster first.
Also painting in this style helps with my fear of freehanding, because even if dimensions are a bit off, I can just say that it's part of the aesthetic 😆💁

A new book is out and by browsing reddit I am secondhand-learning a lot of things about the Drukhari because people are very excited about xenos lore getting some spotlight. Sadly, none of the things I am learning about the black leather elves are pleasant.

So I really wanted to play Montka T'au for the next event buuuuut... suddenly my GSC list has gained 80 points out of nowhere. Let's see how the Codex points look next week, but dang that looks enticing.
Those 80 points plus the filler I had to cram in because nothing else fit into the budges comes in well over 200 points now. Perhaps I can stock up on another real threat. It does not really matter if I bring 3 cyclops engine or 2, or if I bring a random gaggle of purestrains or not. But this opens options and I can't wait for the app to update..

You know what type of stratagem has been completly absent from 10th edition 40k? All sorts of orbital bombardments. The AdMech detachment somewhat touches on the theme, but originally almost all factions had access to "I pick a spot and do mortals, usually with a turn of delay" in the stratagem mountain that was their codecies.
The absolute 9th edition king of orbital bombardment abilities however was THIS:
Tumblr media
No one ever used it tho, but its existence sure is funny. Note that this one even hit your own units if you miscalculated on the range roll. Just indiscriminate "nuke whoever goes there" type of move.
Why have I been thinking about this? Well, if Calladayce Kesh ever gets to a model on the tabletop, THIS is the sort of ability they should slap onto her datasheet as a "once per game" move. Because if anyone in 40k brings a nuke to a gunfight, it's Kesh.
