Enneatype 9 summarised!!
Core type- Passion: sloth. E9s are extremely lazy when it comes to figuring themselves out, in fact, they’re more active when it comes to avoiding this. Fixation: indolence. They're also rather lethargic when it comes to their feelings and needs, and so, not allowing themselves to do what they’d most desire. Trap: seeker. They seek outside of themselves to what can help them from their problems, running from themselves. Defence mechanism: narcotization. To avoid being uncomfortable and keep their self image of being harmonious, they narcotize themselves to stop any negative, intense or painful emotion. Virtue: action. To overcome this laziness, the e9 has to learn to take action in what they love and who they are. They must learn to experience their essence. Key traits: Over-adjustment and merging, resignation, easygoing nature/affability, indecision.
Subtypes- Self preservation [sp]: The sp9 merges with things like routine and physical comfort. These routines can be anything, as long as they feel their painful thoughts and feelings are being suppressed by them. They can hold more grudges to others and obligations when they don’t fit their routines, ‘you asked me so now i don’t feel like doing it anymore.’ Sexual [sx]: Sx9s have the tendency to merge too much with someone else, often to the point they lose their entire sense of self. This makes it hard for them to notice what they don’t and do want and need, when they do they’re often scared to express these needs and so continue to suppress. Social [so]: So9s are extremely active compared to the other subtypes. They merge with groups and think that they need to work hard to obtain and keep this status in their social circle. They can even look similar to e3s at times, the difference is that they truly strive for acceptance of the group and a sense of belonging instead of material success.
Contradictions-  INFP, INFJ, INTJ, INTP, ENFP, ENTP, ENTJ, ENFJ, ISFP, ESTJ The most important misconception in these contradictions are intuitive types. This is due to psychological interia (concretism, lack of openness, etc), robot habit-boundness (bound to custom, regularity and tradition), distractibility (oversimplification of inner and outer world and laziness). All this directly contradicts intuition's main focus on abstraction, creation and overcomplication. E9 is also widely regarded as incompatible with Fi dominance, this is particularly prevalent in narcotization, being the deadening of feelings, while Fi values their emotion most. E9s also tend to lack communication about themselves, which is strange considering Fi being occupied with their self identity and expression.  Types you might want to look into if you are on this list are e2, e4, e5, e6 and e7.
Compatible types-  Self preservation: ISTP, ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTP, ESFP Sexual: ESFJ, ISFJ, ISTJ, ISTP Social: ESFJ, ISFJ, ISTJ, ISTP, ESTP, ESFP

Enneatype 4 summarised!!
Core type-  Passion: envy. E4s feel as though something is missing in their life. Whether this is a person, thing or feeling, they feel like others have achieved this while they stayed behind. Fixation: melancholy. Due to this loss, they feel like they don't belong amongst the people they assume have achieved this thing they want. They feel disconnected and unrelated to those. Trap: authenticity. E4s believe that that what is missing can come anytime. When it does come, they can finally feel fulfilled and authentic. Defence mechanism: introjection. To avoid ordinariness and keep their self image of being authentic, they take external negativity directed towards them and internalise them in a way that helps them feel in control of these critiques. Virtue: equanimity. They need to allow themselves to be happy in the present and with what they have, this is called equanimity. And so, they overcome their envy. Key traits: Inferior self-image, focus on suffering, emotional sensitivity and empathic ability, aesthetic sensibility, push-pull pattern in relationships.
Subtypes-  Self preservation [sp]: Sp4s are stoic and learned to stay strong during painful situations. Sp4s are extremely demanding of themselves, they work hard to achieve what they’re missing. When this ends up stressing them out, they won't show or tell anyone. Their suffering is constantly suppressed, they hope to find validation and love because of how strong and enduring they are. Sexual [sx]: Envy is very present in the sx4. They feel as though they’re constantly made to compete with others they should be better than. Despite suffering from the inferiority all e4s deal with, this is much more socially suppressed in sx4s. They feel as though they must be superior or their efforts aren't worth anything. Social [so]: So4s are kind of the stereotypical e4s. They feel as though their suffering and pain is a part of them, while they do tend to talk about it a lot, this is often seen as their only trait which is not true. They are convinced something is fundamentally wrong with them and due to this constantly compare themselves to others in hopes to figure out what this is.
Contradictions-  INTP, ISTP, ENTP, ESTP, INTJ, ISTJ, ESTJ, ENTJ, ESFJ, ENFJ The main contradiction in e4 is the thinking dichotomy. Similar to e2, e4s highly value emotions and feelings. This doesn’t mean they don't value logic nor that thinking types don't value emotion, it just means they prefer one over the other. Another contradiction is Fe dominance. This is due to external emotion and a desire to please the group.  Types you might want to look into if you are on this list are e2, e3, e5, e6, e7 and e9.
Compatible types- Self preservation: INFP, ISFP, INFJ, ISFJ Social: INFP, ISFP, INFJ, ENFP, ESFP Sexual: INFP, ISFP, ENFP, ESFP

do you have any resources/reads for how childhood forms the types?
The very basic info is in Beatrice Chestnut’s ‘The Complete Enneagram’. She describes it in general (across the whole core) under the title ‘The Early Coping Strategy’ and also discusses certain details within the subtypes. This is a commonly read book however, so I wouldn't be surprised if you have already read it, in which case I would recommend you to read the individual enneagram books by Claudio Naranjo. These books can go further in depth on their points in general, considering they are focused on the individual cores, and this includes childhood.  I do admit that my reading on the childhood aspect is limited in comparison to other aspects due to the fact that I take it with a grain of salt. Enneagram, including its subtypes, arent monoliths. Experiences can vary, but outcomes can be the same. A person fitting every other aspect of a type except for their childhood isn’t a reason for them to not be said type.

What does socionics EII with INFJ type like?
The way you phrased this is a little bit vague, there's multiple ways i could interpret this, so i'll try to answer those i can think of. i'm really sorry if this isn't what you meant, please feel free to elaborate😓
Are EII and INFJ compatible? Yes and no, it's a little complicated. Socionics and mbti both stem from the same theory, jungian. mbti is very simplified while socionics is expanded by a multitude of different authors. There is nothing contradictory in EII and INFJ alone, however, counting in jungian, which needs to correspond directly to both, it's a bit odd. Socionics stays true to Jungs ir/rationality, making the alternative name for EII INFJ, though its base function is Fi (rational/judging function), like INFP in mbti (in which the p stands for perceiving, or irrationality in jungian). Myers Briggs messed up on that department (as many more). overall IEI INFJ or EII INFP would work better, but it depends on how serious you are about typology, imo this isn't a criminal contradiction and on its own it works fine.
What is the archetype of EII INFJ? Considering EII infj is kind of odd already, there's no real archetype, but I think the most ‘obvious’ (i don't know how else to call it, common?) typology would be so469 ELVF. sp6 LEFV works as well, LEVF (in case of so4).
What are typical behaviour/traits of EII INFJs? As I mentioned, mbti is lacking in a lot of departments, including this one. Gifts differing is super surface level and it's pretty much the only official source. I also mentioned how socionics is much more expansive, so if you want to look into traits and behaviour i would recommend reading further up on that! For this I'll recommend another account, as they have far more info than I'm able and willing to write out right now, let alone coherently. @2lwetdog on tiktok has really great videos on socionics, and I highly highly recommend them! Do remember that the way you act doesn't necessarily mean you’re one type or another, especially jungian typology, which mostly focuses on the mental aspects. Of course if nothing is remotely similar to you, it might be time to look into other options, but not everything about this particular aspect has to be exactly like you.

What's the difference between e5 and e6?
The most noticeable difference in my experience is in the passion and defence mechanism. I will mostly be addressing traits most prominent in the sp instinct for these types, as they share the most similarities. Both e5 and e6 are withdrawn types, however, e5s are more avoidant, they ‘solve’ their struggles with social depletion, by isolation and avoidance. e6s, on the other hand, will isolate out of fear and the assumed danger that people represent to them. This assumption of danger is due to projection and fear. E6s will project a negative self image onto others, they start to assume this person believes something negative about them, so they become a threat. E5s don't focus as actively on fear in this same way. While both e6 and e5 aren't particularly focused on emotion, e5s struggle with their outward emotional control and expression much more deeply than e6 does. E5s are very emotionally hypersensitive, internally that is, they protect this by detaching from this externally to create an illusion of control.  You can also read more about comparisons and differences between each type at the end of ‘The Complete Enneagram’ (pg. 420-421 for e5-e6), which might also be helpful! Also I'm so sorry for being 2 weeks late to answer this, I wrote half of this on vacation and then I didn’t have as much time to finish it… I really hope I was still able to somewhat help you out!

obvious differences between EII and IEI? i'm sure i'm 4w5 469 ELVF (so/sp > so/sx but i'm not sure about that)
I meant to reply to this much earlier, I am so so sorry! The best way to understand which out of these types makes the most sense in this case, I reckon, would be through the rationality and irrationality dichotomy. EII (INFj, Fi base) being a rational type and IEI (INFp, Ni base) irrational. I must admit that I can't explain this dichotomy as well and concisely as I wish I could, so instead I’d recommend reading pages 43-44 and 50-51 of Carl Jungs ‘Psychological Types’ which describe rationality and irrationality within introversion specifically.

I've typed myself ESFP 7w6 749 EFLV sx/so (not sure about socionics and jungian, and still debating my attitudinal psyche one because ap is a bit too convoluted for me), does this contradict? I've seen people say sx7 contradicts Se but I seek out intense experiences, people and things then basically milk it of all the obsession/excitement it gives me until I find something else entertaining as an escape from boredom in a very sx7 way, I just don't relate to the heavily Ne/Ni-based description of it that states sx7s are dreamers who are drawn to ideas/the future. Also, what would my socionics and jungian type be? Thanks!
Sx7 and Se very much do contradict, e7 as a whole is pretty much focused on this idea of possibilities, particularly present in the fixation of planning and trap of idealism. What you're referring to with seeking out intense experiences and milking those is only a part of the passion for gluttony, the way you described it might even fit better with e8s lust. If you’ve avoided typing as this in the past due to a more stereotypically aggressive image related to e8 i would recommend you to read the so8 description, which differs quite a bit in this sense. Unfortunately there’s no book on e8 alone, I'll try to link other more in depth sources. (pdbwiki is probably the most complete you can get, if you want any specific source, feel free to ask and i’ll see what i can do :3)
For your Jung you'll most likely have to look into ES(F) and for socionics SEE. Both correspond to ESFP directly, which I've talked a bit about before, when you use all systems at the same time they'll have to connect.

Hello!
I’m trying to find information on Attitudinal Psyche, specifically subtypes. do you have anything i can study?
Attitudinal psyche is one of those sneaky systems that's easier to find and understand than the one it’s copying, which in this case is psychosophy. I'm not as against ap as I am against 16personalities or rheti, in fact I would say that it's a decent place to start. But I do beg of you to not stop there!! you can find a lot of the info on ap on their site, and alongside py you can find a bunch of info on pdbwiki as well. There is a full book dedicated to py, "The Syntax of Love" by Alexander Afanasyev, which gets a bit questionable at times, hence I don't recommend to just jump into that immediately, but it's still one of the best sources considering its written by its creator. There's also this document on the subtypes, though i forgot who put it together :(

as a 4 who is friends w many 4s, i think this way of thinking is a way for the 4 to compensate for the fact that most of them have a very weak will.
they are actually very weak to the wills of the world than others and that scares them. thus they have to find ways to fight back and end up overcompensating
they simultaneously don’t let anyone tell them how to think or act but then also need validation of everyone just to feel like they are capable of doing anything.
as for soc blindness, i think it’s a def a way that 4’s try to protect their ego. think of so4, they’re always the victim and butt of the joke, and most 4’s want to be anything but that because that’s usually who they have been for their entire life, until they found the will to change. they put up a wall between themself and the image of so4 to distance themselves from the shame they feel at being the butt of all jokes, the last pick, the easy prey.
i completely agree it’s annoying and pretentious behaviour. i see it in myself as well and find it hard to change a lot of the time unfortunately. i hope the unaware 4’s can learn to recognize these patterns as well +_+
something I notice about unaware 4s, is that their snowflake syndrome manifests as them pretending that they're not susceptible to anything outside of themselves whilst everyone else is. the 4 is so special, they never got affected by any cultural programming, that's only what weak people and sheeple normie attachment types / superego types / socs do. the 4 is so special and so detached.
Real 4s tm are these super cool and mysterious people who never feel any influence from the outside world. every feeling, belief and ideal they form is formed in an echobubble of their own destiny and purpose. or some shit.
...even though it is literally impossible by the laws of human psychological development, to not have your personality influenced by signals of social expectations that you soaked up as a child, and by signals of expectations and norms that you soak up in general.
the unaware 4s want you to believe they are not human, basically. they want you to believe they are Gods or Fairies or some otherworldly being who doesn't follow the laws of human psychology like everybody else does.
the "i'm so cool and unimpressionable because I'm soc-blind" crowd are all 4s and 4-fixes, I say this with certainty. also I am calling out John Luckovich who types literally everyone who isn't delusional and admits to being influenced by stuff outside of themselves, as a non-4.

Musings about my 8 experiences
So… most 8 descriptions turn the type into a shallow meme. “Orly? You think you’re an 8? Go start a scene at the mall! because 8 is about being a Karen” “Prove ur a literal psychopath before you identify with this type”. Everyone (especially all the ppl who date 8s! Lol) begs 8s to figure ourselves out. Enneagram does a piss poor job at helping us figure ourselves out… just turns us into a caricature and forces us to prove any psychopathic behaviors we may already harbor due to this fixation.
So, I have done you people the honors of figuring 8s out!
Read what Ichazo, one of the OG, says about 8.
———
Tumblr media
——— This is not The Cool Type. Nor is it “the dark edgy traumatized type that only the most dark edgy traumatized people can be” — that is an indirect way of still glorifying 8 as The Cool Type. 8 is literally just another type which gives its own problems to the person who has to deal with it.
I actually believe that low Te 8s are more common than high Te 8s, since as you can see here, 8 is about the inability to tolerate structure including any structures that you yourself build. 8 is NOT the Te-like desire to create more structure. Immature Te where you create a structure you didn’t really think deeply about creating, and then tear it down immediately because your immature Te doesn’t know how to keep it up, or because your more dominant Fi takes over and feels like it doesn’t want to continue suddenly, is common in 8s.
I commonly see high Tes thinking they’re 8s becuz they’re assertive bosses and good leaders. Lol. No. You guys are 3s or 1s. 8s must do a fuckton of conscious growth and development before we can begin to add the structure and consistency to our lives AND TO OUR BRAINS, that is necessary to make us good leaders of anything. The most stereotypical 8 is an ESFP Antifa looter or gang criminal with no concept of their direction in life whatsoever. Not an ambitious CEO following a tight schedule of meetings! That is structure. 8s cannot handle structure without bursting into a rage and tearing it down, by definition of the type.
The 8 being unable to handle structure is not purely an external thing. The hatred of structure runs so deep, that the 8 cannot even handle structure within his or her own mind. The 8’s hatred of external authority is the manifestation of her hatred of authority within. 8s tear down any authority they attempt to create in their own lives just as much as they tear down any external authority they see. Self destructive? Yeah. Do 8s care? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Concepts like “self destructive” are toxic and flawed and must be torn down too, according to the 8. All standards of morality are unjust and lacking truth somehow and therefore must be torn down, internally and externally. The 8 is the ultimate postmodernist.
——————
Now let’s talk about my life experience. Setting goals feels like locking myself into a cage full of chains. I literally feel like a caged beast when I define simple goals for myself, with the level of anger it causes me. I could tell you my goals but I know it’ll all be bullshit and I won’t actually follow them because I get angry about the chains the structure is imposing on me (even tho I’m the one who built it. Once its built it is out of my immediate control and has a life of its own it can use to control me). I angst and I rage about how I can’t do simple things. I only do Te stuff when absolutely forced by something in the external world which repulses me more than my own Te. I’m not able to do structure even though I know that it’s the way to make money and become the 8 -> 2 provider protector goddess queen I want to be. Um… why should money even be a thing anyways? Money is a construct of the unjust power structure. It makes my body REEEE to discipline myself into seeking money.
If I happen to spontaneously run into money without putting an elaborate, STRUCTURED effort into making money, I’ll be like “yippee!” and take it. But putting too much conscious effort into working hard and making money makes me fucking REEEEE as it activates my sense of injustice about everything you could possibly feel a sense of injustice about.
I’m too prideful about how I won’t be controlled, even by my own superego and my own dreams. I will tear those structures I create down too because I believe there is no truth in anything, not even anything I create or aspire to (loss of Holy Truth). My superego knows that it’s good for me to follow my work ethic and go to work. My rageful vengeance complex cannot go to work because I’m too angry about all the little injustices at work and the corrupt nature of corporate work to begin with. Self-destructive internal struggles like this where you tear down any decision-making framework you are trying to build due to seeing little injustices everywhere, are all part of the 8 fixation. 8s must heal ourselves through being aware of them and reasoning with them.
The 8 fixation is not purely externalized. No fixation is purely externalized. It is most important for the Assertive types out of any of the types, to realize the internal psychological nature of their fixation, as these types are the most negligent of their internal psychology

The Enneagram of Divine Forms — Point 1: The Perfectionist
Ego-fixation developed in childhood by the influence of a mother who appeared to the child as a rigid, distant, cold, and unloving person, and who seemed to constantly observe all defects — real and apparent — in the child and the child's behavior
Deep feeling of actually lacking perfection
Fixated idea of not being perfect enough
Profound self-righteousness based on preconceived patterns of perfection
Characteristic punctiliousness, meticulousness and fastidious behavior
Obsessed with obtaining perfection in every area of their life, as well as in their personal behavior and being
General existential attitudes of sadness and depression, a ‘broken heart’
Resentful about the lack of perfection in others, but even more in themselves
Feel themselves as being unloved
Attitude of resentment against the world and themselves
Passion of anger: they will thrill themselves by producing in their imagination angry scenes and violent confrontations
Callous on one side and touchy on the other
Isolation: their primary defense mechanism, when a feeling or situation is unacceptable, perfectionists defend or distance themselves from psychic distress by isolating themselves from it (by being cold and unloving, especially to those who provoked their anger)
Assert to themselves: ‘I am responsive and adaptive’
Sense of being resented by others and themselves
Ego-reaction: weakness, regardless of their imagined reckless confrontations
Ego-justification: stubbornness
Extreme sense of imperfection
Depression in finding themselves unlovable and isolated
Objective on one side and judgemental on the other

I find the enneagram system intriguing but daunting as a newbie to it, where do you suggest I start?
it’s usually good to find and study the central theorists. oscar ichazo, claudio naranjo, don riso, russ hudson, helen palmer, eli jaxon-bear, richard rohr. gladly they’re all over youtube and there are a lot of blogs breaking it down plus offering self-tests.
