A friend sent me my ex's bumble profile today and I literally screamed laughing at it. Guess the relationship with the girl he literally left me for didn't last too long lol

Yesterday I probably had one of my worst days teaching due to dealing with massive behavioral problems with students all while my dad was going under open heart surgery and today I feel like a shell of a human with no motivation to do anything.

Today when I asked a 3rd grader why he was eating his pink cherry chapstick he told me it was a pink cheese stick.

I've been vegetarian for almost five years now and I never crave meat except when I see a McDonald's chicken nugget. I know those things are literally rancid but the taste is so good. Anyways my boyfriend and I just tried a new deep fried tofu recipe and it tastes just like McD's nuggies and I am crying.

If you don't believe in the man flu you are wrong. My boyfriend and I have had the same illness back to back and when I say that he has been useless while sick I mean it. I was doing dishes, picking up after myself, fucking teaching elementary children from 8am-3pm while dealing with the symptoms of my cold.

My boyfriend took yesterday off work and has done nothing but sleep because his throat hurts too much to be awake. I have cooked, cleaned, gotten groceries at his request, bought dinner, and worked while he has been sleeping and I am fucking exhausted.

I am officially now a full-time elementary music teacher and today alone I experienced:

A kindergartener go into full meltdown mode because I wouldn't let him sit next to his friend (they don't make good choices when next to each other)

A 1st grader insist on lying down on my floor for the whole class despite me asking him multiple times to sit up and participate.

A second grader tell me he can't read even though I know for a fact he can.

A third grader who gives me a literal death glare whenever I steer him back to his task when he's goofing off

And a fourth grader aggressively fake sneeze over and over until he cracked his head on his desk....

But at least my fifth graders were pretty chill.

I feel so much love and pride for Miley Cyrus. Used to Be Young is such a wonderful song and message. She has been put through literal hell and somehow she's come out to be an intelligent, compassionate, and incredibly well rounded human. She's just such a powerhouse.

There really is nothing quite like going eat with your parents and then having your parents and the waitress make fun of you for ordering a carb high meal. I am literally on my period. Shoot me if I feel like shit and want to eat comfort food.

I looked up my ex boyfriend on Instagram today just for shits and giggles and the absolute hot mess of a photo I was greeted with gobsmacked me to the point of hysterical laughter. This dumbass looks such a fool on this Instagram and I can't even begin to say how thankful I am that he dumped me so I don't have to put up with his stupidity anymore.

My boyfriend and I are moving in together at the start of next month and there are so many people trying to get in on the moving day it's insane. My parents are going help and then like 2 days ago his parents announced they want to help. And this morning my brother and sister in-law were like we want to help we've kept that weekend open for you. I'm dying. This is definition too many cooks in the kitchen.

I've been thinking and it has just occurred to me that my ex-boyfriend probably kept insisting that I deserved someone better than him during our breakup because he probably had already cheated on me with his current girlfriend.

Or at least he wanted to cheat on me with his current girlfriend.

Also the other morning he woke up before me and started giving me the gentlest back rubs ever so that I would slowly start waking up to him rubbing my back.
