species dysphoria culture is not realizing that you had it for a long time because you usually only get it over really weird things. like no, i don't care that i'm mostly furless, bipedal, have no tail, have a flat snout, lack claws, and am WAYYY bigger than your average housecat. but i am legitimately sad that my pupils are round, my tongue isn't raspy, and that i don't have a primordial pouch

(the exception to this is my ears--they're shaped so wrong :{ but that's a pretty common thing for sd)
