I forgot that it was Wen Ning’s b-day yesterday so I did a quick drawing of my favorite scene between the two of the babies. I wanted to try to draw the scene in the Chibi version of Wei from the Manhua, so I gave it my best shot.

Since I asked for requests when I posted my Hannibal medley, I’ve tried to go through all the tags and reblogs to see what people would like me to cover on the harp.  As far as I can tell, the only person who requested anything was @vi0lentquiche, who requested Bloodfest (aka the heart-wrenching music from the end of Mizumono).

Unfortunately, Bloodfest is literally a recording of the Goldberg Variations (harpsichord, I think) slowed wayTF down and layered with some ambient tones.  Trying to actually play it on the harp would just sound like I’m playing the Bach super duper slow and probably not resemble the track from the show at all.

I can, however, take my recording of the Bach and slow it wayTF down.  It sounded surprisingly close to Bloodfest at that point, but I did add some smoothing effects cause my recording came across a little harsher than I had wanted.

So here’s about the first half of my take on Bloodfest, from Mizumono on the harp.  I have a full version that’s 10 minutes long, but tumblr says the file is too big.  Bah.

Big thanks to @vi0lentquiche for the request!  If anyone else has any requests, feel free to let me know!  They don’t have to be Hannibal related.  If it’s reasonably possible on the harp and not something I don’t like, I’ll consider it!
