and then Herb and Pastry try to take care of him?

• When pastry cookie found gingerbrave at first she was going to kill him but herb was around to stop her before she did

• When herb cookie took gingerbrave In his home gingerbrave would stay very close to him when another cookie was around or even hides

• when pastry cookie came to see him again gingerbrave tired to kill her

• Herb would let gingerbrave run around in the woods while looking for things he can cook with the meats for dinner

•When gingerbrave and pastry cookie gotten closer he saw her as a mother figure and went to sleep next to her which surprise pastry since she almost murdered a child

• most of the time Gingerbrave wakes up early and comes back looking like a mess which herb cookie and pastry would clean him up before he ate dinner

it's fucking beautiful, that they could find love together in the face of cruelty, that they love as an act of joy, love as an act of defiance, love in the face of guilt and invasion and pain. it is queer love between two abused girls who find solace and revenge in being together
