Those who protest against Israel's genocide are punished for antisemitism.
But for some strange reason, authorities have never cracked down on antisemitism any other time. Any other time, antisemitism is considered free speech.
It's almost as if they know damn well that protesting against Israel is not antisemitism.
LESS THAN TWO HOURS AGO: four cornell students have been suspended (and at least the one reporting was evicted, unknown about the others) for their involvement with their campus's gaza solidarity encampment. during a school year centering freedom of expression no less!
ONE HOUR AGO: greg abbott, who i have the great displeasure of calling my governor, is calling for the expulsion and jailing of ut austin students exercising their first amendment right to freedom of speech an assembly. every single motherfucker on the right soooo concerned about the first amendment seems to be creaming their pants over college students being brutalized and arrested for protesting. its fucking reprehensible.
A video of Palestinian children holding signs and thanking the student protesters of Yale, Harvard, and Columbia University . . . saying "We love you."
This one made me cry. Those kids have been through so much, they've seen death and destruction that no one should have to endure, especially not a child. But knowing that someone out there in the wide world, the world that isn't penned in by barricades, sees their struggles and cares, meant enough to them that they made a video.
this is unbearable. just a little while ago when the baby was born we were lamenting that refaat never got to meet his grandkid and now his grandkid, son in law, and daughter are dead too?! ايه القهر ده!
