It's very pretty #Anyways... back on track! #I don't know how popular of a headcanon this is... but personally? #I headcanon that Annie is a trans woman. In the mid-1980s, animated adaptations of arcade games were commonplace— for example, Hanna Barbera's Pac-Man or Saturday Supercade's Q*Bert. Both of these shows, for lack of a better term, 'Americanize' the designs of the titular characters, so I got to thinking...

"What would a mid-1980s cartoon based off Rascal look like?"

Seeing as I've had prior experience in drawing faux animation cels, I decided to put that talent to the test and whip up not only a cel drawing but also a painted background for a scene for a hypothetical 1985 Rascal cartoon! 🍬🧡💙🧡🍬

Idea: The Final Boss of Star Tower should be The Evil MC from Smash TV after you break open Sinistar. XD

This would be incredibly funny, and given how much I love Smash TV I'm bound to reference it someplace within Star Tower, though the true final boss behind Sinistar already, that being Todd Ro— I mean, Richie T. Honestly, now that I think about it, Smash TV would make a really good stand-in for the Golf level!

I will say I was at one point really close on choosing Pac-Man to replace Pizzahead, specifically his depiction in Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures. He just has that vibe.

⭐ STAR P-RANK SCREEN REAL??? ⭐

Oh my gosh, thank you!!! For context, last night I completed the Noise Update and absolutely refused to take down Pizzahead until I P-Ranked him— it took a little over an hour of nonstop attempts, and I only ended up making it to phase three two or three times, though I'm pleased to announce that I've P-Ranked all bosses as both Peppino and The Noise!

I thought I'd doodle a quick something to go along with the superb P-Rank screen you drew! While I've still yet to conceptualize Star Tower's P-Rank screen (I have a general gist of how it's going to look and I've only drawn complete art for the D-Rank screen), I'm absolutely going to reference facets of your own if I may, especially the star spotlight; that's probably my favorite detail!!! ⭐👾✨

Today, April 4th, is World Rat Day, and to celebrate, the funny Noise is wearing his Thursday best!

Seeing as I drew and modded a custom sheep outfit into Pizza Tower just last year, it only felt appropriate to ring in my first celebrated World Rat Day by modding a Brick-inspired outfit into the Playable Noise update! 🐀✨

I WILL draw sprite art for it. #And Animaniacs is certainly no exception! #You might have noticed I steered clear of referring to this piece as an 'NES-styled Animaniacs title screen' #And that's because I know I'll more than likely get a comment that this isn't accurate to the limitations of the system #Which is true. Initially I set out for this to BE NES styled before it ended up as something better... #My own spriting style! 💙✨ #Granted I still used both the NES and NTSC NES color palettes to color this piece #When you're not going by strict limitations... a piece of this caliber becomes a lot more fun to draw! #I'm half tempted to do a SNES-styled logo of the 2023 iteration of the Animaniacs logo. I think that would look neat #I'm also very much open to spriting a V2 version of this logo as I understand there's a version with Pinky and the Brain too #I think there's just enough pixels for me to make it work! #P.S. - I still don't know when I'll start posting on the regular again.
