It's Premiere Eve, Folks!

I (Courtney) am so excited to share our final season with all of you. I think we (the ghoulish cast and crew) have really made something special. We went big, with 52 speaking roles and thirteen episodes.

It's wild and scary and exciting to wrap a series, and first and foremost I wanted to do Eulalie, Frankie and the gang justice--diving in to learn more about returning characters' backstories and unfinished business and giving a glimpse of what the future holds for our favorite ghosts, humans, and ghost hunters before we fade to eternal black.

It's been such an honor to collaborate with the crew, to see this story and these characters evolve as the fabulous cast brought them to life, and to see this story through to the end.

I hope you all enjoy the season as much as I enjoyed writing it with Georgia Mckenzie and hearing it come to life between VA takes and Brad Colbroock's phenomenal sound design.

Fawx & Stallion - Audio Verse Awards!

In the AVAs, across 18 categories that each have 5 or more winners, there are 19 productions that won in any category.

(This is just the popular vote, there's not mention of the jury stuff)

They've posted the winners without any sort of update on social media or emails to the creators who paid to submit. But hey at least we finally have winners.

for any new audio drama creators who’ve ever worried about acting in their own shows because they don’t want to hear themselves, let me tell you this:

having to edit your own voice lines is the best inoculation you can get against hating your own voice

it might not make you love it, but doing it for even just a few episodes is often enough to turn your feelings from “oh ew i sound like that??” to “this is just another set of noises i have to get through ughh”
