May Writing Challenge

This May I want to get back into writing. I’m not at all consistent. I’m at a point where I don’t feel like I can work on bigger things, because I can’t guarantee myself to keep working on it in a week from now. So I will take this month as a training month to get back into the habit of writing. I will do this by writing (or trying to write) 200 words every day. Topic is irrelevant. How great my writing is that day is irrelevant. Just 200 words written down. A habit taking 21 days to form was debunked, it does take a lot longer, but 31 days are a start I would say. These are already 140 words, so 200 words every day are hopefully manageable. You're more than welcome to join me if you like 😊

Tbh the problem with ship wars is that everyone tries to find a moral high ground to prove their ship is superior when actually shipping should be about making two characters kiss like a kid playing with barbie dolls

Conspiracy theory of the moment:

What if Mayko and John aren’t doing the Toronto meet-and-greet because they’re overseas filming Sarah and Charlie’s honeymoon in London?

Look we all know this isn’t the case, it’s more likely because they each have young kids and partners who also work in entertainment and are therefore just not available due to busy schedules (plus Diesel would be off filming with them and he’s clearly not, since he and Sherri will be at the event) but LET ME HAVE MY DREAMS.

I write for myself

Well this is amazing.

There is an AU that's been living rent-free on my mind since Hudson and Rex's S06E08, about Charlie being an actual inmate and meeting Sarah who is the prison's doctor. Charlie is in for beating up someone who hurt Rex or something like that (Rex isn't dead, he's like, living with Jesse or Joe, or even Jack, until Charlie gets out) and he's got like, a few months left of his sentence but things are getting worse in the prison so he keeps getting sent to the prison infirmary.

And yes, it would be unethical of them to date, but as Sarah keeps uncovering as string of corruption inside the prison which is one of the reasons Charlie keeps ending up in the infirmary, things get worse for her too, until she almost ends up injured herself. So with Charlie's help (plus the SJPD's), they pretty much uncover all the people behind it, Charlie gets his sentence reduced to time served, Sarah quits and, well, happy ending with them becoming a couple and happy re-uniting with Rex lol

On the one hand, I’m not ready for the season to end (yes, even though it was artificially prolonged through the hellish hiatuses,) but on the other hand I have a shit ton of fic ideas so having no new post-ep inspiration for a while will do me some good.

(This is of course assuming I ever actually write said ideas which…TBD)
