"Yes, it was," Keqing replies calmly, though her brow is deeply furrowed, a tell-tale sign that something is bothering her. "Thank you for having my back, by the way."

They had worked well together against the vishap, with Ganyu distracting it from a distance with well-placed cryo arrows while the Yuheng got up close and personal with the creature. While Keqing could have likely handled the monster herself, the fight had gone much more smoothly with a skilled companion by her side.

What bothered her, though, is that she has never seen a full-grown vishap this close to Liyue Harbor in her lifetime. Occasionally, a lost hatchling would bumble its way toward them on accident but the full-grown creatures tend to avoid the city that had once been under the protection of the Geo Archon. This instance brings forth the question, why is it here?

A brisk swing flicks away the vishap blood bathing her blade and allows the jade’s sheen to take center stage once more. Once her weapon is stowed away, Keqing kneels down by the creature to examine it.

"Ganyu, does anything about this attack—or this creature—seem strange to you?"

Perhaps, with her adeptus blood, Ganyu can sense something she cannot.

Out of politeness for a visitor, Keqing doesn't correct Kaveh's pronunciation. It's hard enough for most foreigners to say and his attempt was fair enough. Besides, anybody that appreciates Liyue cuisine is more than fine in her books.

"I'm glad you enjoy the dish! Many claim it as an example of 'authentic Liyue taste' and it's often treated as a comfort food." Alas, she personally feels the title would be better worn by a seafood dish, but that is a personal bias.

"I'm not familiar with fatteh, though." The Yuheng does her best to mimic Kaveh's pronunciation. "Is that a Sumerian dish? I've never had the opportunity to visit."

It's strange to be around someone who isn't the slightest bit intimidated by her; equal parts refreshing and infuriating, in fact. Hu Tao being so close to her lately still unnerves her, too... It makes her think that she wants something.

When she's done adding the finishing touches to the map spread over her desk, she rolls it up and sets it aside. Hu Tao now has her undivided attention.

She did stare for quite a while on the thick curtains that draped over the window from nearby. Oh that would have been delightfully, clever, hid.....

Ahem! Her attention snapped toward Keqing. A soft almost too innocent smile graced her features.
