On the topic of "canceling is carceral!" and "What about rehabilitation?" I will say this. If your rehabilitation wholly depends on everyone you've harmed with your words or actions forgiving you, you're setting yourself up for failure. The rehabilitation, change, and growth are all for YOU, first and foremost. The people you've hurt have no obligation to forgive you, and that's okay. You have to make the change, not to "stop feeling like the bad guy" but so that you can improve and strive not to harm others in the future. To forgive and be forgiven is work. It's the building of relationships. It's the understanding between you and the people you've harmed. You aren't the victim just because the people you've hurt don't want to do that work. The work to be forgiven is more than the words "I'm Sorry" too. If you think saying, "Sorry for being shitty," means you'll never have to hear about or think about your past actions ever again, you aren't working towards being forgiven. You're working towards your actions being forgotten, and everyone you have harmed will recognize that.

The best apology is a change in behavior and working to be the person who can be forgiven without expecting an immediate pat on the back from people you've hurt. To be truly apologetic, you must understand that you may not be forgiven and be fine with that because you've grown to be better.

You can't be serious. This is a post about a man not giving a shit about a woman the moment she says she doesn't want to fuck him. This post is calling that out, calling out how a ton of men don't give a flying fuck about women or being friends with women as soon as women don't want to have sex with them. There is nothing in that which demonizes trans men and men of color. You are making that up. This post doesn't even mention trans people or men of color. You really read a post that involved a man being shitty to a woman, and other men agreeing with him, and went "uwu this is so mean to men!" And yes, different genders are socialized in different ways! This is basic shit! Saying that men are socialized to be shitty (to women) is the exact opposite of terfism/biological essentialism

So tumblr staff didn't just delete 1 blog of Med's without warning (fairuzfan), they deleted 2. The first blog was helpgazachildren, which was Med's blog to campaign for donation drives for Hussam who distributes basic necessities on the ground in Ghazzah. They have consistently shown proof of acquisition and distribution of goods as results for every donation drive. There is no reason to kill this blog other than to kill the Palestinian children and adults alike that rely on it for survival. Make no mistake, the actions of this company, Tumblr, and its CEO have real life consequences for the people who use it as a lifeline for survival.

That makes up an entire section of the people trying to survive genocide in Ghazzah. And now with both of Med's blogs gone, there is no recourse.

Tumblr is going to be the reason for the death of several Palestinians. And if I'm right in suspecting they're taking my blog down next, this will happen to the groups served by both Mona, and Hussam, and the families who have contacted me through this website and are relying on my fundraising campaigns to get to safety. This is not a minor issue.

Med @fairuzfan’s blog got terminated by tumblr which is obviously unjust for all the people who rely on them for resources on Palestine, but it now leaves Hussam’s helpgazachildren donation drive without a point of communication, and has deleted all previous information Med had shared about the drive.

Please remember to keep donating to helpgazachildren as Hussam’s hard work getting resources to families in Gaza should not have to be hindered while Med is working on getting their blog back 🤍🇵🇸

Will say that I see the "binational democratic state" a lot, even on anarchist threads (which... lol) but genuinely if you think that a binational state in which the status as an "israeli" exists in contrast with the status as a "Palestinian" and you genuinely think an "israeli" political system will allow for the right of return for Palestinians (which the whole plan hinges on) then you are naive at best and at worst, have no real intent in providing Palestinians with any real alternative to self determination and are a liberal zionist wanting to preserve the israeli state.
