Antherina Suraka framed

Here you can see one of my latest pinned and framed moths! I raise them as pets and give them a second life afterwards. This is a madagascar bullseye moth which I am currently raising again because they are such cute little fellas. I will have this moth as well as many more with me on the Leipzig Bookfair at the end of March.

White Moth

Excited to share my latest watercolor painting on my new Holbein watercolor paper. It turns out that the paper might not be the optimal choice for insects since it has a hard time holding the intricate details and sharp lines. 🌸🦋 I am currently working on an indepth series about diffrent watercolor papers and what I think of them. You can find it next month on my KoFi. Springtime really makes me want to draw more flowers and butterflys and dive into the longer days and warmer weather.  If anyone is intrested in purchasin this painting to add to your home decor or as a gift to a nature enthusiast feel free to contact me.

Ruby Tiger Moth Commission

Mandarin Duck & Emu

Fun fact, I never knew mandarin ducks are exotic and 'rare' animals I was just so used to them hanging out at ponds. Turns out they are an invasive species in germany and have a small wild population haha.

Ibis

I know Ibis are consideres as pests in some parts of the world, but I've only ever seen them while on holiday, and just like with seagulls I find their nosy behaviour rather charming. But at the same time I am a person who enjoys feeding seagulls haha.
