it’s crazy how there’s a widely held belief that leftists are more outspoken and likely to “shove their beliefs in people’s faces” meanwhile i work a 9-5 and my middle aged republican coworkers are the ONLY ones making political statements at work. literally scoffing and rolling their eyes at the idea of personal pronouns during meetings or making disparaging comments about student protests for palestine in work group chats. they are the one shoving their bigotry in my face, but i know for a fact that they have not been and will not be reprimanded for making wildly inappropriate comments in a work setting. and when im the only one to reply calling them out (in a professional way) my bosses give my message a little ❤️ like can yall actually DO SOMETHING
