So I’ve been watching Supernatural.  I know, I’m really late to the party and man it was hard to wait, what is it, how many seasons for Castiel to show up? Four?

Anyway, Castiel falling.  Which is mostly me messing around but … you know.

Can't stop thinking about Dean showing Cas Tombstone and Cas barely paying attention to it because he keeps looking at Dean with such an adoring and loving look everytime he gets excited about a certain part of the movie.

jimmy novak is a fascinating character to me and at least 80% of the reason for that is that no one in their right mind would ever cast misha collins to play that character. like, misha played him because he was already playing cas but if they had written a guy like jimmy without cas existing first they would never have cast a guy like misha to play him. it's not his type. and it makes jimmy come off really strange in an interesting way.

I know the superhell memes were really pervasive but we do in fact realize that Cas was not dead in 15.20 right? We understand that canonically, Cas was raised from The Empty… right?

When Bobby is talking about the new heaven, he says “Cas helped” build it. Confirming that Cas had been resurrected by Jack.

#i mean i think the prevalence of thinking cas is still dead is the chuck won theory of it all #and not taking bobby's word for it bc we never actually see cas again #and we don't see him in the winchesters with bobby and jack #(which i think was the right choice bc now they have options for how they want to actually play things in the future) #but yea like. if he is really out of the empty like we're meant to think he is then i could totally see him ghosting dean for a bit #but i also think. idk how time in heave works but #i really don't think if cas were out by the time dean died he would've just. let him die #esp after sacrificing himself to save dean #idk! i can see it both ways. that he's actually still in the empty or he's actually out #but the not saving dean from the rebar is a sticking point for me personally in believing he's really out #<< prev #hard agree

dean breaks into the empty. no one can talk him out of going. he storms in and it’s dark and terrifying but on the horizon he sees the outline of something familiar. the sleek black and chrome lines of her, and soft music drifting from miles away. when he finally gets to her, what feels like weeks have passed, but there she is - his baby - exactly where she shouldn’t be, and right there in the passenger seat, sound asleep, is castiel. his head resting on the window, his hands folded neatly in his lap. the mixtape dean made him is in the tape deck, robert plant’s voice sounding like a lullaby somehow in this dark, empty place. just as he’s reaching out to touch him a voice over his shoulder makes dean turn, and the empty stands a few feet away, surveying them with what almost looks like pity: “it’s the only way he’d stay asleep.”
