Poshmark is a reselling app that allows users to easily buy/sell womens, mens, and kids clothing. After setting up your account, you can list your new or gently loved items for whatever price you chose, bargain with other users, and earn 80% profit when your listed item sells! Posh even pre-makes and emails you a printable label to make shipping to your buyer a breeze. You can also earn $5 for every friend you invite to buy and sell on the app! You can cash in your earnings at any time with a safe direct deposit or through a check sent in the mail.
I took advantage of all the money making programs posh offers and earned just over $128 in my first week selling, my steps below will detail exactly how I did that! So clear your closet of everything you don’t wear, and grab your phone, it’s time to make some extra cash!
1. The first step will be to sign up at poshmark.com or with the app using code GGSELLSTHINGS to earn $5 automatically! (we’ll both benefit!)
(Choose a username that’s easy to read and looks professional! It creates a sense of credibility and is more aesthetically pleasing. @Katiexx_Bugx_94 might be too distracting and hard to remeber, opt for something like @katiescloset94 instead!)
Photograph your items well! Natural sunlight, white backgrounds, or cute pictures of the item on gain the most attention. Put time into this, the cover photo will determine if a buyer is going to click or not, make this first impression count!
2. Create a following that matters! Spend about an hour searching for, sharing, and liking posts of items you would buy! Follow those closets too, odds are youll have similar tastes and they make become a buyer! If you find a closet that you L O V E, click their “followers” tab and follow everyone that follows them, it draws attention to your page and they already likely to like your closet if they like he one you found! I followed 600 people and gained 622 followers in my first week.
3. START POSTING! The more listings, the better! People can make offers to bargain your listed price, so be sure you look at the “your earnings” feature right below where you enter your asking price to make sure its worth it to you! I listed 32 items ranging in price from $9-60. The average price of my sold items is about $10-20.
4. Share other peoples listings! People will often share your items back, and this gives your listings more exposure!
5. Reply to comments on already sold items (these can be found when you adjust the filters when searching for an item) to let previously interested buyers know that you have the same/similar item still available!
6. Join parties and share your items a few times a day! Posh hosts themed parties every day (jeans party, jewelry party, specific designers, etc.) so be sure to RSVP when you get the invites to be notified when they start! You can also reshare your items to your followers any time of day.
By combining these different tips I sold 9 items in one week, earning me $103.45 without ever leaving my bed! I also invited 5 friends to join the app, which earned me an additional $25, totaling $128.45 in just 7 days from my bed!
Share this post with a friend you know that’d like to make $100 in 7 days!
