Abused Its Employees Abused Their Animators Literally has a Frat-Bro work culture there Openly Homophobic, Transphobic, etc. Literally used their Transphobia against a Transgender Voice Actor Gave said Transgender Voice Actor a slur as a nickname and later on a NEW ONE in order for people not to notice. And the list goes on and on.

If its anything we need to talk about this. Yes I hate Rooster Teeth from the bottom of my heart but I will say this.

RWBY Beyond is basically a "This was happening during Volume 9" kind of thing and that it was going to focus on the minor characters with some major characters cast. What I expected from it was: More Character Development Amongst the Minor Cast Major Things Being Answered or Revealed (Well this did happen in Episode One with a New Character Reveal) Further Things to be Answered Or Raising Newer Questions One Episode focusing on the villains. What We Got: Stuff that takes place post V9 Minor Character Development Ruby getting treated like a Jesus Saint when Vacuo is suffering from a LITERAL refugee crisis No Villain Focused Episode Barely any questions getting answered. Overall a "This happened During V9" except its nowhere near that.

RE-WRITING RWBY: F*CKING VACUO Part One.

Alright with the reveal of Vacuo and a "colonization arc" which made me facepalm so fucking hard. I might as well pull up my world-building pants and show up and show-out. So lets get fuckin' active.

(Art by Advarcher) Vacuo. Known to many around Remnant as the Kingdom That Embraces Freedom. This desert kingdom is the embodiment of Freedom of Expression. Showing that people can be happy here, aligned as one. Regardless of Gender, Sexuality, Race or Nationality. However beneath its surface the kingdom itself does hide a few secrets within the capital of Arthtar including a very much internalized hatred towards one of the kingdoms.

To start, during the Age of Antiquity. Vacuo was once a lush landscape filled with forests and life alike until its end came when Salem had led her uprising against the God of Light and Darkness ending Vacuo and sending it to what many survivors call it: The Age Of Sorrowful Darkness. Which many of the Great Mages of Vacuo had attempted to create or attempt to bring back any form of life what so ever. Only for it to fail...

Finally when all hope seemed lost, One of the Great Mages known as Arthtar would pour not just all of her magic but her very life force into a section of Vacuo thus spawning life. Even so the Titan of the Oasis' would also assist spawning many many Oasis' across the desert wasteland as a means of aid and succor, while the dust from the moon would hopefully bring the land back to what it once was.... or so many had thought.

Thus when Mantle had arrived to conquer Vacuo, did they open themselves up to their icy counterparts. Only to be met with flames of death and destruction. Despite this defense they were pushed back further and further to which the King of Vacuo called for aid from the recently defected Brumel and Vale for assistance to which they would answer the cry for assistance. Thus it was marked in the Great War as the Vacuan Offensive where many many battles took place and would birth Vacuo's elite guard. The Warriors Of Vacuo.

As many would fight and die, the King of Vacuo would go to meet with the Titan of Leadership and Justice in order to speak with them to grant permission for the Relic of Destruction. To which the Titan warned the King that should he use it they'd better be ready for the consequences to come... and thus desparate the King would use it during the Final Battle against the Mantleans which was in a stalemate currently.... thus...

It was remembered that day a GREAT CANYON was brought forth from that sword a canyon that irreversibly changed Vacuo... to which many call it the Badlands. Others call it a Kings Desperate Move.

However, even with such a great move the consequences to Vacuo did not end there. As many had died and the capital was damaged. To which those who survived the fighting stayed behind to help rebuild Arthtar to back into its glorious capital filled with flowing waters to represent the flow of time. Pathways leading to and from the desert representing the times of struggle and relief that comes with it, and lastly the very Capitol building of Samir Arthtar. Representing her brave sacrifice to bring back a piece of Vacuo's former glory.

Yet, even with the reparations Vacuo's damages were not done yet as years after companies would invade Vacuo for their dust supply, evicting many many tribes and families from their homes. Leaving the general public enraged most prominently the Schnee Dust Company as many Hunters disagreed with the SDC's motives for mining in Vacuo... others agreed with them.

Yet for a small section of Hunters they would not sit silently as the SDC took more and more from them. Thus the Great Dust Wars of Vacuo began against the entire kingdom of Vacuo and the Schnee Dust Company. Every bandit , hunter, or tribal warrior put aside their differences and agreed that a divided Vacuo is not a Free Vacuo. In which the war ended with a MASSIVE victory over their Atlesian counterparts who preferred order over freedom. Onto the very future while many do say that Vacuo has secrets for any researcher others wonder who is the REAL leader of Vacuo besides its Grand Councilman Theodore....

What in the sweet mother-of-fuck did I just. Okay naw. I'm on Miles and Kerry's ass for this one. Cause if we're talking desert food why couldn't their stupid asses literally JUST literally take the time to research actual desert foods done by ACTUAL PEOPLE FROM THE MIDDLE EAST.

How about for example one of the most earliest forms of bread in ancient times! Lavash!

And heres how I would implement it into Vacuo. Vacuan Flatbread: Once an ancient bread made during the ancient times in Vacuo, this recipe was thought to be lost to time before reappearing during the Great War on the Vacuan front when a random soldier from the Vacuan Defense Force, who was in fact a descendant from a Ancient Vacuan baker who preserved the recipe for a thousand years managed to bring this baked good back from the brink of being forgotten. Usually this is made with just either goats milk, salt or others. Pairs well with sauces as well.

Or how about Sfiha!

Vacuan Meat Pies: From a distance a certain red and black-haired hunter may mistake this sugar cookies with a chocolate topping. But up close they will realize that this is a simple meat pie of ground beef placed on top of a circular piece of Vacuan Flat bread.

Or how about Meygoo Dopiyazeh!!

Spicy-Prawn Curry: This filling curry can usually be found within Shades many family-owned restaurants. As the prawns are caught by the local Vacuan fishermen who travel to or beyond the Vacuan coast to gain enough fish to fullfill these orders. For many Vacuans this is a filling treat to them... but to others a challenge due to the amount of spices they add on for heat...most surprisingly a certain heiress and her sister did this as part of a dare..........they lasted two seconds. While a yellow-haired huntress who dared them to try ate the whole bowl and lasted much longer than she did. While a cat faunus ate five BOWLS and shown no change at all.

SERIOUSLY. ITS THAT EASY TO DO SOME RESEARCH AND PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER.

"Sustenance and Diet

Vacuans are known to call sand their "local spice", as it is very hard to get it out of their food."

My god Miles and Kerry interact with the internet- people who live in deserts have ways to easily keep sand out their food, this really shows they never interacted with anyone outside of their white suburbain bubbles. Am I surprised? Hell no but I am embarrassed they wrote this and didn't think it would sound really stupid and sus.

UPCOMING EVENT REVEAL

"Zek! Honey?" Atya said walking into his room who was just sleeping with Ergis on the floor sleeping as well. With a little smile on her face after everything Zek had been through especially with this last mission to take a MUCH NEEDED extended break. He is brave indeed but he can push himself a bit too much. But after everything he did need the break.. but that was not going to stop her from telling him the news.

Thus did she walk up and sit right next to him rubbing his cheek and kissing it lightly watching her son wake up. "Mm... Ma..? What is it?" He said whining as he sat up looking at her.

"Well.. I have some news for you." She said handing him the poster with eyes widening shock at what he was reading.

"The Yhyakh Festival?! It's almost here!!!?!?!" He said with shock.

"Mmhmm! This means you can finally participate in your first Dygyn!" She said with Zek's eyes lighting up as Ergis woke up standing right next to Atya and Zek also getting a look at the poster as well.

EVENT: YHYAKH FESTIVAL For those unware. Yhyakh is a festival celebrated by the Sahkhan people of Yakutia or Sakha on June 21st and does not end until the day after next. To which this festival is meant to celebrate a day of rebirth and joy throughout the summer while also re-connecting with nature after the long winter there.

The festival will contain:

The Games Of Dygyn- An Athletic Competition Consisting of Three different competitions throughout the two days.

Day one will consist of the Triple Jump Competition, Wrestling, and the Sahkhan Turntable to test ones jumping length, Strength, and Flexibility.

The Final Day's Competition will consist of: Archery, Stick Wrestling , and Boulder lifting.

Whoever wins shall be crowned the winner of the games and will receive fiften-thousand lien for winning.

Other events include: Ceremonial Dancing Food Homemade Jewelry and Clothing and MUCH MORE!

This is art by advarcher done in 2021 on their deleted deviant art page, you can't find these pictures anywhere else. before we even see Vacuo- and this is the canon version of the same place.

A dusty one color location. The fanart conveys a much more lived in world than what you'd read on the wiki. On the wiki it's described as a horrible place to live, everyone lives in nomadic villages that constantly move, which makes finding loved ones hard to find, and the consistent "This place sucks to live" while basing locations off Egyptian pyramids, and nomadic culture which is why indigenous people partook it feels like an idiots idea of what living in POC locations is like.

It comes prejudice, and while RT WAS prejudice (Never forget Mika) I doubt they even been outside of white suburbia locations to make such odd claims. I feel the fan location is something I want to explore, learn about and even protect! I can't in my right mind think why RT would make something highly based on POC cultures and locations and decide to write it as a lawless, hate filled place where everyone is so miserable that they have shirts in universe that say they hate being there.

A fan made it more interesting, diverse, better looking, with a single image. Ruby looks happy to be there, there's plenty of lush greenery, mimicking alot of real life locations, there's color, things that catch the eye in that image, it's big- there seem to be bones and structures- Yang in the other image is by an outpost that looks partially taken back by the elements, it's fascinating what the brain can make up; again fans made this up.

Hands wrapping around the others waist while he did so making sure that they were comfortable. He would also nip at Hax's bottom lip while gently gasping and wanting to take it slow and easy with them....
