December 28, 2022 - Wednesday | Winter 8/88

Lovely day today. I picked up yarn for new projects, hijacked a white tile from my dad to use as a paint palette, and repotted my cutie into a pretty pot. I may not like the winter but the cold is nice tbh I feel like there’s a sweet spot of cold level that makes one feel alive ~ All the trees outside are bare but there was this one tree with berries!

here’re some of my bujo lists feat my current skincare favs! I also wrote my social studies test today and although the time was a little bit too short I think it went well (i hope ahaha). 

april study challenge: Do you like to snack while studying? If so, what sort of snacks do you like?

I don’t really like to eat while studying because it kinda distracts me but I like to eat a snack when I study for a longer time and while taking a break. Most of the time I eat fruits (apples, strawberries…) but sometimes I like smth sweet too.

Happy Saturday! I got Speechify recently and it's actually helping me a ton with reading when I'm tired (which is pretty much all the time). I'm only using the free version but it's still been pretty good so far.

- Worked on finding the causes for error in physics lab data (almost have specific numbers for friction and small initial velocities but still working on it)

- Finished up and turned in two English assignments

- Finished reading Earthlings by Sayaka Murata

- did weekly chores

For some reason, there is always that one course (that I don't particularly like and) I don't look at until I'm six weeks behind. So, for the next 2-3 days, youth criminology will be taking over my life ...

However, I am enjoying the sunshine on my desk! It's been a while since I've had that! ☀️

So many thoughts, so little time. Just know that after beaming with joy seeing my friend yesterday I stayed up way too long being anxious about my translation skills. It's a new day so I let yesterday rest and start with a clean slate.

Starting the new year with a bit of cat 🐈 dentistry 🦷 reading 📖 It’s been super cold the past week 🥶so i cover 🧣 my dog up on her night walks, tonight she was a red velvet cupcake 🧁 I absolutely love to take the late afternoon public transport 🚌🚏during winters. There’s no rush hour crowd and the 🌞 on my skin feels so much better than the chilly january air. 💨

some nights i lay in bed and think about how scary it would be to die on mars because your body wouldn't decompose, but rather mummify, due to the lack of bacteria (that wasn't already on your alive body) as mars doesn't harbour any bacteria on its surface. your body would lay there for millions of years until it finally gets destroyed by radiation.

my heart goes out to the brave astronaut who will be the first to die on mars.
