something else to consider in the whole "let's not turn the security guard incident into a chant/bracelet" thing is whether we really think that taylor herself would want to be reminded of that situation at every show she plays going forward. security is there to keep her and everyone else safe and give her peace of mind and it must have been really horrible for her to watch that situation unfold.

i feel like tonight was a turning point in the post-tumblr/current-tiktok era for taylor like i felt more connected to taylor tonight than past eras shows and i think shed say the same!! taylor giving her 22 hat to and doing the bejeweled dance with mikael!! and taylor basically stopping bad blood to defend a fan being mistreated!! and the photos of 20,000+ fans outside the stadium just to hear her live…. the grandeur of the eras tour could easily make it feel less and less personal and yet she keeps proving to us that no matter how many fans she gets, she will always think of us as individual humans to love and not a statistic…. so special and so hard to maintain that connection and yet taylor makes it seem effortless
