Bird Symbolism

So I was looking out my window and saw two birds and the idea of making a list of symbolism associated with types of birds came to mind. My mom always taught me if you see an animal -especially if they are doing something out of the ordinary- you should take it as an omen. So here’s a list of some basic birds, some of the associations are personal but I hope you like it!

Blue Jay-the truth will be revealed, high energy, playfulness, clarity and communication.

Cardinal-hope, joy, good health, some associate them with angels or deceased love ones, passion and warmth.

Crow-often associated with magic and witches, transformation, power, intelligence and mystery.

Duck-friendships, new friends, happiness, good fortune and protect against negative energies “water off a ducks back” :)

Eagle-power, leadership, freedom, adventure, breaking free.

Hawk- common as spirit guides, courage, protection, and awareness.

Hummingbird- I adore hummingbirds and often associate them with faeries. Creativity, joy, love and beauty. Can be a sign that you are moving too fast in life and need to take a break.

Owl- wisdom, associated with the goddess Athena, intuition, spiritual exploration, change, observation and intelligence.

Raven- associated with the nordic god Odin, mystery, magic, fae magic, knowledge, mischieve, and can be seen as a death omen (but can also mean change)

Robin- luck, prosperity, good things will happen, joy and your hard work will soon be rewarded.

Sparrow- associated with Aphrodite, new love and relationships, fertility, team work, time of productivity and stop procrastinating.

Stork-long life, prosperity, fertility, new life, wisdom, take time to relax, motherhood and luck.

Swan- also associated with Aphrodite and Apollo, gracefulness, beauty, music, poetry, creativity, loyalty, and long lasting relationships.

Vulture-death, cleaning up other people’s messes, renewal, patient, use your resources and be perceptive.

Woodpecker- hard work, take advantage of new oppurtunities, attention, progress and determination.

Tip! If you are repeatedly seeing a certain animal or have a strong liking to an animal it could be a way a spirit guide is trying to get your attention (or that animal is just really common in your area lol )

Chlorine analysis

I recently watched the Chlorine MV and at first sight it was just “cute” to me( i mean, cmon… have you seen Ned <{ • . • }>!?). But let's be real, this is #TwentyOnePilots so there is probably a deep meaning in this video. So i decided to read some explanation/analysis blogs and watching loads of videos and none of them fully made sense to me (to me personally, we all have different opinions).

So, let start with Tyler “sippin’ on straight chlorine”. In my opinion it was as a sign of clearing himself, his mind, and his music from all the bad stuff that we’ve seen and heard on Blurryface. So he is clearing himself from all the negativity that he felt while Blurry was with him and becoming a new person and creating more new music.

Second thing is “ what chlorine, the pool and the water in that pool actually is?”. Most of the people said that chlorine is the beat, but in my opinion it’s the music itself. And the pool is all the info/letters/pics we’ve been receiving during the hiatus. So in the beginning we see that Josh and Tyler purring a bit of water in the empty pool (i think that the empty pool is like social media on first months of the hiatus, when we had no info about anything) so it’s that time when they started posting about Clancy and Trench, than they had pool field with water, so it was the end of the hiatus when they already posted snick pics about “Jumpsuit”, “pet cheetah” and when the eye fully opened. Next Tyler and Josh were pouring chlorine in the pool in small amount. At that point it’s the time when they were releasing fist songs (Jumpsuit, levitate, my blood, nico and the niners). Also in this video Josh is also purring the “chlorine”in to the pool, and in some songs we see Josh as a songwriter next to Ty, and that is another support to my chlorine=music version. Than they were pushing the whole canister to the pool and breaking the pipe and purring the whole canister in to the pool. So that is when they put the whole album out.

About the slow part. He’s singing there “I'm so sorry, I forgot you Let me catch you up to speed I'm so sorry, I forgot you Let me catch you up to speed”. I think he is talking about the hiatus and now he is catching us up with everything that happened and in the interviews tells us about the creation path of this album.

And now to the drained part of the MV. It’s probably the saddest part. So in the last scene of the MV Ty and Ned are sitting in the drained pool. In the last song of the album (“ Leave the city”) the last words are “They know that it's almost over” and “They know What I mean”. At some interview (i just saw a clip on the gram from some radio interview) Tyler said ( i’m really sorry that i hv to say this) that they will probably release few more albums and they will be done. So the drained pool represents the end of the trench era or the end of TOP it self.

And the thing thing is Ned <{ • . • }>.

So in my opinion this little fren’ is us, clique. In the beginning when guys purring a bit of water into the pool (posting some things on dema web) Ned doesn’t really like it or pretty sceptical about that situation, same as when they started the dema website not all of people were happy about the whole drama about it and a lot of people were just like “what the hell is that…?”.

So when they filled the pool up and poured some chlorine in (hiatus finished, 4 songs released) Ned seemed a bit more interested, but it was steel not enough and he shook his head in disappointment. When those three songs were released clique was confused and disappointed that it sounded different and very pop, so again, we weren’t fully satisfied. When Tyler and Josh rolled that canister over to the pool and field the pool with chlorine then Ned jumped into the pool and was happy and started growing his horns out (developing and learning). When trench was fully released clique was SO HAPPY and een with time we love this album more and more.

In the end of the video Tyler gives Ned a sip of chlorine and Ned looks a bit shocked. Well if that scene represents the end of era (or even TOP) and chlorine is Tyler's’ and Josh's’ music i think that Ty is telling us that we will learn alot more about them and their music.

Last thing is about Ned’s appearance. In the beginning of the video Ned is dirty and his fur wasn’t fluffy, and in the end of the video he is all clean and fluffy))). So if Ned=clique, during the hiatus we all were influenced by Blurryface era and that era wasn’t the happiest one so after listening through the whole album where Tyler got rid of Blurry and Clancy escaped Dema clique is now “clear” from all that “horror” that we were leaving through Blurryface era and Clancy’s escape from that terrible place.

Conclusion

So this video is about the whole path of creating and putting album out and relationship between creator and TOP clique.
