When it comes to enthusiasm in honing her skills in her attempts to learn about going after prey, this young spirited princess always gave it her all. Her ever watchful eyes constantly followed prey movement.
The wonderment that young Meera had for the forest around her always amazed us as we observed her with her mother and brother. Here she steps out of the dark shadows, as her family rested.

A wildlife habitat is more than the sum total of it all-forests, their species, wetlands in it, even the flagship & key species that provide an umbrella of protection to all other flora and fauna in the context of modern conservation that tend to have stricter legislation when it comes to focusing on the protection of these species. You remove one or more of these elements from the balance, and it could lead to a cataclasm in that ecosystem
As seen here, even a carpet of fallen trees becomes an important part of the habitat. Becoming an ecosystem of their own, as they support vast number of lifeforms that include insect and larvae. These become food source for other fauna including birds. As these fallen flora decompose, they enrich the forest floor with nutrients that continue to feed the circle of life.
Technical Note: Filming/photography in the golden or magic hours as cinematographers and photographers call it, lights up the frame in the good ole way with wider dynamic range, especially if some of that diffused lighting falls on the subject and the rest of the frame has mottled light.
