Mori, Hisayasu.

Hisayasu (or ‘Yasu’ for short) is essentially the one who introduced Hinata to Shige’s gang. Yasu is not a very strong man; in fact, he’s a rather timid individual – the kind you’d not expect to be an avid criminal. It was his shy nature that made him perfect for remaining inconspicuous. 

It was in the middle of a bar brawl that she had met him. She had dissuaded a few men from dragging Yasu outside to ‘teach him manners’, and Yasu had taken a liking to what he called her ‘stoic charm’. He persuaded her to come meet his childhood best friend turned gang leader, and see if she wanted to join. They became awkward friends, with Yasu often coming to her when in need of aid.

Since her departure from the gang, Yasu is the only one who’s kept in touch with her. He knows not to mention anyone else, and they just check on how each other are doing. He helps her avoid the gang’s movements.

His quirk doesn’t have a name because I’m lazy/uncreative, but it’s the ability to shift his molecular structure to make himself more liquid-like; he is able to turn himself info a jellied form. It’s not a good combat quirk, and is only used for scouting reasons.

(What’s this?) Eyes glance skyward ‘pon feeling a sudden (but light) weight placed atop raven locks, lips tipped downwards in an expression of confusion. She’d not seen what the other held within his grasp, and such a notion was thoroughly unexpected. When gaze is met with petals of pale blue hue, lips only seem to further dip with perplexity; pale hand raises from its place in her lap, tips brushing light against the ring of blossoms. When finally does Hinata register just what the other had placed on her head, expression is quick to phase from confusion to joy. A smile of so bright it could rival the sun is cast towards her companion, pink dusting cheeks. The gift has greatly pleased her – such a thing is clear as day. Feeling at the flora once more, finally does she provide proper response in the form of vocalized words.

               ❝Thank you for coming with me to round up the strays, Mai-chan.❞

Sincere is the statement that flows from parted tiers, paired perfectly with a smile on that gentle face. Both hands push a cart stacked with cat carriers, cat food, and plain black collars. Lately she’s been getting word of a litter of kittens prowling an abandon building, but work has been bustling and Hinata’s just been unable to make the trip to collect them. But today was slow, and so the clinic was able to be left to just the nurses in her employ while she made the trip.

But she wasn’t alone; no, she had fine company in the form of a very feline-like young lady. Smiling again at her companion, Hinata continues to speak with a small hum of voice. They walk in almost utter darkness, broken by the brilliant light of several industrial lanterns she’d picked up from the store just the day before.

               ❝I thought you might be perfect for the job since we will be having to find kittens in such a dark building. Just be careful; they are most likely feral.❞

"Oi doc. I'm back.." Ookami called, opening the door. There was currently a small dog with his head poking out of his uniform jacket.

Blue hued eyes lift from the file stretched out before her ‘pon hearing a voice, instead resting on the familiar face that approaches. Lips twitch and twist into a half smile, though it stretches further into a full-blown one once Hinata catches sight of the canine her young companion carries. Standing straight from her perch against the counter, hands descend to rest in lab coat pockets.

               ❝Another friend, 'Kami?❞

The question is spoke with a voice full of laughter, followed quickly by short and soft chuckles. Moving 'round the counter, she approaches to take a quick examination of the small dog.

               ❝Where did you find this one?❞

Drip                 drop

Red falls down her face in thick rivets, coating porcelain skin in the angry color; some curls down her jaw to reach her neck, while the smaller lines lead into drops on the pavement beneath their feet. Her forehead aches, burns even where flesh lays sundered and gaping, skull revealed to night air, but hidden beneath gushing blood. Tattooed phalanges raise to countenance with all intents of wiping away the droplets, but prove to only further smear. But she seems oblivious to the mess that is her face, attention doted wholly upon the teenage figure before her.

Never did Hinata expect another to stumble upon a brawl; and never did she expect someone to step in between she and a gaggle of men when it seemed she was on the losing side. Her hero? A teenager (she couldn’t be more than sixteen) with a familiar and scraped face -- had she seen her somewhere before? Together they stand, an odd pair in a garbage-riddled alley way, both showing clear signs of a scuffle. Embarrassment lies heavy in her chest, mixing with the pain of an old injury;

How could you let a girl defend you and put herself in danger? 

Mind taunts through the lingering haze from her cranial injury, and she continues to kick herself internally for the mistake. With another swipe of fingers across her brow, bloodied lips part and release what can only be described as an exasperated sigh.

               ❝Let’s get out of here before they decide to bring friends.❞
