Dungeon Meshi cast in order of weirdness:
Chilchuck - Chilchuck is just a regular dude. obvs he has a degree of weirdness due to being (presumably??) a career adventurer but i think if you took him out of that setting he'd just be a regular & chill guy
Senshi - Senshi is eccentric moreso than weird. i think if he really wanted to he could go above ground and socialise and act like a regular guy. he is simply choosing not to do that.
Marcille - Marcille thinks she is the one normal person in the group. she is wrong.
Laios - jesus fuck where do i start

I see that you're also a fan of Akudama Drive.
I've only recently watched it and it was awesome! The art style reminded me of Danganronpa, which helped set up my expectations - lots of violence, gruesome deaths, and pretty much everyone died 😅. There's also that deep criticism of society with how little it takes to get arrested and the disproportionate punishments that puts into question if everyone labelled as an akudama deserved it. There are those who did deserve it like Doctor and Cutthroat but I think that added some nuance. I loved the animation and the fight scenes. The lighting can be so complex like with Brawler's last fight in the rain under the theme park lights and lightning. The 3D effects aren't jarring at all and I love the angular shots like whenever Courrier's bike is in the air. Most of the death scenes were legit saddening. Especially Swindler's, I am loving how she started off as an ordinary person claiming to be a Swindler to survive only to end up sacrificing herself, claiming to be an ordinary person as part of the greatest swindle of all... I'd recommend it with a lot warnings however. Like, don't get too attached to the characters, as I've said, everyone but the literal immortals die in the end.

You deserve people in your life who think you are a big deal. No competition, no backhanded comments, no jealously, no comparison, no hate just simply “I love you and there is nobody like you and there will only ever be one of you” type energy
