"Your hair...I'll believe it," he says with a smile. Sun's seen everything and for someone whose hair can make clones and such, it wasn't a far-fetched thing to believe that Wang Yi's hair in his current life would be magic.

"Oh, you know," Sun waves his hand. "Nicolette is here. So is Zhilan and Break." He knows THEY'VE missed him. Shit, Sun has missed Wang Yi just as much. "Eiden's been here too. He'll be ecstatic to hear that you're back. Maybe even a little surprised by your magic hair."

"But as for your growth spurt, aren't you passed that age already though? Something tells me you'll be shorter than me for a long time." Oh, he's cocky alright!

"My hair is magic, I don't need tips," Wang Yi says with a straight face. Is he lying though? Who knows.

"...hahah, who's 'we' though, seriously? Don't keep me in suspense."

He has a good idea after checking the contacts list, but he still wants to hear it from Sun's mouth. It's possibly an even better way than tracking down each of the names one by one.

"Anyways, I'm still in the middle of my growth spurt this time. I might end up taller than you, so don't get too cocky, tch."

Oh, he can't help but laugh. Not at her, but just at the reaction. "I wouldn't do that. Though, I think he'd be flattered if anything." Though Nezha had been pretty popular in the past, hadn't he? Sun wonders if he was popular on Earth. In this body of his. Hm.

Ooooh, he outed himself. WELL, not outed. It's not a secret if you know the story and it seems almost EVERYONE knows the story. Never mind that though. He blinks a few times, "I see." So she was an angel of some sort? A divine being? OR someone who could connect to those in heaven.

"Doesn't it feel nice when you know you're not the only one? Can't help but be excited even if it isn't something to be excited about." Something about not feeling alone in a world where you felt alone.

"Oh my lord, please don't," Ari mutters, bringing a hand to shield her face as if she can preemptively stop such a thing from happening. "I don't want him thinkin' I'm weirdly oglin' him or nothin'..."

Ari's not surprised to be corrected, though she can't help but crack a small smile at the way he talks about him.

"Oh- no, th' one here, darlin'. I think if I got stuck in ice back home, I'd file a complaint directly with management." Her finger points skyward as she says 'management', wiggling it a bit for emphasis.

"Though... why'd ya sound so excited about that? Can't imagine it'd be fun-?"

"mm, more or less." What is that supposed to mean? Is he pulling Wang Yi's leg with that comment? "Looks like someone's gotten shorter, but I did get taller for sure." A lot had happened and he's not quite sure why his size even changed. Must be all the stress (even though it doesn't work like that.)

"I have plenty of hair tips if you ever need 'em." Though knowing Nicolette, she probably has a plethora of tips on how nice her hair is!

"...."

"We missed you."

Something else could be the posture, the air, or the lightness to his steps. Wang Yi knows enough to get he's different, but even he can't tell after a decade of living in this body.

"So it is you. Sun."

"Thanks, but combing it can be a pain. Did you get taller?" More like I got shorter, I think?

Conversation clicks into place like always as he settles his self between the cracks. This was, at least, familiar.

Wang Yi's voice pulls Sun right out of his thoughts. His tail curls upward and his head turns to look over his shoulder. Sure enough, as expected, is the familiar man. Though, he's changed. Not much physically, aside from the hair length, but something else.

"Like what you did to your hair, Wang Yi."

"??? Eiden, are you oogle-eyeing Nezha? You might get lucky, but he's difficult. Like the final boss or something in a game." Oh right, Eiden isn't asking about that probably. "Believe it or not, we weren't friends at the beginning. I'd say we were enemies to rivals and then suddenly Nezha became my closest friend. There's.....A lot of guilt in me for what I've done and what I continued to do after. I'm making up for it, but how do you make up for such a large crime? How do I repay for such a large sacrifice? A price he paid for my wrong?"

"Mary Sue didn't remember me. The last time she was here, she didn't remember who I was, but I think that's for the best. It was for her own protection and she did it because, well, you know how I was back then. I hurt her and Mary Sue was the most important person in my life and I treated her like...." There's so much guilt. So much of it.

"Did you know that she wanted love? The kind that only looked at her and loved her and Mary Sue was deserving of all of it. Something I couldn't give her. But....she'd always give me something. Anything I ever wanted." And he couldn't give her the one thing she wanted.

freedom

"You know how much freedom is important to me. my journey was for the promise of freedom and even when I lost my memory and lived in that hellhole, freedom was what I craved even if I wasn't sure exactly what that meant. It's still something I look for. Even here where I can practically do anything I want. I have freedom, but not in the way I want 100%. Does that make sense?"

duty

"There's always going to be some sense of duty for me, I think. the need to do right in everything I do and a lot of the time it didn't matter HOW I achieved it as long as it was right." He's definitely been working on that. Learning that that kind of method wasn't correct was a learning experience.

memory

To admit this to Nezha or not is difficult. Still, the man asked and the man will receive an answer. Sun exhales and lowers his head, closing his eyes. "I get scared that I might lose everything again. A lot of it came to me at once and then some more after, but I don't think it was the heavens doing. I think it was the Stars doing or something. At both times, it was a different period during my time here. I don't know...I guess if memories could have been brought back to me, they could be taken back...That's what I fear. I don't want to lose them again." He's come too far. He couldn't forget everyone again.

There were no pictures of Nezha and himself considering where they came from and then what happened on Earth. There hadn't been a chance to take any pictures, so...maybe having a picture with him would be nice? It'd be the first.

He doesn't get a word in when Nezha pulls him along toward some pink tulips. "They match. Your hair and all that," he says with a smirk. "Here, let me take a picture." He pulls out his phone and aims it toward Nezha.

"This place with all its flowers, kind of reminds me of back home."

"Don't you just mean a picture with me?" Nezha jokes. Come to think of it, he hadn't checked if the host had a pond. It was probably too early in the season for lotuses, anyways.

Clearing his throat, he sees some pink tulips and grabs Sun's wrist to drag him that way.

"Sure, these seem good."

Whatever the case, it was good that Sun had made friends while he was here. Anything was better than the crap he went through back home. Heck, had Sun even seen flowers there?

Sun chuckles and shakes his head. Honestly, the moment Nezha has all his arms, the moment Sun is going to have A time. "yeah, I guess the old age is catching up to you too," he teases playfully.

"Let's go get you something to drink."

And Sun knows just the place. He'll lead them there and enjoy some nice refreshments with his friend!

Sometimes Sun changes so quickly it makes him dizzy, especially when it's been years since the guy's had free use of his powers.

"You'd better not," he mock-threatens. "I can't grow back limbs as well as I used to right now."

All that aside, he's freely reaching out to tousle Sun's hair while taking full advantage of their different heights.

"Chasing after you made me thirsty. You wanna grab some drinks?"

"Yeah, that's the one. She was really good at picking out this kind of thing," he says gesturing to his entire self. If it weren't for her, he'd probably be lost with his outfit choice. Sure, Eiden was there to help and so was Nicolette, but...well, suppose Mary Sue would always have a soft place in his heart.

"Heh, well what can I say? It is my home and I'd rather be a fragrant monkey." Mm, that brings him back.

"Want a picture? With the flowers?" At the corners of his eyes, he can see what section of people dancing, others taking pictures, and others playing some games. There's a bunch of others who are just chatting it up.

Nezha stops slurping his drink to raise his brows. "Same friend that gave you the shampoos and stuff?" The last thing he expected was someone choosing Sun to be semi-beauty rep. Though he's definitely dressed the part today...

"It's different, but it's not bad," he replies honestly.

"Kinda feels like you're walking 'round as a mountain of fruit and flowers in the flesh."

"You're right. I AM a monkey and you DO get mad at my face," He rolls his eyes and swats at Nezha's hand a little too slowly when flicked.

"And you're lucky this monkey didn't bite your finger off."

With that being said, he shifts into a golden tamarin, hops on Nezha's shoulder, and over to the other shoulder only to then hop right off to shift back into his sunny ol' self.

Seeing the handful of Sun in his palm, Nezha sighs and gives up. "You're a monkey, not a cat."

He takes the key and pockets it again—this time in one of the inner pockets of his jacket, just in case.

"I get mad at your face just fine so don't flatter yourself, fuzzbutt." And taking advantage of their proximity one more time, Nezha reaches out to flick Sun on the forehead.

"Or something," he says with a shrug. He doesn't know the guy much to open up about liking flowers and having learned the names and symbols for a lot of them. It's also a preferred gift of his to receive!

"But I don't think my collection of flowers comes anywhere close to the hostess'. She has quite the collection of them."

"Oh! That's perfect then! I'd say I'm pretty damn loyal, among all those other things." energetic and bubbly, most definitely. he had his moments where he was not, of course, but he hated being down in the dumps. "You sure know a lot about flowers. That a hobby or something?"
