A/N: Lol I got a black eye. Not from the same thing as Xiao, but not much better, either.

Summary: Xiao has a black eye, but Aether and Paimon suspect that he’s not being honest about how he got it. How will they draw out the truth from someone as proud and stubborn as Xiao?

“Morning, Huai’an.” Aether greeted. The innkeeper looked up from his many plants kept by the Wangshu Inn doors as he approached. He gave Aether a funny look.

“Morning? It’s nearly two o’clock already.” He turned to face him, crossing his arms with a slightly disapproving look on his face. “Have you been losing time fighting somewhere?”

Aether and Paimon exchanged sheepish chuckles.

“Something like that.” Aether replied with a shrug. “I think I’m just getting timezones mixed up.”

“Timezones?”

“Well, when you travel from nation to nation as often as the traveler and Paimon do, it’s to be expected!”

Huai’an shook his head with a small smile. “I’ll never understand how you two do it. Though, I suppose that it isn’t really my place to.” He turned back to his bonsai and inspected a leaf. “It isn’t as though I don’t have any experience with mysterious young folk like the two of you.”

“Speaking of Xiao,” Aether said, “is he here?”

“No,” he shook his head. “I haven’t seen him in a few days.”

“Oh,” Paimon frowned at Aether. “Well, that’s okay. We can always ask Verr Goldet. She might know!”

“Thank you anyway, Huai’an.”

The innkeeper nodded, and Aether and Paimon stepped away toward the counter.

“Verr Goldet!” Paimon greeted, darting out ahead. “Hi!”

“Oh! Hello, Paimon!” She smiled, looking up from her paperwork. She turned her smile to Aether. “Hello, Outlander.”

“Hey, Boss.” Aether waved.

“Would you happen to know where Aether and Paimon could find Xiao? We’re looking for him.” Paimon asked. Verr seemed to think a moment.

“I… believe he said something about having important work to do. He left very quickly.” She thought. Then, she waved a hand. “Of course, that was several days ago. He hasn’t come back yet, and he didn’t say where he was going. Sorry.”

Aether sighed, meeting Paimon’s eye.

“Thanks anyway.” He said. “Do you mind if we wait for him here?”

Verr nodded. “Be my guest. Though, don’t be too disappointed if he doesn’t show up.”

“Okay!” Paimon smiled, flitting ahead toward the staircase. “Thank you, Verr!”

Aether waved a small goodbye before following Paimon up the stairs to the balcony. It was empty, as usual. It was also probably the best place to wait for Xiao.

Aether joined Paimon at the railing. For a moment, they were both quiet. The view was stunning. It was definitely just as beautiful during the day as it was at night. Aether could understand why Xiao spent so much of his free time there. There was a sense of peace in just enjoying the atmosphere.

A small sound pricked Aether’s ears, drawing him out of his reverie. It was a tiny, almost breathy melody, and it was very familiar. It took him a heartbeat to place where he knew it from, and by the time he did he was already turning around. Xiao was standing by the door, watching them.

“You noticed this time.” He frowned. He was referring to the last time they’d met on the balcony when Aether had failed to notice the sound of the waypoint. Aether frowned too, but for a different reason.

god phantom theif saiouma is so good😭 shuichi going to find kokichi and question him about some robberies but the only way kokichi will answer him is by playing a game. kokichi lies his detective face down and says he will answer any question truthfully if he can guess what word he's writing on his back with his markers. shuichi goes pink in the face and giggles his heart out, barely making out half a question when the tip of the marker glides over his sensitive lower back. But when kokichi turns him over to wrote on his tummy it's all over for this questioning 😭😭

AHHH YES I LOVE THIS TROPE SO MUCH!!! And Kokichi leaves the biggest questions for the end and doesn't even try to hide what he's writing but Shuichi is laughing and squirming around too much to even notice he can SEE WHAT KOKICHI IA WRITING! So he just takes it

Sorry this took so long to get to! I’ve been taking a bit of a break from social media but I’m back now! Also sorry but Soudam is a bit of a discomfort ship for my so I won’t be writing about it but I’m more than happy to do Ishimondo and Komahina!

Komahina

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

In my mind it would be Nagito. He would definitely try to contain it at first but i imagine his laugh to be really adorable. It wouldn’t be loud and cackle-y, more like being kinda quiet and ‘clean’ if that makes sense?

2. Who is ticklish in weird places and where would it be?

Due to Nagito’s ‘amazing’ luck, he’d definitely be ticklish all over. But one thing I headcannon about Hajime is that he’s extremely ticklish down the back of his neck and his back down to his tailbone. He wouldn’t be able to stand light tickles there!

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

Both, but more so Hajime! I feel like Nagito would get them when he starts downtalkin himself again, but I see that as more lightheaded punishment tickles than cheer-up tickles. On the other hand, I see Hajime getting cheer-up tickled, all the time! And Nagito definitely wouldn’t hesitate with the teasing and praise.

4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck in their t-shirt?

Hajime, definitely!! I feel like Nagito’s luck would play tricks on him sometimes (like in the anime when the vending machine wouldn’t work) and he’d get really stuck in the T-shirt. I don’t mean like ‘oh no I’m stuck for a few seconds’, I mean properly tangled up to the point his arms are pretty much useless. Hajime would definitely take advantage of his position cornering Nagito before letting loose, but would help him out eventually.

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

They were watching a film or just having some quiet time together when Nagito just blatantly asked Hajime if he was ticklish. Completely taken aback, Hajime denied it, but Nagito decided to test it out anyway. Upon finding out that Hajime had lied, Nagito decided to punish him for it. But eventually, Hajime was able to get the upper hand, and turned the tables on him.

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Nagito lol. I feel like he’d squeal a little bit if Hajime even attempted it.

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Nagito againnnn. Hajime found he would often be ready to leave the house while Nagito was just getting up, so he decided to take action. He does this thing where if Nagito doesn’t get up within 15 minutes of Hajime getting up, hed start tickling him for a minute at a time until Nagito got out of bed. It usually works but sometimes Nagito can be extra stubborn, which only means he gets tickled more! And Hajime never fails to mention how he could make the tickling stop by simply getting up. Sometimes though, Nagito decides to turn the tables on Hajime and do the same to him, though he isn’t so lenient with time.

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Hajime without a doubt. I have no idea why and I would elaborate if I did, it’s just a gut feeling yknow?

9. Who is more likely to get hurt during a tickle fight?

Nagito probably. I can’t imagine him thrashing when being tickled, despite being the more ticklish of the two. Hajime however, I can definitely see him thrashing when being tickled, so Nagito is more likely to get kicked.

10. Who provokes the other into tickling them?

Nagito. Constantly. Though a lot of the time, it’s unintentional and he doesn’t see it coming. An example of this is when he starts downtalking himself, though usually he’ll realise what he said and start backing away before Hajime goes in for the kill. Though, sometimes he can just be a right little annoying punk and Hajime won’t hesitate.

Ishimondo

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Taka I think. I’m not sure why it’s just another gut feeling lol. But I feel like Mondo’s laugh would start win a very high pitched squeal.

2. Who is ticklish in weird places and where would it be?

Taka’s weird tickle spot would probably be his palms. I know they’re not that strange but I feel like he’s recoil at even the slightest touch. As for Mondo, his ears are so bad!! So are his calves.

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

Just Taka! Mondo hates seeing him down, so always tries to help him cheer up. Unfortunately for Taka, this usually involves a few minutes being tickled down the ribs. Taka has more ‘normal’ methods of cheering Mondo up, as he’s better with his words.

4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck in their T-shirt?

Mondo, absolutely. He doesn’t even give it a second thought; he just thinks it’s really funny and likes seeing Taka coil under his touch. Taka however, always helps Mondo get out of his T-shirt without any tickling. This doesn’t mean that Mondo isn’t fearfully anticipating it every time it happens though!

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

Chihiro was definitely the one to tell Mondo about Taka being ticklish. When confronted about it, Taka didn’t deny it. After all, Mondo surely wouldn’t tickle him right then and there if he found out right? Taka found out about Mondo being ticklish from either Celeste or Sakura, I haven’t decided which. Mondo though was a little bit more reluctant to admit it. But when he said the rumour was true, Taka didn’t tickle him there like he had before, which only left Mondo in more suspense for later.

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Both. RIP to both of em.

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed?

Mondo. Seems to be a running theme in these asks where one of the two is always up at dawn and the other sleeps in till noon lol. But that’s the case here too! Taka is always efficient at getting up early, and tries to get Mondo to do the same after noting how late he always was for classes and work.

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Both would dor sure. It just depends on the day and the situation.

9. Who is more likely to get hurt during a tickle fight?

Surprisingly, Mondo. I think he’d actually be quite good at controlling his movements so as not to hurt Taka when he’s being tickled. Taka on the other hand loses all control and thrashes about hopelessly.

10. Who provokes the other into tickling them?

Neither actually! They don’t like provoking each other. Instead, one will just start tease the other and then begin to tickle them.

Kiibouma

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

I’m gonna say Kiibo! This is just a personal preference because I really love his cannon voice!! I feel like his laugh would be a little more panicky than Kokichi’s because he wouldn’t really understand what was going on if that makes sense?

2. Who is ticklish in weird places and where would that be?

For Kokichi, well he’s ticklish all over, but I think his neck would be the worst spot! I know that’s not really a weird place but hey lol. As for Kiibo, I think his ears would be kind of ticklish, but not too much.

3. Who gets cheer-up tickles?

Both, but more so Kokichi! I think that before Kiibo comes to learn and understand tickling completely, he would just see it as something weird that got Kokichi to laugh a lot so whenever the latter looked down he would go in and tickle him for a while! Once Kiibo came to learn what tickling really was (namely after he experienced it for the first time), this would continue, but he became more aware of everything like Kokichi’s worst spots and his limits.

4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck in their T-shirt?

Definitely Kokichi!! Obviously Kiibo doesn’t wear clothes in game but if he did, Kokichi wouldn’t hesitate. He’d make a game of it too, teasing constantly about how Kiibo couldn’t escape without damaging the shirt.

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

Kiibo first discovered it when Kokichi was being pouty and he tried to lift him up by his armpits. This made Kokichi squeal a little bit and Kiibo dropped him, scared that he’d hurt Kokichi, but he just brushed it off and said it was nothing. When Kiibo told Miu about it later, still kind of confused, Miu laughed at him for not realising that Kokichi was ticklish. Of course, she had to explain to him what this meant (leaving out the part about it being absolute torture) and said that he should try again. As for Kiibo, well, Kokichi just wanted revenge for Kiibo tickling him so often. He got Miu to install a ‘tickle button’ onto Kiibo, and she agreed without much persuasion. It basically transferred human touch into electric signals that would tickle Kiibo immensely. Not knowing what he was getting himself into, Kiibo agreed to the installation. It didn’t take long for him to regret it though!

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Kokichi for sure!! His worst spot is his neck so tickle bites drive him crazy!

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Kokichi again. He’s the kinda guy to not want to get up until like noon, so Kiibo, who is always up at the nick of dawn, has to take action. He gives him plenty of warnings, which makes him think Kokichi’s just asking for it sometimes. But sometimes on weekends and holidays, Kokichi will get up super early just to get revenge! (Yes this one was copy and pasted from my Saiouma headcannons but it still applies here lmao)

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Probably Kokichi! I imagine that due to Kiibo’s weight, it makes it a lot harder for Kokichi to escape when being tickled, and a lot easier for Kiibo to escape whe Kokichi turns on him. With no hope of escape, I can imagine Kokichi would be forced to give up.

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt during a tickle fight?

Kokichi again lol. Again, due to kiibo’s weight and materials, Kokichi is more likely to get injured. However Kiibo always takes extra special care to not hurt Kokichi, even if it means he gets tickled to his limits.

10. Who is more likely to provoke the other into tickling them?

Kokichi would definitely try to, but Kiibo would never get the message, so it never really worked. Well, it worked once, but only once. And Kiibo really really lost it that time. Now instead, Kokichi just acts sad or blatantly asks Kiibo to tickle him when he’s in the mood. On the other hand, Kiibo never tries to get Kokichi to tickle him, but constantly annoys him by complete accident. Kokichi always comes to the conclusion that tickling Kiibo is the best punishment!

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Okay this one’s actually really tough but I think Kyoko would have a cuter laugh. I think she’d try to hide the fact she’s laughing by burying her face behind her hair and hands but once she gets laughing oh boy it’s so adorable!

2. Who is ticklish in weird places and where would it be?

Kyoko again! I headcannon that she’s really sensitive to soft tickles on the backs of her shoulders and shoulder blades

3. Who gets cheer up tickles?

Both of them! Quite often as well. Makoto would cheer up really quickly while it would take Kyoko a bit longer but they always work.

4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck while taking off their T-shirt?

If Makoto got stuck Kyoko would definitely take advantage! Makoko would probably flail around quite a bit which would only cause him to get even more tangled.

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

Kyoko caught light of it from Sayaka or Aoi and thought to test it out for herself. Needless to say the theories were true. Of course it was only a matter of time before Makoto decided he wanted revenge so he waited for her in his dorm and tackled her from behind the door. It wasn’t very graceful but it was funny to Makoto.

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

I think Kyoko would often give Makoto tickle bites and he’d absolutely crumble. His laugh would definitely go really high pitched.

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Makoto again! Kyoko’s usually awake very early so if she gets lonely while Makoto’s still snoring away she’ll tickle him awake. Or if he just won’t get up she’d really let him have it!

8. Who gives up in a tickle fight?

Probably Makoto again to be honest. I think Kyoko would be able to turn the situation in her favour most of the time so she’d almost always have an advantage!

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when tickling the other?

I think Makoto would definitely flail about and kick a lot, so Kyoko might end up with a couple of knocks. She’s not completely innocent either though! One wrong move and she might accidentally kick Makoto in the leg.

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Obviously Makoto would sometimes mess around just to get her to wreck him by poking her or tapping her phone screen while she’s trying to type, yknow the usual “I’m being a little shit what are you gonna do about it?” sorta stuff, but honestly?? I think Kyoko would too! But I feel like it would be so unimaginably subtle that Makoto doesn’t even realise that’s what she’s trying to do. Or so she thinks. Makoto is completely aware of what she’s doing but he keeps the game going for her sake cause he thinks it’s just really cute.

Saiouma

This is one of my comfort ships so I think about these two a lot 😳

1. Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Honestly this one is so hard I genuinely don’t think I can pick??? Kokichi’s would be loud, with lots of begging and squealing whereas Shuichi’s would be a lot softer, still with a lot of begging and the occasional squeak, but then once you hit his death spot or if you catch him by surprise he can turn into a bubbly mess!

2. Who is ticklish in weird places and what would it be?

I don’t think these are considered ‘weird’ but I think they can still count! Kokichi’s absolute death spot would be under his scarf. Like, his neck is insanely ticklish. As for Shuichi, his palms are unbearable. He’d crumble pretty quickly if you so much as touched them.

3. Who get’s cheer-up tickles?

Shuichi! Whenever Kokichi notices him feeling even a little down he doesn’t even hesitate! There’d definitely be a lot of teasing too

4. Who takes advantage of the other getting stuck taking off their T-shirt?

Kokichi, absolutely. Again, he just wouldn’t hesitate. He’d probably back Shuichi into a corner and just completely wreck him. Shuichi would be too weak to do anything but sit, take it and beg. Kokichi would have to help him out of the T-shirt at the end and he’d throw himself into Shuichi’s lap and give him a big hug.

5. How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

Honestly??? Kokichi just one day decided to tickle him. Literally for no reason at all, other than to see if Shuichi was ticklish. It was completely by surprise, so poor Shuichi gave in immediately. As for Kokichi, well he was being a little shit so Shuichi tried pushing him away but saw him flinch when he touched his belly so he poked it a few times with the whole “Huuuh? Are you ticklish Kokichi?”. This completely flustered Kokichi who tried to run away but got pulled into a tickly hug.

6. Who can’t take tickle bites?

Kokichi!! His absolute worst spot is his neck so Shuichi would take every opportunity to give him a few nibbles around there which would drive him crazy!!

7. Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

9. Who is in danger of getting hurt when tickling the other?

Definitely Shuichi. Kokichi would thrash around like a maniac when being tickled and Shuichi has definitely left a few tickle fights with a bruise or two, non-intentional of course. On the other hand Shuichi becomes a weak mess when he’s tickled, effectively rendered so helpless he can’t even kick.

10. Who always provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Kokichi 1000% and he will use ANY means necessary. From just playfully poking Shuichi to throwing his stuff on the floor to embarrassing him a little at school to giving his dorm a complete redesign. Shuichi is super patient so it might take a while but when he loses his cool boy he LOSES IT and will absolutely wreck Kokichi.
