Even though he stood taller than her, he was no mightier. The harbinger of death and iron was a sight to behold in a sense. He reeked of darkness, ill intent and demise. She imagined that should he inflict any form of damage to her, she’d need to spend some amount of time and her own aura to heal and cleanse herself from his taint. Creatures like him made her heart sink; they were never there to fulfill a mission that would deliver humanity from its sin, nor would he assist in creating a better future for the mortals and immortals alike. What he stood for were destruction and chaos, and it turned her insides.

Yet, there she stood, opposing him, her blade pointing at the ground, illuminating everything in its path, yet she was ready to lift and defend herself at any given moment.

Cautious and critical as she was, Kayle was also very curious. There were many things she did not know about their world, and Mordekaiser was one of the mysteries she was interested in solving.
