UPCOMING SEMI-HIATUS WARNING !

During the week that goes from DECEMBER 11th TO DECEMBER 17th, I'll be working double shifts every day (Monday to Friday, and then I'll probably spend the weekend dead on the couch).

Since I will have little to no time and energy to write, I've decided to keep my queue completely EMPTY for the whole length of the week. Everything that will be posted during that week (if anything will be) are things I wrote the same day, because I had a particular itch to reply to write that specific reply.

So, if the reply you're waiting for doesn't get posted within December 10th, it means that it will be queued for after my semi-hiatus. I'll also be stuffing the queue for the next couple of weeks mostly with asks / one-shot replies, to avoid having my drafts piling up too much in the meanwhile.

On that note, if you could avoid instant-replying to me, especially during my week of hiatus, I'll greatly appreciate it.

Izuku had been training with Sero-kun to master Blackwhip, but there's only so much the other student could do to help him. And he needed to learn how to subconsciously use the Quirk quickly so that he didn't have to worry about it once the other Quirks inside One For All started manifesting.

hmmmmm, as much as he does like books, i wouldn't say necessarily going to a bookstore simply bc?? he can already do that in his freetime and plus i think he would want to do something that's more interactive with his partner...i feel like he'd be big on window shopping simply because there's always something to comment on while looking around....he also likes the idea of going to the beach even if it is on a cloudy cold day. perhaps a good balance between these two would be walking on the boardwalk then??

in black knight verse, patrick's a lot quieter and exhausted so i feel like any activity that doesn't involve too much moving around or too much convo would be ideal for him....feed the pigeons with him. or take him somewhere where he can forget about his worries for a little bit ( the beach is a great starting point ) 🥲

it was with felicity!! it was incredibly loving and sweet and not mention playful too...the two of them were always bantering/playing some kind of prank on each other...it was a bit like a competition in that manner too 🥲 that's probably the most openly playful patrick's ever been through out his life as felicity really opened him up and not to mention, helped him loosen up too. so when she passed away, he shut that side down real quick....got ten times more serious in the immediate aftermath 🥲

Despite the little patient he has when asked questions about his persona, these particular ones cause him to pause. Not because he really wants to answer them, but because the very first one leaves him puzzled for several seconds.

His closest brush with death? He has had so many. Too many to count, even if he had tried to, at first. After a while, though, he had given up. Most of the scars on his body are from times he had risked his life, and there have been many others that haven't left a visible mark.

One could say that he and death are buddies by now, considering how often he has looked at it in the eye.

"I-I suppose it's the one time I actually died...sort of."

Perhaps that's more than a brush, but it's definitely the one time when he had thought that it would be the real end for him.

"I-It was after my Morty had locked my consciousness in my own mind an-and was using my body as a puppet for his personal goals. When C-137 and his Morty got in the way, he left me for dead. An-And I would have stayed dead if those Citadel idiots who called themselves the 'Council of Ricks' hadn't brought me to their labs and...reactivated me. I guess I should be grateful."

He is not. And they are all dead anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

"D-Did it affect me? Not really. All I did afterwards...I had already decided it during my...mental exile. A-At most, it just made me even more hellbent on reaching my aim."

The second question is easier to answer, he doesn't even have to think about it. Yet, he still stalls for a moment, savouring the irony of the fact that it's somewhat linked to the previous one.

"A-As for the other question...Yes and no. Everyone I've wanted dead has died. So, I have no loose ends of that kind. But I do have a 'the one that got away'."

He goes quiet for a moment, as if stolen away by his own thoughts. The subject is personal, intimate even, and there is so much to say about it...and most of it will be left unspoken.

"My Morty, again. I wasn't planning on killing him, ever. We were supposed to be together forever, but...he had other plans. Now, I understand why, I see how we never were on the same wavelength."

The teen had never understood the meaning and the aim behind his actions, just as Rick had failed to notice that he had been misinterpreted all along.

"It's curious how he is the author of both of these failures on my part. But I'm not surprised. He is my Morty, after all."

Katsuki's a fairly cautious person but it’s more so in the ‘protective’ sense than him being paranoid about shit. He’ll especially be protective and be on the lookout for red flags around those he doesn’t trust if they are around people he does.

It’s incredibly difficult to gain his trust… but the one way to earn it is just proving your strength; whether fighting along side him, or fighting / training against him. And if the trust is broken the best course to mend it is just fighting along side or  training against him.
