Eyes opened to see that of a bright light shinning down on her face.

It was the only light in the room & it shone down directly onto her eyeballs. It caused Violet to flinch, & raise her hand to try to cover her eyes.

“Urg....”

Her back felt stiff, a painful sort of stiff, like she had been sleeping on a log, not to mention cold as well.

The hand that wasn’t blocking the light from shining onto her eyes, reached to plant itself onto her bed, so she could push herself up. Though, upon touching what she was laying on... it didn’t feel like a mattress. It was ice cold, metal... cold steel. It made her snap her head down to look at just what it was she was laying on.

A cold steel table, made extra long so it appeared like a bed almost... it was so familiar to her. Like she had seen this particular steel table-bed before.

Eyes drifted away, as Violet tried to peer at the room around her through the light shining down at her. It appeared mostly empty, safe for a single, small, stainless steel table near her bed, as well as an IV bag hanging beside it. ... Wait... a what & a what now?

... A bright light shining down on her... a cold steel bed... a small stainless steel table... & a IV bag....

No. No. No.

Nononononononono.

Don’t tell her, she isn’t... back there... she can’t be.

“Good morning, Violet.”

A chill ran up the burette’s spine & her blue eyes went wide.

Oh no.

Violet knew that voice anywhere. She can’t ever forget it.

The face of the voice’s owner peered into the light shinning down on the bed, & it made Violet’s heart stop.

“Are you ready for today’s experiments?”

“....”

There were no words she could muster in response to this woman. She wanted to yell, she wanted to scream, she wanted to cry... yet none of those came to the surface.

She was too terrified to say anything at all, in the face of the doctor that had been the source of most, if not all, of her pain & suffering. The twisted woman who made her a monster.

“Oh, don’t worry. I know you’re simply trilled, which is why we already have gotten started.”

“-Huh?” Another looked crossed the superhuman’s face, this one of... confusion. She had done what? ‘Already gotten started’? But how did she-

Her gaze quickly shifted down to her body...

... all she could see was red. So much red. Too much red. When she saw it, Violet could finally muster a response from her mouth.

She screamed.

Violet snapped up from her bed, as the walls of her home quickly met her eyes.

She looked around quickly, no stainless steel table, no IV bad, no bare white room.

Hand went around the bed she was sitting on, as she felt the soft mattress & blanket, assure her that she was indeed in a real bed.

Frozen still, she breathed heavily for a while, pants leaving her as she tried to regulate her breathing.

“... Not more nightmares....” She muttered quietly to herself.

“... Not again....”

One day, I will do more with Annie tho. The bitch whose mostly responsible for Violet’s upbringing, development & torture needs to get was she deserves too-

TBH I would have been using her more already, but my will to write her was shot a long time ago because someone was relentlessly pursuing the chance to fuck her & was literally ready to unravel my entire story to do that.

YEAH. YOU READ THAT RIGHT. SOMEONE WANTED TO FUCK THE CRAZY DOCTOR WHO GETS OFF ON SLICING PEOPLE OPEN & LISTENING TO THEIR CRIES & SCREAMS OF AGONY. YEAH NO WONDER MY MUSE FOR HER IS SHOT TO OBLIVION.

Unfortunately for Accelerator, she doesn’t NEED any sort of powers, just her presence & words alone effects Violet. The amount of damage Annie’s inflected on Violet’s mind can make the GodHunter into an scared child. The nam flashbacks would be VERY real.
