Semi-Plotted Starter w/ @shadowzgather

   Claws tap idly against the desk as Sir Pentious enters his office. He's heard about the fiasco, what Alastor did today, and what he said for that matter. Irritation is there, but not towards the snake demon of course. Rather .. towards Alastor for opening his mouth in order to play his little game in attempts to make Sir Pentious squirm. 

   Regardless, he did not expect Sir Pentious to request a more serious audience with him. Upon the snake demon's entrance, Damien gently shoos Nimue off, causing her to head back to her room for now. She knows he prefers to keep things professional when discussing business. 

" Pentious. Didn't expect you to request to speak to me. If this is about what happened today I can assure you it's already settled. It won't be a mark against you, I've given Alastor his earful of the day. " A pause as he leans forward. " But you're not in here for that, are you? Do have a seat and state your reason. "

   With that, he gestures to the open chair across the desk from him, keeping an eye on the other in the meantime and curious to what he just might want.

It's been awhile, been awhile since he's actually seen the other. Not because he didn't want to, but rather he felt like he shouldn't. After all, it never left his mind what he did that day. It probably never will either, but he's terrible at apologies, terrible with emotions in general despite the help he's gotten for it. 

Seeing Pip again is sort of... jarring. He can't recall the last time he actually saw him, especially after his 'death', but here he was in the diner as if nothing was even wrong. Furrowing his brows slightly, he soon picks up his drink and makes his way over to the blonde's table, clearing his throat to try and get the other's attention.

"Didn't think I'd see you again after all these years. Don't suppose you're willing to chat a bit, considering the last time we spoke I was kind of a dick."

   Eyes narrow briefly at Sir Pentious as he keeps his hands folded behind his back. Eventually his gaze turns to those that have fallen, casually striding over to some and briefly nudging them with his foot. He knows Charlie would probably have a riot if she saw this, especially not long after the extermination. The little princess seems quite keen on rehabilitating sinners after all.. 

   Bringing a clawed finger up to pick at his teeth briefly, there's a slight snort of amusement. They were in Hell, that was true. Eventually he turns back to the other demon, still keeping his grin. 

" By all means, Pentious, I was just making sure you didn't hurt my little pet that's running around somewhere out here. Lets make sure you keep it that way, yes? Though, I will be willing to reward you if you find her. See. She's been missing for a few days now, and last I recall, someone did say they saw her with you after extermination day. "

   He barely tolerates the cold as is, and tolerates the snow even less. As Pip's making a snowman, he stands a good enough distance away for both Pip and the snowman's sake, mostly because he'll probably end up melting it down if he gets close enough. Whenever it's cold like this, he keeps his body heat at a regulated temperature, after all, he let it lower once and ended up getting sick from it. 

"I don't know why you dragged me out here, it's too damn cold. This is stupid."

   There's a grumble as he pockets his hands, still continuing to watch for a moment. That is until he pulls out his phone to check the time, he doesn't mean to be impatient but he'd rather be in somewhere warm. It's not until a snowball collides with him and promptly melts that Damien's attention is brought back to Pip.

"What? Do you want me to melt the snowman? I'm not lowering my body temperature just to help you make one. Getting sick sucked ass and I don't want to go through that again."

   Damien never said things like that lightly either, he learned the importantance to it the older he got, and it's why he's already stuck with one person as is. The half demon was very difficult about admitting to things like this as well, so when he says it the first time he'll never repeat it. 

   Crimson eyes stare back at Pip, he didn't really blame the other if he didn't believe the words that calm from Damien, but whether the blonde believes it or not, he was stuck with Damien as a friend at this point on. There's a good chance nobody else would hear something like this from the half demon again.

There's no comment, just a toothy grin as he turns his head towards Stan. Damn right he was a bad idea, though that doesn't stop him from fully turning to face the other and moving to back him against the wall so he could pin him there. Sure Stan's a little taller than him, but that doesn't stop him from doing it anyway. 

"You sure you wanna mess with this bad idea? Cause I can either make it really good that you'll never want to get away, or make it so bad you'll want out. Or if you're into that you'll just be stuck with me. Take your pick." His grin never fades as he keeps both of his hands on the wall. He'll stay there for as long as he has to just to get an answer.

   He doesn't appreciate being woken up honestly, there's a low grumble as he slowly turns his head to look at Fran with a mix between annoyance and exhaustion. He was warm and comfy and she disturbed his slumber. Sure he was by a fireplace but he knew how close he could be and still be safe about it. It's not like he was going to suddenly catch fire and burn the whole house down.

"Yeah I know. Why'd you wake me up? I don't smell food and I refuse to go outside. It's too cold out there right now."

   Sorry Fran, you're not getting him to move easily unless foods involved. He just seems to stretch a bit and go right back to being curled up, grumbling something about trying to go back to sleep.

Finally managing to get out of Hell and away from the other demons earlier than usual, he was actually hoping for the cover of the moonless night to keep him from being followed. Lucky for him he manages to get away, spotting a fire in the distance and gravitating towards it by mere habit. Fire was a comfort to him after all, and right now he wasn't sure where the portal had brought him or how far away from his home he had gotten.

Finally making it towards the bonfire, he's careful not to get too close as he watches the silhouettes dance around it. It's frustrating, he doesn't know enough about some things yet to dare mess with it, but he also feels alone, unable to get ahold of his sister at the moment. Instead he pockets his hands and kicks at the dirt a bit, muttering a name under his breath three times.

"..Betelegeuse, Betelegeuse, Betelegeuse."

An angry huff soon follows after, he's not really sure he wants to be picked on but at this point his Uncle's company is better then nobodies. It's a shame that the scratches Damien's recieved are all over to the point his sweater's been torn. Mostly around his arms and back.

"I don't know why I have to summon you like that. Your name's Lawrence. Stupid.." He doesn't mean that, he's just being a little shit. He doesn't make eye contact though when the other appears, he's instead staring at the ground and still kicking that same spot he was before.

He was just trying to enjoy a peaceful night, sure there's howling from wolves nearby, but he's learned to ignore that. Instead he lies on his back, staring at the stars. Just a moment to slow down and relax, enjoy the quiet.. or that's what he would've liked until Fran suggested howling back.

Slowly sitting up, he peeks over the edge of his shades with a look that says 'are you fucking kidding me?' before he lets out a sigh and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Fran if you fucking howl back I will leave you here and let them come eat you."

He won't, but he'll still get up and act like he will. He's not mean enough to actually leave her there.

I will put like, some basic verse information for the two so if you want like ... details or wanna ask questions I have a baseline to go off of.

Nimue sold her soul to Damien and only died a year ago at around the age of 30. As of current, she's basically Damien's little ' pet ' though he treats her more of a friend since he often acts rough towards the other people of Hell.

She is a cat demon, a reference to the fact she's considered ' Bad luck ', so she'd fall under ' Black Cat '.

NOTE ;; Damien has NOT told her anything about the other overlords or really ANYTHING about Hell, he kept her cooped up in his mansion for her first year of being in Hell and only let her out after the extermination happened. So no, she will NOT know your character.

Damien is a CREATION under Satan, since Hazbin Hotel's Satan does NOT have a defined gender or solid body. He is still meant to be the Anti - Christ, though he's in the middle of becoming stronger in order to fulfill his role as one. To stay with the whole ' Son of a Jackal ' theme, Damien is a jackal demon.

   It caught Damien by surprise really, Pip was never really shown to be angry, or at least he's personally never seen the brit angry. Though he can't blame him after everything he's gone through in this hellish town. Of course, some people also don't seem to be better about mocking the boy either, something that frustrated Damien but also he expected. After all, people still feared or hated him for what he did as a child.

   There's an.. awkward pat on the shoulder as he tries to reassure Pip that it's alright, he never was really good with comforting though. Damien was always more of the 'fuck their shit up if they make you angry' type anyway, even despite working on that. He still had a ways to go after all.
