         𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. it seemed impossible, but for karou who had already lived two lives, it was only the very tip of possibility. she wasn’t sure what caused it, but rips began to appear in eretz in the strangest of places. in the kirin caves, in the hintermost, even in astrae. and coming off the heels of war, the last thing the seraphim or the chimaera needed was more battle. they had already lost so much. and so it was decided to send teams bit by bit to explore, to report back, to keep the borders of either side safe. 

karou was, of course, one of the first to sign up for this venture. which is what led her here –– in this place. this other earth. with its other demons and other monsters and other angels. it was... definitely weird. especially when these shadowhunters took one look at her hamsas, called them runes and took her away. yeah: weird.
