Alroy didn't really react to it at the time because he didn't know what the hell was going on, but once he starts remembering Delilah again and it finally sinks in for him...oof.

Delilah probably said that passively and won't really think about it afterwards (I highly doubt she'd purposely be malicious to her brother, especially given how close they are), but ironically, Alroy will always remember that throwaway line. It taunts him, haunts him with the nagging thought that his sister thinks he's crazy. 》
