okay i know you and i have talked about this privately but i dont know if we've shared the idea of rune & asha and what powers/abilities they inherit!

so talk about that! do they get god powers? vampire powers? both? none? what's the deal. how are they taught to handle said powers? what can they do? what can't they do? what's special per child?

HELLO I WILL ALWAYS TALK ABOUT MACE AND THEIR LIL FAMILY THEY HAVE TOGETHER!!

now obviously mace had a pureblood donor and a whole team of doctors/nurses ready to help aid in the long nine months to come for the couple! they definitely keep the existence of their children a secret, so they can live a 'normal' life and keep their childhood intact. the last thing mace wants is for anyone on the council, to try induct their kids into council business/leader. so a lot of planning had to happen, to ensure they'd be left alone & safe!

AS FOR THEIR POWERS, rune & asha definitely have the same power as malee does! — when they are born, obviously their powers are very dormant as they're babies & their power would very slowly develop the older they get! when they're around 5 probably, the most prominent power that would surface is probably telekinesis? LOL. they don't know how to control their powers as a pureblood yet, so it will 'leak out' in unexpected/usually high emotion situations! so helping them learn/process their emotions in a safe/healthy way is definitely something mace would teach them! which probably includes brain stimulation activities, walking their pets, etc!

what's great about parent mace, is the neverending patience they have with each other, but also with their children 🥺. whenever they have tantrums etc instead of being annoyed or snappy, they try talking to them! if any powers are being used, malee can immediately negate that power from it getting too out of control? while also keeping a calm composure! everytime it happens, she will patiently teach their children what it means to be 'strong like her' and how their powers make them special, but also very different? she and ace definitely try to keep their hearts & minds open to everyone, and to always fill their lil lives with endless love and support while also teaching them! they'd definitely teach them about when they should use their powers and abilities, and to make sure it's not for selfish/wrong reasons? they're defintely all about helping when they can, and to never hesitate when they feel threatened or are in a dangerous situation! ace is 100% the main parent who would teach rune & asha how to defend/fight as they're growing up! malee's the main one who helps with their cravings & powers!

SPECIAL ABILITIES, not every child is the same when it comes to having a special power? i'd imagine that rune's notable power aside from inheriting ALL powers a pureblood would have, his power would probably be something cute like making/using familiars? like mace have LAND & a farm! he's definitely a huge animal lover, so if he can't have a bear as a pet, he'd just make one LMAO. asha's special power would defintiely be something along the lines of mind control? now of course, NOT EVERY POWER WILL BE THE SAME, there's different varations of it! but asha would be the spoiled princess, who sees something and wants it? she'll find a way to get it LMAO. of course mace teach them to not use their power just because they can because exposure etc, but mace are so wrapped around their little fingers,,, they really don't need to use their power to get things they want AKSJDH

rune & asha only have powers a pureblood vampire would have, each power & ability is dependent and different depending on the parents powers/how they use them? because bloodlines etc? so the DONOR probably used their power differently than malee & vice versa, so it's still a learning experience for mace lmao. if mace could just have children together without a donor, i'm pretty sure a GOD'S POWER & a PUREBLOOD'S POWER,,, would make them an unstoppable force; like i can't even imagine how different they'd all be ASKJH

either way! mace loves their children unconditionally and has/will do everything in the world to keep all of them safe, and happy together 💕

hc + 🏠 for a home-themed headcanon

thematic headcanons.

malee definitely has a FEW HOMES around the world, most she frequently visits/stays at more than others! her first home is the pria manor that sits somewhat vacant, somewhere deep in the woods! its filled with ghosts of memories of malee's childhood growing up, and a lot of these memories had grown a little bit tainted after the massacre of her family :(. its well kept and maintained, there's been a few renovations over the generations! as whenever malee comes home for council meetings/visiting her adopted family, she stays in the manor! the inside of the manor is definitely laced with gold trim, long stairways and hallways, too many rooms and a lot of square footage in the mansion. at first it was too hard for her to step foot inside, but slowly over time she was able to stay longer than 5 minutes 🥺. meeting and marrying ace, definitely helped her anxiety & grief since they helped her fill the space with love and things to be happy for 🥺. whenever they can and whenever it's actually safe, mace would bring their kids to the home; to show them a piece of malee's childhood but to fill the manor with even more happy memories 🥺. it's not a place where an empty loss is felt, but a place that can feel like a home 🥺💕 another would be mace's family residence! there's definitely a few homes! but malee's favorites is their home in ace's homeland! she loves the scenery, loves how isolated? they kind of are? where nobody would really bother them, or any loud neighbors etc? when mace decided on the time to start their family, malee 1000% wanted to stay there to have their children in peace! it was safer, and a lot harder to find or track! their homes are definitely well protected, they have a lot of land & just feel very peaceful there? unless you're invited or have directions, it's probably difficult to find i think lmao. a lot of the security system set up was ace's arrangements probably, as well as the custom layout of the manor! malee isn't very big in architecture, so she focused on decorating the home lmao! there's definitely a huge library with a huge garden, everything custom to how they needed it to be? especially for their kids! every home mace has was custom built for them! one other headcanon i have, is mace building rune & asha's crib/rooms together! because they've wanted this for god knows how long, they definitely took the time and effort into making their space,,, rune & asha's space! they're probably the parents who would install custom bunk beds etc if they asked them for it LMAO. they worked on their bedrooms, but also created an actual play room for them when they got older! instead of hiring painters etc, mace probably would work on it themselves and then with the kids if they wanted new color themes etc!
