정지애◞ ♡ ╎ TRIMESTER ( 03 ) : update — a peek inside jung jiae’s phone!

what are the top 5 most used apps on your phone?

“the top five apps on my phone?” jiae asks, raising a brow. “um, okay... let me think.” she says, pursing her lip, eyes glazing over the phone in her hands. “well number one has to be kakao talk.” she begins holding her phone with one hand, raising her index finger on her free hand. she’s counting. “number two... would be... melon.” jiae says with a nod as she raises her middle finger, now making a peace sign. “number three is naver, and as like a three point five, i’m going to say naver map.” jiae says through clenched teeth, her ring finger twitching a little. “number four is probably youtube and as for number five, i’m going to say snow.” she raises her pinky finger and then her thumb before giving a little wave. “you know, for taking pictures?”

what is the most random note your notes app?

"most random note...” jiae repeats, chewing on the inside of her cheek. “my most random note, i wonder what it could be...” she continues to mutter to herself as she opens up the notes tab in her phone. “i’m usually not one for notes, actually.” she says, peering over the top of her phone. “i don’t like notes. i prefer to remember everything in my head but then i end up forgetting anyways.” jiae mutters with a small pout. “but i do have one note in here, it’s actually a list of gift ideas for my friends’ birthday’s...” she confirms with a nod. “it was recently just sejun oppa’s birthday, and next is hayunnie’s birthday. but i’m not going to tell you what’s on here. because what if you tell them?!”

what was the last message or call you’ve received and who was it from?

“oh. this one is so easy, i don’t even need to look at my phone.” jiae exclaims, resting her phone down on the table in front of her. she places her chin in the palm of her hand and narrows her brows. "my last message was from hayunnie, of course.” she says with a big smile. “i’m not entirely sure what it was about but like, whenever we’re not together, i’m always messaging her about something.” she says with a nod. “my last call was from my mom. i have a family dinner to go to this week.” her happy look disappears, as does her bright smile. “yay.”

what were the last five songs that you’ve listened to?

"okay, back to looking at my phone. let’s open up melon.” jiae says, adjusting herself. she picks up her pink clad phone once again and opens melon, her music app of choice. “my last five songs that i listened to were... fabula sunbaenim’s cool, crystallis sunbaenim’s fiesta and blazing sunbaenim’s i got a boy,” she says, reading off of her phone. “it was because of the concert and these were three songs we performed for our showcase. it was... really tough! but so much fun, i had so much fun at the concert.” jiae says, once again with a smile. her happy disposition had returned. “and then i also listened to olivia rodrigo’s deja vu and jealousy, jealousy.”

what were the 5 most recent online searches?

"five most recent searches?” she asks, raising a brow. “okay, onto naver now, i guess...” jiae says, getting out of melon and clicking on her naver app. “i will list these in order for you, okay?” jiae says before beginning. “legacy family concert, um... uh... legacy family concert trainee showcase...” she looks up from her phone nervously. “there is a little bit of a pattern here, isn’t there?” she asks, brushing some hair back from her face. “look, i was really curious as to whether there was going to be any like... fan cams of us...” she says with a pout. “i also searched for new disney merchandise twenty twenty two, oh, i can’t say that one because that is hayunnie’s birthday present. and lastly, nail art inspo.”

banana division◞ ♡ — meet kang bora!

jung jiae is banana division’s kang bora, a twenty something year old nepotism baby socialite turned company employee. evidently, bora comes from money, having been spoiled by her two abundantly wealthy, but doting parents as their youngest child and only daughter.

bora was born and raised in seoul, south korea; although she was fortunate enough to spent a good portion of both her childhood and adolescence jet setting between destinations around the world. in first class, of course. the world was her oyster and any opportunity bora's parents could afford to give her, they gave her. bora attended the best schools and was given access to only the best tutors. she had dancing, singing, acting, piano and painting lessons, but even then; nothing truly ever caught bora's attention. she was never overly studious, paying someone else to do her work was much easier. although no one knows this, that probably explains why bora graduated from her high school with flying colours before beginning her first year at seoul national university. bora is currently completing a business degree. and while she understands next to nothing regarding her coursework ( other than showing up to her classes looking like a million dollars ), at least she understands money.

bora isn't exactly the nicest of people, nor the brightest. she can easily be described as being ditsy or airheaded, and in bora's head, the world more or less revolves around her. or it should. she enjoys both socialising and scheming where appropriate, as long as it gets her somewhere. and when all else fails, bora is a firm believer that money can solve all problems, no matter how great or small. stressful environments and working under pressure are not familiar in the slightest bit to bora, having grown up accustomed to having everyone else solve even her most miniscule of problems. and while money usually fixes most of her problems, she isn't above having a temper tantrum... even at her grown age.

it should be noted that bora is a vegetarian and that she funnily enough, hates bananas. small hints of pink can be seen on her person at all times, be it a pink lip or a pair of pink heels. she also has a not so irrational fear of elevators after being stuck in one for forty five minutes with a woman who swore she could tell the future and a man who was insistent he was on the verge of becoming the next best thing in the hip hop country genre. she recounts it as one of the worst days of her life.

정지애◞ ♡ ╎ lgc university : class ( 02 ) — peoples, cultures & environments!

if jiae had to choose between one of the five continents and live there for the rest of her life, then she would probably be tempted to choose agito’s continent at first, because unlike type zero’s or versus’ continent, both shrouded in either darkness or mist, or even crystallis’ continent which is cold, agito’s continent at least has the sunshine going for it. jiae likes being somewhere where the sun is shining. but then again, it does sound hot and arid and desolate, which makes me go and wonder if jiae would be able to adequately fend for herself in such an environment. so the more we think about it, we would ultimately finalise our pick by choosing fabula’s continent.

fabula’s continent is humid (and probably sunny, so points there) and it even has a jungle. i think jiae might be a little freaked at the thought of having to get her hands dirty and explore to truly understand her surroundings (also all the bugs and the animals... ) after a little while, jiae would become quite an adequate adventurer and would definitely end up having fun with her new life. i totally see her building a tree house in the jungle, a la minecraft style.

esfp-t, the entertainer extroverted, observant, feeling & prospecting (turbulent)

jung jiae is a true entertainer; a vibrant, energetic and positive force of nature, standing at a mere five foot two. she was destined to end up in the spotlight in one way or another, even without the influence of her industry prominent mom and dad (it probably would have been easier, actually). she isn't entirely in tune with those that surround her (their feelings, wants and wishes included), but it's something she's working hard at changing (thanks mom & dad <3). she's also a very spontaneous and curious person, but isn't not a fan of long term planning or repetition. it's a wonder she's been at legacy as long as she has. but even if she wasn't going anywhere with legacy, the experience and memories count, right? given her turbulent trait, criticism and strong, negative emotions are something that in time, is wearing her down. especially now since she's internalising it so much. her parents encouraging her to pursue acting and modelling over music often leads jiae to second guess herself, even though she knows she's got some talent. also being the daughter (and only child) of two rather successful people often leads to comparison, and jiae knows she is far from being the best.

type 7, the enthusiast extroverted, optimistic, versatile, spontaneous, playful & practical.

much like her mbti type, jung jiae is also entirely type 7 or the enthusiast. she is always looking out for new experiences and opportunities that interest or excite her. jiae is learning patience through her time at legacy, as opposed to her silver-spoon childhood of things being given to her rather than earned. and boy oh boy, jiae is impulsive, often following her heart instead of her brain (and she too would argue that her gut agrees with her heart). one of jiae's primary goals is to pursue her dreams on her own merit, without the influence or intervention of her parents. to jiae, that is what freedom and happiness is. their interference with her life now, as an adult, would cause a lot of pain for jiae.

daemon, domestic dog the goshawk dedicated, protective, loyal & passionate.

initially, jung jiae was a domestic dog and then i, clever typist, lost her results. so we changed the quiz and jiae is supposedly a goshawk. strangely, these results are akin to what one would imagine domestic dog!jiae would be like; loyal and protective of those who she loves most. like patience, jiae is also fierce loyalty and protectiveness. she has never had anyone else to fight for but herself. but, if given the opportunity, jiae would be a great champion to defend those she holds close. she would be a fiercely loyal, protective and dedicated friend. there is also mention of fighting for a cause. it's appropriate because jiae is fighting for a lot of things right now.
