with the terms slowly transitioning, we're giving some people the opportunity to work on this character update task. this opportunity is only available to muses who have joined the roleplay AFTER APRIL 9, 2022. for this, there are two options so you only have to pick ONE to do.

A cruel question... It has to be a tie between debuting as a member of NOVA and being a part of the special project, LGC GIRLS FN. She still remembers how shocked she was when it was revealed to the members that Nova would be able to collaborate with her favorite girl group. Hands down, LGC Spring Boys has been the most memorable project he has been a part of, which shouldn't be shocking to anyone. He knows that he still lacks a lot in skill and experience, but performing is what he lives for, what excites him to no end. If he could be on stage without any roadblocks, you wouldn't hear him complaining. He still remembers how his hand trembled so much during his turn to speak. ( No, you can't bring up that he cried during the concert. ) However, he could go without the post-concert depression. That hit him hard.

lgc agency's annual year end gala. getting to collaborate with a local designer and really be part of the creative process (even if he was all but a modeling figure) was very interesting to jino, as someone who wasn't well-versed in fashion. he got to see just how the designer concocted his ensemble for the night and loved how others perceived his outfit during the event. it was also fun (and very nerve-racking) being among seniors of the same craft despite him just getting into the game, it made him want to strive to do something more for the next year.

how do you choose who you spend your time with?

"Honestly, I'm one of those strange people who values alone time, but I suppose that makes the time I choose to spend with others even more special. Of course I spend time with people at the company since we all work together and they can offer advice and insight to any problems I might be having in my career. But my personal time... I choose who to hang out with on how well we mesh together. Basic, I know, but if I can't sit in silence comfortably with them then it's not meant to be. Or if they expect me to be just as lively and talkative as they are then that's also a no. The people I choose to hang out with on a personal level understand me and have often known me for a while to know that I am quiet but that doesn't mean I'm bored or inattentive."

have you ever felt truly loved by someone else?

"My first thought is of my parents and then by extension my siblings. Even though the age gap is rather large between me and my oldest sibling they always looked out for me when I was growing up and had my back when people were picking on me at school. Mom and Dad have never been anything short of supportive on my acting journey, I mean they let me move to Seoul by myself so that I would have a greater chance to be able to audition for different companies. They want to me to live well and without regrets even if it means getting knocked down from time to time. If that's not unconditional love then I don't know what is. They will always have my back even if I don't see them as often as I used to."

who is the most important person in your life?

"I don't have just one important person. Of course both my parents are quite dear to me even though they're all the way down in Busan. The people I consider friends here are also incredibly important and I know for a fact that I wouldn't be nearly as well adjusted without their help. They have become my Seoul family that keeps the loneliness at bay and push me to keep on going when things get hard, so I can't really say that someone means more to me than someone else."

what's your idea of romance?

"Oh, my friends would call me a hopeless romantic and blame it all on the films and dramas I've watched over the years! I think I'm just a natural romantic and love the idea of love. Often times people want a whirlwind romance with lots of passion and fire but to me romance is something more akin to an ever present warm glow that keeps you safe. It's strong and steady but can just as easily be heart fluttering when the time is right. I want to have what the grandmas and grandpas have who have been married for over fifty years but still smile like young people in love when together."

how do you show someone you care about them?

"I like giving gifts but not always like... item gifts. It could be the gift of spending time together, or the gift of a home cooked meal to show my appreciation for them. Since I'm naturally quiet I tend to listen quite a lot and when people say they like or want something I tend to mentally file that away for future reference. It's really gratifying to see their face when I bring something up or give them a present that they'd only briefly mentioned several months ago. This works in both platonic and romantic relationships in my opinion. If I were in a romantic relationship I would also initiate a lot of skinship like holding hands and hugs... little kisses as well, I guess. You know, like in the movies when they pepper it all over their partner's face and they both end up giggling."

First developed a love for singing when he joined the church choir at age 8.

Born and raised in the Ulsan-Busan area before moving to Seoul during middle school.

"Eh?!" Perhaps he exclaimed a little too loudly, but Seyoon was surprised. Why would anyone want to know his thoughts on relationships? What did the company know? Perhaps someone saw him somewhere? Mentioned something they shouldn't?

Or perhaps this was simply innocent curiosity from a coach who had always been friendly. "No, no, I am totally cool with answering some questions." Seyoon smiled cheerfully, putting a lid over his paranoia for now. "I got time, let go for it!" He sat cross-legged, stretching his arms over his head, carefully feigning ease for the show he was about to put on.

how do you choose who you spend time with?

"I am pretty easygoing," he replied. "If someone wants my time, I would give it to them."

Well, he'd hang out with them once to test if they get along. After that, whether or not he'd see them again depended on how much fun he had during their first meeting, how good-looking they were, and who else they were competing with that day/night.

Oh, don't worry, Seyoon had enough time to spare - he wasn't nicknamed the Stamina King of the North for nothing. He was perfectly fine running on three hours of sleep and could comfortably party until 3 every night for whole weeks straight. When he first came to Korea and felt lost after...finding out the truth about his birth, he spent some months doing nothing but partying. Man, that was a time. As for social battery...guess his just drained very slowly.

Nobody.

That would not be a great answer for dear coach, though, would it?

"My family, I guess!" Lie. He would rather die than burden his loved ones. "My friends too, they are all pretty good to me." Lie. They were good to him, but trust was hard to give. Of course, Seyoon had some people he'd lean on more than the others. He trusted a few in his circle to take care of his physical needs, like hunger, exhaustion, or whatever.

Seyoon supposed the truth for anything beyond that would be nobody and he'd either have to get himself out of the pickle or whoever happened to find him in a state of desperation could decide whether or not to lend a hand.

what's your idea of romance?

Oh hell if he should know.

Seyoon squirmed uncomfortably as his brain struggled to piece together a Legacily correct answer. "Um...romance is like, when there's...I guess, love?" He felt like an elementary school kid caught unable to spell the word bee. "Uhhh and love is...um....when somebody is...devoted to me? Thinks of me, takes care of me, and would...die for me?"

He realized he said 'me' quite a few times in that sentence.

"And I mean, I would do the same for them!" Lie.

The truth was, if someone would ever unfortunately fall in love with Seyoon, they'd have to give him everything. And in exchange, he might be able to give that person something. It won't be a lot, but it would be more than what he gave everyone else...and it would be more than what he thought he was ever capable of giving.

who is the most important person in your life?

"My grandmother." It was an honest answer. Normal people would answer their parents, wouldn't they? Or their siblings? While it was true that Seyoon loved his mother and father, stepmom and baby brothers, grandma was on a different tier. She made him toast and knitted him sweaters. Taught him how to grow vegetables and make homemade jams. She read him fairy tales and listened to his boring school stories. They watched nature videos together and she was the one who said go for it when he lacked the courage to ask a girl to the middle school dance. Every day was a good day with his grandmother! She had never disappointed him, never hurt him like everybody else that mattered, and was the most important person ever!

have you ever lost anyone important to you?

"Lost...someone?" Seyoon's smile became stiff. Once fucking again he was reminded of a kid who had died too young. Except this time, instead of a splatter of blood or a pale-faced ghost, he saw a piece of memory featuring two idiots splashing around in a pool. They were laughing, yelling, and having a jolly good time. The kid who died said I wish we could stay like this forever and he, while trying to crack open a can of soda, mumbled uh-huh, yeah.

"Have I..." His chest tightened, but he pretended to not feel it.

"Lost..."

On his seventeenth birthday, the wind was howling extra loud. Seyoon cranked up the music to drown out its cries. It was supposed to be such a wonderful night.

"No," Seyoon said in the end. "I haven't lost anybody. Nobody of importance, anyway." Truth? Lie? He pretended he couldn't tell.
