the thing about writing someone raised in russia is that i hear nadia’s voice in my head, but i’m having a hard time figuring out how to write her accent so that when people read my responses, they can hear what she sounds like in their head.

let me just make it completely clear that nadia hasn’t lived in america since she was 6 years old, so she does not understand american society, culture, style, etc. she’s absolutely clueless. she also has like, no fucking tact whatsoever, so someone’s gonna need to patiently teach her that not every thought needs to be vocalized, & to learn to pick her words carefully. & maybe help her understand not to easily convey those thoughts in her face, either.

i haven't quite gotten there yet in my bio, but nadia escapes the prison with joyce, jim, & murray. she'll use her powers to help them escape (this is assuming they get out by the end of the season). & she'll be wanted by the soviets for escaping & being labeled a traitor.
