the tot boys as dads <3

artem wing is the dad who makes it a point to have a ‘dinner date’ with his kids once every single week. it doesn’t matter how many cases have piled up on his desk, he will make the time. his parents worked a lot and therefore didn’t get the chance to spend much time with him, and artem doesn’t want that same -- sort of strained -- relationship with his own kids. he’ll pick them up from school and take turns choosing where to eat. they’ll talk about everything that’s happened since their last little date. for his kids, it’s school work and/or drama. and artem genuinely tries his best to give advice. in turn, he tells them about the cases he’s working on -- at least, the parts that he thinks are interesting and would make a good story -- or even tell stories about him and his spouse from when they were only dating. it’s a tradition he intends on keeping even after his kids have all grown up <3

luke pearce is the dad who takes his kids everywhere. well, at least everywhere that it’s safe for him to do so. there are no other kids in stellis who are as travelled or as experienced as luke’s. whenever they have the day off from school, luke takes them on little adventures around the city; making up little mysteries for them to solve along the way. he’ll take them to the museum where they have to solve a case on a stolen painting, or a planetarium to solve a wackier one like ‘who stole one of jupiter’s moons’. yes, he knows he could just take them to an escape room every weekend but, this just seemed a lot more fun. he genuinely loves watching his kids figure out the clues he’s laid out for them, but he’ll also step in to help them out if they’re having trouble. at the end of the day, nothing makes him happier than when his kids engulf him in hugs as a thank you for another memorable day. that's his goal after all, making each day memorable <3 

marius von hagen is the dad on christmas morning who said they didn’t get his kids what they want, even though he definitely did. he sits there with a smile on his face, waiting in anticipation to be tackled by several hugs. it’s a move that he constantly does, and his kids fall for it every. single. time. ‘sorry, champ. can’t make it to your big game this weekend, i have a very important meeting.’ except he actually does make it and takes the team out for dinner whether or not they win. ‘aw, princess...daddy will be out of town so i can’t make it to your recital.’ except he’s sitting front row with a video camera in hand and a bouquet of flowers ready. his kids know that as ceo of pax, he’s probably the busiest man in the city. but marius wants his kids to know that they will always come first <3

vyn richter is the dad who makes his kids hobbies his own as well. we all known vyn is a man of many talents, whether it be gardening or learning magic tricks, there’s nothing his overachieving self can’t do. so when his kids express interest in something, you can bet that he will do. he wants to be involved and a part of the process as much as possible. when his kid expresses an interest in a certain sport, he’s already researching the best game tactics and looking for neighbourhood teams to join. when his kid expresses interest in horseback riding, you can bet that weekends are spent on lessons with him. vyn does it because he genuinely wants to be a part of their lives and knowing that having something in common with them will bring them closer <3

do i have my life together enough to want kids? no. did writing this make me want to have kids? absolutely. also, sorry for not proofreading this writing, am writing it in between a paper asdfghjkl ;-; hope everyone is doing ok!

➶   artem wing

early into your relationship, it honestly seemed like artem was afraid to touch you at first. mostly, because he doesn’t want to do anything wrong. it’s a hesitant hand on your waist or your arm, his touch soft and gentle. but really, all he wants is to hold you as tight as he possibly can. 

and once artem has finally settled into the relationship, he asks for cuddles almost everyday. granted, not with any actual words. he’ll simply open his arms out, and you’ll just know what he wanted. if you try and tease him and just stand there, artem will pull you into his arms.  

his favorite part after a long day of work is telling you all about it while he holds you. he’ll rest his chin on the top of your head, a small smile on artem’s face as he recounts his day. even if it were a particularly stressful one, the smile would still be present…he was with you now.

“ i’ve made a major break in the case, i believe it will be helpful for my client. ”     “ that’s good to hear, sweetheart. i’m proud of you. ” “ yn, my love, thank you. for being with me. for everything. ”

this angel has been pining after you for years, luke practically jumps at the offer of cuddles. it doesn’t matter what he’s doing, working on a case or relaxing on the couch, as soon as you pull him away for some cuddles, all of his attention will be on you and you alone. 

most of the time, he’s the big spoon, and you don’t have much to complain about either. big strong arms wrapping around your body, protecting you from the mess that is the real world? who could say no to that? certainly, you won’t.

but there are days where luke just needs to be held. maybe work had been a little rough, or maybe his own thoughts had been too distressing, but he’ll nuzzle his face in the crook of your neck. luke would trail small kisses on your skin, and lets you know how grateful he is to have you back in his life. you could tell in the way he spoke, he meant every word. 

“ luke? are you alright? ”      “ more than alright, you’re with me and i love you. ” “ i love you too. ”

➶   marius von hagen

let’s be real, he was already kind of cuddling you before you even started dating. marius just always pulled you onto his lap or to his side, never failing to turn you into a flustered mess. it only became a much more frequent occurrence when you actually started dating, because well, it’s his favorite thing to do.

marius likes holding your face in between his hands, so you always have to be facing him. he’ll squish your cheeks, coo at you, and pepper small kisses over the entirety of your face. you could be talking about something and just interrupts you with a kiss. even when you frown at him for interrupting you, he just kisses it away with a shrug of his shoulders.

the conversations often turn a little…weird? and marius just stares at you completely enamoured as the two of you talk about the dumbest things. a giant smile always spreads across his lips, grateful that he has someone like you in his life. 

“ babe, do you think i could sneak into area 51? ”      “ marius, we are not having this conversation again…maybe. ” “ i always knew you believed in me. ”

➶   vyn richter

it doesn’t really show on the outside, but vyn gets really giddy at even just the thought of cuddling you. his heart is beating a million miles a minute as you snuggle closer to his side, hoping you don’t hear how loud it is the second you rest on your head on his chest.

it’s not easy to fluster vyn richter, but pushing his glasses up whenever they’ve fallen down the bridge of his nose is a surefire way to do so. he doesn’t want to remove his arms around your body, so he’s glad that you’re willing to do it for him, thanking you with a slight pink tint to his cheeks. 

vyn likes to drag his fingertips up and down your bare arm, leaving a trail of goosebumps in their wake. he does it absentmindedly too. sometimes, he traces little shapes and a few phrases for you to guess. if you guess correctly, he gives you a little kiss on the cheek.

“ go on, take a guess on what i just wrote... ”      “ uh…i love you? ” “ i love you as well. ”

his heart practically breaks at the sight of you curled up on the bed in pain from the cramps. artem’s by your side without another moment’s notice, rubbing soothing circles on your back as he softly asks if there was anything you need or anything that he could do. if you ask him to stay in bed with you, his arms are already opening up. if you ask him to get / buy you something, he’s already bolting out the door. 

you bet that he’s in the kitchen cooking up a storm of your favorite comfort foods, a worried look seemingly permanently etched on his face. normally, artem would listen to music while he cooked, but he skips that when he’s making food while you’re on your period. he wants to make sure he could hear if you ever called out for him.

artem is honestly just constantly asking you if you’re okay and if you need anything. it started out as cute until he did it every fifteen minutes. just shake your head at him and make room for him on the bed so he could hold you close <3

“ i apologize for asking so often, my love. i‘m just worried about you. ”

he panics until he realizes that this was something that he was pretty much used to. having known you for as long as he has; luke knows exactly what to do without you having to tell him anything. he prepares a heating pad to ease your pain before sprinting to the nearest convenience store to get you your favorite snacks and other essentials.

this angel knows you like the back of his hand so his trip to the convenience store doesn’t last particularly long, especially since he also doesn’t want to leave you alone for too long. luke navigates the aisles with an exceptional precision, grabbing chips, chocolate, as well as the  sanitary products he knows that you use. however, he does do a quick double check and sends you a picture of the products to make sure that he had gotten the right things.

luke makes it his mission that you’re as comfortable as you can be, grabbing blankets, fluffing up pillows, doing various little tasks and errands for you. soon enough, all you could ever want is for him to breathe and relax, telling him that you felt like you were bothering him :<

“ a bother? impossible. i like taking care of you. ”

take advantage of this because marius isn’t able to say no to you when you’re on your period, not that he has an easy time doing so when you’re not. it’s just that he is genuinely scared of making you feel worse or stressing you out even more. marius just shyly pokes his head through the doorframe and asks you to list down everything you could ever want. he’ll one hundred percent get it for you.

he genuinely can’t handle seeing you distressed, so marius tries everything in his power to make you laugh as much as possible. this includes matching whatever weird position you were laying in for ~solidarity~ and looking up the cheesiest pickup lines and the corniest jokes to tell you.  

it doesn’t matter what he has lined up for the day, if marius knows that it’s something he can skip or reschedule, he does exactly that so he could keep you company. if it’s something that’s too important to miss, he leaves with a quick kiss to your temple and a promise that he’ll come back as soon as he can. a promise that he keeps <3

“ take my time? nah, i’d rather be here with you…wait for me, okay? ”

honestly, he’s just cool and calm. there is not a single trace of stress or panic on his features, vyn simply takes out the care package that he has prepared for times like this one. it’s almost amazing how prepared he is, but you mean a lot to him so it never felt like a chore for him to take care of you. if anything, there’s a slight ache in his chest at the sight of you in pain.

but he won’t let you know how worried he is, not verbally at least. vyn doesn’t want you to think that you’re being a burden to him, you’re not. he simply hands you a care package with your dvds of your favorite films, some snacks, blankets, and a heating pad. vyn would put a hand on your cheek and give your forehead a quick peck.

after that, he cleans your apartment, picks up your dry cleaning, cooks you some dinner so that all you have to do for the week is lay down and rest. however, you’d grow to miss his presence and force him to lay down and cuddle with you.

“ i’m not tired at all, my dear. i’d do anything for you. ”

honestly, artem didn’t want you in the kitchen with him...it’s just that he really likes to cook for you; it’s one of ways he shows his love. but when you keep insisting, it doesn’t take much outside a kiss to get him to give in. the first time you cook together, artem wonders why you hadn’t done it sooner. this man got hit with a wave of domesticity and adored the feeling. <33

he would take the lead though, so your job is basically to assist him with cutting, measuring, making sure everything is in place before you even start cooking. one of his favorite things to do is bring a spoon to your lips for you to taste; it makes him so soft and he just looks at you like you were hanging up the stars in the sky.

artem looks forward to coming home and cooking / baking with you, so the two of you end up saving a lot of money since you usually eat in. he ends up getting a habit of texting you recipes at various points throughout the day.

“ can’t believe you used to push me out of the kitchen... ”      “ one of my biggest regrets. ” “ oh artem, was just teasing you. ”      “ ah. but i meant it. ”

cooking with this dork is just pure chaos. his cooking skills have improved, but not by much -- he doesn’t burn most food now, so yay!! really everything depends on your own cooking skills whether or not the two of you will end up with something edible or if you’d have to just buy from a store.

but luke is trying his best though !! he loves spending any sort of time with you, so even if the end result isn’t what he’d hope for, the memory of the two of you cooking / baking makes the experience worth it. as long as you don’t burn down yours or his kitchen, then all was good in his book.

luke likes to pull (kinda sweet) little pranks on you though: pretending to have a little cut on his finger so you can kiss it better, smearing batter on his lips so you could remove it with yours. what a menace, you’re the luckiest <3

“ luke, not gonna lie, i think your cooking skills have gotten worse since dating me. ”      “ maybe, but i'm having a lot more fun. ” “ really? ”      “ really. oh, look...i have batter on my lips again. ”

ah yes, chaos being number two. marius can cook, but this man has had chefs cooking for him most of his life or is always ordering in / getting take out. he can cook if he really wanted to, he just chooses not too...until he met you. even so, something in him just wants to make the entire process more difficult.

it’s amazing that he hasn’t gotten salmonella or food poising from the amount of times he’s eaten raw cookie dough or cake / brownie batter. even when yous cold him, he just smirks at you and brings his fingers to his lips >:) doesn’t even help unless you specifically ask him too. marius just sits on the counter, watches you cook / bake, and talks your ear off.

likes “helping” with clean-up because it means he gets to splash water on you while you wash the dishes someone please stop this man. you’d complain, but even you had to admit that it’s never a dull moment when he’s around.

“ why do i even keep asking you to cook with me? ”      “ because you loooove meee, and i looove you. ” “ why do i even like having you around hmph- ”      “ it’s okay, yn, i like having you around too. ”

vyn agrees before you could even finish pitching the idea of cooking / baking together. you can also bet that he does the absolute most to prepare his kitchen; immediately going to the grocery store to stock up his pantry + make sure he has all the necessary materials -- we love an overachieving king! 

he probably has a ton of cookbooks at home and watches you browse through them for something to make. he’d have his head resting on his palm and just looks at you all soft <3 vyn usually follows recipes to a t, but not above making a few ~creative liberties~ to make sure everything is suited to your taste.

vyn is always touching you !! as he’s manoeuvring through the kitchen counters, his hand will make its way to your back, his arm will brush against yours, he’ll lightly hold onto your shoulder. whenever you try to call him out on it, you find yourself speechless because he’ll just have this small smile on his face c:

“ thank you, vyn. ”      “ what are you thanking me for, my darling? ” “ cooking with me, spending time with me...loving me. ”       “ you don’t have to thank me. especially not for the last one, i do that without you having to ask. ”

he’ll quickly put your worries to rest because you’re his first significant other as well! you definitely have to hold each other’s hands and guide each other throughout the process. the two of you have a rough idea of what a relationship is like through the media you’ve consumed, but experiencing one irl is certainly different.

anyone who catches sight of the two of you just let out audible little awwws at how adorable the two of you were being. they could tell at how shy you are with each other but they could also notice the affection the two of you hold in the way you looked at the other.

it was a big day for the two of you when you intertwined your fingers for the first time while holding hands. his face is bright red and his heart is hammering in his chest because !!! progress !!! really, he just loves you so much and wants you to be by his side for as long as possible.  

“ i love you, artem wing. ”      “ i love you as well, my first and last. ”

he’s fallen in love a few times, but given the nature of his work, they never really panned out into actual serious relationships. so when luke hears your worries on him being your first boyfriend, he explains that he feels like you are a sort of first for him as well. at least, the first he’s willing to put everything to make last.

so don’t be surprised when he offers you reassurance whenever you ask…even when you don’t. luke will always recognize the hesitance in your eyes when you’re with him and each time he takes your hands in his and presses a kiss to your knuckles, the quickest way to calm the storms in your head when they come. 

he doesn’t get tired of comforting you whenever you get unsure or insecure either. he understands where your uncertainty comes from so he answers your questions with the same amount of love and honesty each time.  

“ luke, do you ever wish you were with someone else? ”      “ i don’t think i could even fall in love with anyone else. ”

given his age and his position in pax group, marius doesn’t really have much time for relationships. sure, he may have had a few flings here and there during his time abroad, but he never really counted any of them as actual relationships. so, he gets a little insecure himself.

he wants to be able to take care of you and he wants you to know that you’re being taken care of. as self-assured as he is on the outside, marius honestly worries if you wanted to be with someone more matured and experienced. it takes a little bit of getting used to for the two of you.

comfort and reassurance comes late at night with you wrapped in his arms. it’s marius holding you as if you’d disappear if he ever loosens his grip. it’s soothing words leaving your lips as you watch his breathing get steadier with each one.   

“ i have a crazy idea: what if we break up and see other people then come back to each other? ”      “ do you really want that, marius? ” “ nah, was just teasin’ ya. you’re the only one i need. ”

he immediately picks up on your hesitance in beginning a relationship with him, knowing that he would be your first boyfriend. vyn doesn’t judge you at all and really sets aside the time for the two of you to have an honest conversation about how you’re feeling.

vyn has no issues about taking things at your pace. he really is in no rush as long as he gets to be with you at the end of it all. he wants to make sure that you feel comfortable enough to talk to him about any uncertainties or insecurities you have. and you bet that he’s going to do whatever it takes to put your mind at ease.

you’ve developed a habit of asking him every morning if he’s sure that he wants to be with you. each time, he presses a quick kiss to your lips before pressing another one to your forehead. his eyes holding the same amount of love and affection as the day before. 

“ are you sure? ”      “ my sweet, yn…i have never been more sure of anything else. ”

I have a small shih tzu dog and wanted to ask what tears boys would do when introduced / puppy sitting? My puppy is very much my shadow so I think approval is a must have.

stayed a few good feet away from your puppy the first time he met them. artem is just a little unsure of how exactly to approach them. he nods when your dog makes eye contact with him, introducing himself rather formally, “hello. my name is artem wing, yn’s partner.”

you laugh, amused at how nervous he was. you place a comforting hand on his shoulder, “relax.” it takes a few minutes for him to be completely comfortable with your puppy. you leave the room to check on on the water you were boiling for tea to find him hesitantly petting your dog and muttering, “cute.”

he almost denies your request of watching your puppy while you ran some errands for a few hours, insisting that he be the one to do it for you and you stay with your pet. but artem knew that if he wanted to be in your life for as long as he could -- and he does -- he’d have to agree.

you come home to artem taking a nap on your couch, your puppy turned up beside him. you take a quick picture before waking him up, making it your phone’s wallpaper. 

➶   luke pearce

chances are he’s thinking that you still have the same pet from when you were kids -- just older, and bigger. so imagine his surprise when he walks into your apartment to find a complete different puppy. he blinks back at the puppy for a few seconds before crouching down to pet them, “hey, you. name’s luke.”

it honestly surprises you how quick your puppy warms up to luke, but then again his sunny disposition makes it easier for him to interact with others. “i see the two of you are already close...” you trail off, teasing him a little. he gently nudges your shoulder with his, “don’t worry, i still love you more.”

accepts your request that he puppysit in a heartbeat, knowing that spending time with your puppy meant getting their approval. he’s aware that it would mean a lot to you if the two of them got along.

honestly, just down to vibe with whatever your dog wanted to do for the day. if they wanted to go to the park and play fetch, luke’s already grabbing their leash. if they wanted to stay at home, he keeps ‘em close by while he worked on cases.

literally jumped when your puppy started barking at him the second he walked in your apartment. he’s nervous, would you break up with him if he and the dog didn’t get along? he starts getting a little nervous but swallows it down, leaning down to whisper, “hi, please be good to me. i wanna be with yn for a long time, okay?”

he and your puppy have something in common in that they both love following you around. you send the two of them away to the living room so they don’t interrupt you while you cook lunch. marius’ laughter fills your apartment, letting you know that they were getting along well so it sends a smile to your face.

when you ask him to puppysit, he buys every single kind of dog toy and treat known to mankind -- maybe even a couple of cute little outfits. he really became an instagram dog dad, sending you cute pictures of your puppy every hour with little update : “they miss you! but i miss you more;)”

you come home to marius running around your apartment with your dog running after him -- really just the weirdest, sweetest sight.

you bet that this overachieving dork does his research when you inform him that you’d be introducing him to your puppy. more than anyone, he understands the importance of animal companions and the roles that they play in our lives and happiness. so vyn over here really wants to make a good impression on you and your puppy.

really does everything by the book so while he was panicking slightly when your puppy was initially apprehensive, it’s no surprise that your puppy would eventually warm up to him. your puppy crawls over to his lap and it makes vyn smile, “i hope this means you approve of me, little one.”

when you ask him to watch your puppy for a few hours, guess what he does? that’s right, more research! vyn wants to surprise you so he ends up teaching your puppy a few tricks.

when you return to find your puppy doing a trick he’s never done before, vyn pulls you close to his side with a proud look on his face -- he really did it to approve that you could rely on him and this could be your little family.

Nicknames that tears boys give their s/o and ones that their s/o gives to them?? I think it would be super cute.

he calls you by your name. for the first few weeks of your relationship, every single pet name sounded way too uncomfortable on his tongue. perhaps it’s part of the fact that he’s still trying to wrap his head around what it means to be in a relationship. though when he gets more comfortable, he begins to call you love. it’s short, simple, sweet, and it lets you know exactly what he feels for you.

you call him sweetheart, because that’s pretty much what he is. the first time you call him that, it was pretty much a slip of the tongue but it had him blushing like crazy. since then, you’ve called him by that pet name and it has always produced the same result. something about the nickname just sounds so heart-racing when it comes from you.

“ would you mind getting the files on my desk, yn-- love? ”      “ of course, sweetheart. ”

➶   luke pearce

even before you started dating, luke was already calling you babe. it started off as a joke, calling you by that pet name usually meant that he was teasing. but the shift in your relationship came with a change in the meaning, now luke means it in a more romantic sense. though sometimes -- just to mess with you -- he calls you names like pal, buddy, friend, bestie. 

before you started dating, there are times when you’d coo at him and call him baby. there was never any awkwardness on your end whenever you called him that so the transition into a romantic relationship was pretty seamless. though you’ve been calling him by that name for the longest time, it never fails to make his heart flutter like wow...he’s your baby?

“ hey, friend. ready to go out to the cafe? ”      “ baby. ” “ relax...ready for our date, babe? ”

➶   marius von hagen

this man lives for the way you roll your eyes when he calls you a barrage of the cheesiest, corniest names that he could think of : honeypie, angel face, buttercup, etc. all of which he says in quick succession. his voice is always teasing, drawing out the syllables in a songlike manner. but when he’s feeling much more serious or romantic, he reverts to the classics, particularly darling or babe. 

his face goes red when you call him baby boy or lover boy. whether it’s teasing or completely serious, it achieves the same effect: his heart going doki doki. he pretends that he doesn’t like it but he pouts when you call him by any other name -- even his own. 

“ lovebug, sugarplum, cupcake, cutie~ ”      “ one more word and you lose lover boy privileges. ” “ aw, c’mon-- don’t be like that, darling. ”

➶   vyn richter

one of his favorite things is waking up next to you, laughing at the groan that escapes your lips when the sunlight hits your face. vyn likes to tease you by calling you sunshine. but most of the time, he calls you dear / my dear / dearest. because, well as cheesy as it sounds, you are very dear to him and his heart so it’s very fitting.

something about you calling him honey just sends sparks straight through his heart. truth be told, you didn’t even mean to call him that at first. but as you were looking at his eyes, no other pet name seemed right.

“ good morning, sunshine. ”      “ mmph--too early, honey. ” “ alright, dear. five more minutes. ”

➶   artem wing

it takes a bit of convincing to get him to agree to you shadowing him at work. not because he doesn't want you there -- believe me, this man will make up any excuse to spend more time with you -- it's just that he knows celestine will be clowning him the entire time.

but it's ok, a bit of teasing is worth it when he sees the huge smile that spread across your lips when he finally agrees. he pretty much briefs the entire firm on your appearance the day before, "my significant other will be coming with me to work tomorrow, please act accordingly." (code for : do not embarrass or clown me please)

he takes you on a paperwork-heavy day so you stay in his office for the majority of the time. artem thinks he's boring you with the amount of legal jargon he's throwing your way when he talks about cases.

but when you tell him that you actually find it interesting, his eyes just light up!! and when you do little things throughout the day -- like get him coffee or brush away the hair that falls on his face as he's reading -- it makes him feel so loved and cared for.

"perhaps i should bring you to work more often..."

➶   luke pearce

this man wants nothing more than to keep you safe, so it takes a lot more convincing to get him to agree. though just hit him with a pout and a pleading look in your eyes and he’ll be folding so quick. as much as luke wants to protect you, he also wants you happy.

most of your day with him is essentially a field trip around the city as he gathers clues and interviews witnesses for his investigation. he tries to keep everything fun and lighthearted by telling you a few fun anecdotes from all the cases he’s worked, and he keeps you engaged by asking for your opinions and actually considering it

but when he’s in interrogation mode? oh boy...at first, he tries to get you to leave the room because he doesn’t want you see him all threatening and serious...however, you hold your ground and he’s left with no choice but to let you stay.

luke snaps back into his usual self as soon as he’s got the information he needs apologises profusely, not wanting you to see him act that way...but you hold his head in your hands and tell him that you love all sides of him...mans heart just melts.

“i- you mean that? thank you, yn...”

➶   marius von hagen

bold of you to assume that he’s not the one who suggested that you shadow him? marius will literally take any opportunity to show off how amazing and wonderful you are!! part of you expected that you’d just be quietly sitting in the corner of a conference room but nooope! suddenly your hear your name being called and marius is asking for your input?

gets you your own ID card for the office and everything! marius really goes the extra mile and presents it to you with a smile on his face, “it has the same level of access as mine, so if I get into a meeting and you can’t come with...feel free to explore!” :D

and you’re just like- is that allowed?? can he do that?? i'm only going to be around for one (1) day!! but of course, he sees it as invitation for you to come around the office more often.

you and vincent become instant besties as you occasionally run around the city with him when marius asks for something and he had other matters to attend to. marius pretends to act upset about it but he likes that the two of you get along.

“should i be worried about..you and vincent...? ah, i'm just kidding, i know you love me.”

➶   vyn richter

since you’ve already expressed interest in knowing more about his field, vyn lets you shadow him during lectures! he introduces you to the class as his teaching assistant, but they could all tell that you were clearly something more in the way his gaze always seemed to land to where you were seated. 

a few students actually came up to you when class ended, telling you that you and vyn seemed like a good match, asking questions on how you met, and asking how vyn is outside of being professor / criminal psychologist extraordinaire. of course, you answer all their questions with a smile on your face until vyn pulls you away.

keeps you busy with paperwork. he hands you an answer key so you could check the objective parts of his students’ tests for him. the two of you fall into a comfortable silence as you checked papers side by side in his office.

when all is said and done, he takes you out for a bite to eat as a thank you for all your hard work. you shake your head, telling him that you barely did anything besides listen to his lectures and check a few papers.

“you misunderstand...you have done so much simply by providing me with your presence.”

i do not ask for much- only to spend an entire day with my boys <3

Fun date ideas with tot boys?

a few dates with the tot boys <3

➶   artem wing

drives to nowhere : one hand on the steering wheel, the other hand is holding yours. artem would bring your hand to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your knuckles. every now and then, he takes his eyes off the road just to look at you. it would never last longer than a few seconds, only to remind himself just how lucky he is to have you.

people-watching at a park : the two of you don’t actively go out to do this, it’s something that just happens. artem’s observant by nature, and he’ll turn to you with an intrigued expression. the two of you make an entire game out of it, coming up with possible life stories. at first they start off normal but unfold to become more and more chaotic.

“ artem, what do you think people would say if they were watching us? ”      “ hmmm…that guy looks at his partner like they’re his whole world. ”

➶   luke pearce 

building a pillow / blanket fort : he’ll bring over several blankets and pillows from his own apartment, trying his hardest to suppress the pink flush that spread across the entirety of his face. luke teases you when your side of the fort threatened to collapse, but he’ll help you fix it with a kiss on your cheek and a smile on his lips.

arcade : it takes him back to the your days in high school, trying to win you several little trinkets and plushies. even several years later, it’s still what he does. luke’s heart skips several beats when he hears you cheering for him to get the basketball in the hoop, when you wrap an arm around him in comfort when the claw drops the plushie just as he’s about to win it.

“ awe, that’s okay, baby! maybe we should go to another game? ”      “ nope, ‘m not leaving until i win you that plush bird! it looks like peanut! ”      

➶   marius von hagen

beach trip : he loves the scent of salt in the air, hearing the waves crashing along the shore, but neither of those things could compare to being in your company. marius turns his phone off, not wanting to receive any calls or texts from anyone, wanting to completely indulge himself in your presence. he’s also not above pushing you in the water.  

wandering around furniture stores : neither of you even have to be there to buy anything, you and marius just loved going through the displays and playing house. he walks through the “front door” or your “living room” with a smile on his face like he had just gotten off work. he pretends to be cooking in the “kitchen” with pans and display toys. it gives marius a glimpse of his future with you.

“ never thought that this would actually be fun… ”      “ yeah…uh, yn? all this has been fun, but what about we do it for real? move in with me? ”

➶   vyn richter

camping : he will always carve out spaces in his weekends to be with you, sometimes it’s the entirety of his weekend. vyn adores the long drive to the campsite, takes every opportunity to show off the tiniest bit with his knowledge on nature, and seeing the moonlight shining down on your features. more than anything, he loves it when you cuddle up to his side despite the bonfire warming the two of you up. 

breakfast dates : very few things get him up and running so early in the morning. there’s a furrow in his brows and a frown on his face as he waits outside the cafe, wishing he was back in the comfort of his bed. but all that melts away when vyn catches sight of you walking towards him, a light in his eyes and the corners of his lips twitching upwards.

“ vyn, sorry for getting you up this early… ”      “ oh, it’s alright. you’re worth it. ”

his blue eyes flicker back and forth between the screen in front and the person beside him, a quiet sigh moving past artem’s lips when he feels a gentle weight push down on his shoulder. your eyes are closed, your mouth parted open, features riddled with exhaustion from the events of the past week. artem knew more than anyone just how hardworking you are. in fact, it had become one of the things he’d grown to love about you. however, he hated seeing you like this. brows slightly furrowed, shoulders tensed, even as sleep had finally begun to overtake you. it was a sight he had grown accustomed to in the past few days.

perhaps that’s why artem had taken his first day off in months, telling celestine over the phone that something of greater concern had come up. maybe that’s why he insisted on running all your errands for the day, on cooking all of your meals, on shutting down your laptop and insisting that you watch a movie with him instead.

you stir in your sleep, snuggling closer to his side. your voice is quiet, just loud enough for him to hear, “thank you.”

artem smiles, glad that you’ve noticed his efforts, but happier to see the tension in your shoulders and the furrow in your brows disappearing. “i’d do anything for you, my love.” 

➶   luke pearce

one of his hands is on your head, the other is rubbing soothing circles on your back. there’s an aching tug on luke’s heart as he holds you close to his chest, an act that would normally cause it to skip a few beats. but not today. not as violent sobs raked across the entirety of your body and tears threatened to stain your cheeks, soaking through the cotton material of his shirt. luke isn’t always one to become at a loss for words, but when you walked in the room, collapsed in his arms, and cried out the stress that built up in the past week, every word of comfort that flashed through his mind always seemed to fall short.

so he lets you get it out of your system, nodding his head at every complaint that left your lips. luke lets you wrap your arms around his neck, lets you scream about how much you’ve overworked yourself these past couple of days.

and when all is said and done, when you finally pull away, his thumbs wipe away any tears that may have remained and cups your face in his hands. luke presses his lips to your forehead, “for what it’s worth, i’m so proud of you for getting through it. but know that you don’t have to get through it alone, okay?”

➶   marius von hagen

a light breeze blows past the individual blades of grass, the sun just beginning its descent on the horizon. your lips are pressed into a thin line, gaze steely as you looked ahead, not even sparing him a single glance. the park was filled with different kinds of people : from kids running around to couples taking an afternoon stroll, just like the of you were. yet, marius couldn’t help but feel the tiniest bit alone…and helpless. he wan’t used to seeing you like this. normally, you’d be hitting his shoulder as he told you a cheesy pickup line. the usual cheery and teasing disposition of your relationship is nowhere to be found with marius only being able to stare you, wondering if it was even a good idea to take you out for a walk.

“i’m sorry. let’s just go home, i know you have work.” 

you stop in your tracks, tugging his hand slightly. taking a deep breath before speaking, “no. i needed this. thank you.”

marius’ eyes widen in surprise, squeezing your hand in reassurance before bringing it up to his lips, “i’m glad to hear that…if you ever need an escape, don’t think twice and tell me okay? i’ll whisk you away even at two in the morning.”

you chuckle, shaking your head at him, “i’ll keep that in mind.”

“promise?”

“promise.”

➶   vyn richter

the cup of tea warms your hands and spreads through the entirety of your system, your eyes focusing on the pale smoke that rose from the drink vyn had just prepared you. he sits across you, with golden eyes that seem to look through his glasses and into the deepest recesses of your mind. vyn is waiting for you to speak first, patiently sipping on his own tea as you gathered the courage to speak on what has been bothering you for the past week. it’s practically impossible to hide anything from him, so part of you knew this conversation was a long time coming.

still, you couldn’t help but feel nervous despite the fact that he is your significant other. vyn was the type of person to seem so calm and composed in every situation, making you feel like your own problems were much paler in comparison.

you feel a gentle touch on your knee, snapping you out of your thoughts. his voice is soft as he speaks, “i know it has been a difficult week, darling…and whatever it is you are feeling, it is completely valid.”

 just like that, the dam broke. vyn rushes to your side within seconds, taking your hands in his, “you are the strongest person i’ve had the privilege of knowing. we will get through this.”

Thanksgiving with tears guys? With their s/o? With nyxx? All 3?

the tot boys + thanksgiving <3

artem wing

with his s/o : wants you to cook with him :) lives for the calm moments where it’s just the two of you. navigating around kitchen counters, and each other, music playing from the record player in the living room. his heart flutters when you bring the spoon up to his lips, asking for his opinion on the dish you were making. lives for the domesticity of the scene, holds your hand through most of the dinner, presses his lips to your knuckles every now and then. “you know what i'm most thankful for? you, my love. my yn.” 

with nxx : takes it upon himself to cook for everyone !! mostly because he doesn’t trust anyone else to do it. constantly driving luke and marius out of the kitchen and is one more ‘is the food ready yet?’ from dropkicking both of them. probably the most stressed out of everyone, only thankful when the chaos is over and everyone has sat down to eat. gets a little bashful when everyone compliments his cooking. thinks it’s a prank but accepts the compliments anyway. 

luke pearce

with his s/o : the two of you end up ordering in, scanning through various delivery menus on the living room floor, arguing over which restaurant to order from before eventually settling on ordering at every single one. refuses to let you pay for anything, but when you hit him with a pout, he eventually gives in. watching movies the entire day in the comfort of the pillow + blanket fort that the two of you have built. his arms are wrapped around you, placing occasional kisses on the top of your head. “i'm thankful for every single day i get to spend with you.” 

with nxx : is in charge of post-dinner entertainment, which really just meant that he gets to pick the movies after all is said and done. he asks what everyone is in the mood to watch, but that doesn’t mean that he’ll actually listen. maybe he considered, but just for a few seconds and he picks a horror movie to scare everyone (+ makes sure to sit next to you so you can hide behind him). the other three see through his attempt to become much closer to you and are upset they didn’t think of it themselves >:)

marius von hagen

with his s/o : takes you to meet his dad <3 of course, you’re a little nervous because that’s !! his !! dad !! but marius does everything he can to reassure you that everything is going to be fine. there are seats in the dining table reserved for his mom and giann, and you can’t help the little ache that creeped into your chest at how marius and his father must feel since they’re unable to spend thanksgiving with them. you take it upon yourself to make sure that things go well, filling up what could have been a tense silence with stories of your own and asking about his mom and giann, making sure to keep their memories alive + make it seem like they were there with you. marius knows what you’re doing and he appreciates it. “thank you for being here, for being with me. i'll make sure you don’t regret it.” 

with nxx : sets the table, except this man really went all out !! he spent hours scrolling through pinterest to find inspiration for his table settings, 99% chance that he has a vision board in his studio ready to go weeks before thanksgiving. you can bet he goes the extra mile and buys all of the utensils, table cloth, center pieces, etc. instead of asking the host (vyn) what he has lying around the house. even brings along a nice punpikin-scented candle to set the mood. 

vyn richter

with his s/o : wants to meet your family. it’s not that he’s pressuring you, of course, he’s just very grateful fro the people who have brought you to the world, and to him. not even a little bit nervous. before you know it, he’s charming literally every single person in the household and they’re all begging for you to keep him around forever. of course, they could all just tell the amount of love that he has for you, his golden eyes shining whenever he looked across the table at you. though, he’s not above asking for the silliest stories from your youth and listening just a little too intently. “don’t be shy now, yn. I'm happy to hear these stories, to get to know you before i came into the picture. i'm the luckiest man on earth, and i'm always grateful that the universe has led you to me.”    

with nxx : offers to host. and that’s it. well, not really. he does bake a few pies for everyone to enjoy for dessert, but he’s already done that the night before so he can literally do nothing on the where everyone comes over. he’s just lounging in his home office, glass of red wine as he goes through a few bits of work. artem’s in the kitchen, marius is setting the table + decorating, and luke’s queuing up movies -- he just lets out the biggest breath of relief and asks you to come over early so you can spend time with him while everyone else busies themselves with prep work >:)

ok disclaimer that i'm from the ph and we don't really do thanksgiving, so a lot of this is based on my assumption of what thanksgiving is like from the media i consume ;-; anyways, happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate (am not too late right?? haha) and a general happy week to those who don’t :D

Fall activities with tears boys?

fall activities with the tot boys <3

artem wing + apple pie bakeoff !

it started off with both of you simply craving some apple pie one afternoon. unfortunately, neither of you could decide who would be the one to make it. artem wanted you to sit back and relax, so he could work his magic in the kitchen. you, on the other hand, wanted to show off a bit and see your boyfriend’s surprised face when you make him the most amazing apple pie. one playful argument about who’s the better baker later, the two of you have set up individual stations in the kitchen trying to make your versions of apple pie. music is playing the background, the scent of various spices like cinnamon fill the air. you throw flour at him, he throws it back at you. it ends in a draw, the two of you eating pie on the couch and watching your favourite fall films <3

luke pearce + scary stories by a fire !

both of you spend the entire day researching scary stories with the hope of freaking out or terrifying the other. once the sun has set, the night is cold and dark, and the fireplace is lit and warm, you and luke sit by the fire exchanging some of the internet’s scariest stories. it takes a lot to freak luke out, and he genuinely feels terrible when he catches you flinching at some of the stories he tells. he looks at you, concern evident on his features, a hand on your knee as he asks if he should continue the story. he can’t help but fall for you even more when you nod, a determined look in your eyes as you wrap your blanket tighter around your shoulders. luke lets out a little chuckle before continuing, making little comments along the way about how he’d protect you from all the ghouls that even thought about threatening you <3

marius von hagen + pumpkin carving !

honestly, this man will take any opportunity that allows his artistic side to shine. you weren’t even the one who brings up pumpkin carving in the first place. marius just asked you if you were free for the rest of the afternoon and when you said that you were, he just shows up to your apartment with two pumpkins that were perfect for carving. of course, he’ll also take any opportunity to stare at you for an extended period of time so he insists that you carve each other’s faces. and no matter how many times  you protest the idea, you eventually end up giving in - especially when he hits you with the cutest pleading eyes and pouting bottom lip. marius looks up every now and then to tell you how amazing you are, but adding in a little comment about how his pumpkin was going to be much better than yours (even though you’re unsure if you even agreed to a competition in the first place??) <3

vyn richter + getting lost in a corn maze !

okay, full disclosure- vyn could actually get you out of the maze in like, five minutes if he really wanted to...but here's, the thing- he doesn’t really want to do that. vyn loves spending time with you and he will take any chance to prolong it. so he lets you navigate, letting you hold his hand as you weaved in and out of different paths and turning all the corners you could ever want to turn. he just looks at you softly, fondly, as you dragged him around and talked about anything and everything that came across your mind. however, when you eventually give up on finding the exit, only then will vyn take the lead and guide the two of you out - but not without making a few intentional wrong turns just so he can hear you gush about all the fall activities you could do together just for a couple of minutes longer <3

“what do you want me to do, celestine? do you want me to walk into that restaurant? ruin yn’s date, say ‘sorry to interrupt, but you should be with me’? is that it?”

artem says it all in a single breath, chest rising and falling at a rapid rate, matching the beating of his own heart. his eyes narrow at celestine, but they didn’t hold a single trace of anger. instead, they held the kind of longing that broke celestine’s heart. 

she had been there for him since day one of his blooming feelings for you, an ache filling her chest at artem’s distressed state. she crosses her arms in front of her, raising a brow, “is that what you want to do?”

celestine stares him down, challenging him to tell both her and himself the truth. neither made an attempt to say anything further or to move from their respective spots. 

it takes a while, but artem finally sighs. his eyes screwed shut, hands moving to massage his temples. “yes.”

“then why are you still here?”

artem had never bolted out his office doors before, but there’s a first time for everything.

Fluffy HC or fic for Marius and his s/o painting together? Maybe one smears paint on X nose and a battle ensues? Ty!

painting with marius <3

when you first bring up the idea of wanting to paint with him, marius eyes’ just immediately light up! he agrees without a single moment of hesitation and is already asking vincent to clear up his schedule as soon as possible. 

he buys you a completely brand new set of brushes + paint + a canvas, despite your multiple protests that you could buy your own...but nope <3 marius wants you to have the absolute best, even if you weren’t exactly as professional as he was when it came to the art form.

marius also gets the two of you matching aprons with your names embroidered on them <3 they’re always hanging near the entrance of his studio, just in case painting becomes a regular thing for you...just drop by his studio any time you want.

speaking of his studio, there is now a designated ‘yn corner’ where he keeps all your tools and artworks. whenever you come around, you’ll always find a post it note stuck on the blank canvas. some notable ones are: “but what if YOU are the art?” + “you’re more breathtaking than any work of art”

anyways, on to actual painting with him hcs...marius stares at you. A LOT. he adores the completely focused look in your eyes, the way your brows knitted together in concentration. every now and then he looks up from his own work, only to find himself completely breathless at the sight of you.

always asking how you’re doing. it’s not that he has no faith in your artistic skills, but he’s secretly hoping that you would ask him for help so the two of you can share a ~moment~

even if you say that you’re doing alright, marius still makes his way to your canvas and shows you “how to properly hold the brush”. really, he just wants to hold your hand. as cocky and as flirty as he is, you honestly can’t miss the pink tint that spread across his cheeks.

sometimes, he likes to have music playing in the background. marius will often use his brush as a makeshift microphone and dramatically sing to you while he’s waiting for certain portions of his artwork to dry. your reactions -- whether it’s rolling your eyes or a laugh escaping your lips -- are the reasons why making a fool of himself is somewhat worth it.

though, if you do ask him for actual constructive criticism, marius is more than willing to give it to you. his voice is always calm when he’s giving his feedback and it always ends with a quick peck to your cheek.

makes sure to frame your artworks, one of them is in the living room in his apartment. marius is always trying to get people to ask about it so he can gush about you.

“hey, yn!”

you turn to face marius as soon as his voice falls on your ears, only to be met with something cool on the tip your nose. your eyes instinctively shut in surprise, opening them to find marius with the largest shit-eating grin playing on his lips. he’s not even attempting to hide it.

“marius! von! hagen!” 

he sheepishly shrugs his shoulders, knowing that the anger that laced your voice was most likely fake. however, as you move closer and closer to him, he fails to notice the paintbrush hidden behind your back.

“to be fair, you look cute with paint all over your face.”

instead of a proper reply, you reach out and paint a streak of pink paint on his cheek. “now, you look cute too.”

marius blinks back at you, processing your actions before moving to run after you, “oh. you’re gonna pay for that.”

“going to have to catch me first!”

needless to say, neither of you finished your paintings that afternoon.

❥   artem wing

he knew the second you shut the door that he had messed up. artem wing was not one to lose his temper, his work as a lawyer made sure that he keeps a level head most of the time. but he had crossed a line, words that he didn’t mean flew out of his mouth. he didn’t mean it when he asked you to leave, it was simply his anger talking. all he wanted to do now was run after you. apologize. tell you that it was all his fault. 

but his feet are rooted to the ground, all the air in his lungs feel like it had just got knocked out. it doesn’t even register when tears start streaming down his face. he had worked so hard to build a relationship with you, only to have it end like this.

artem throws all of his weight onto the couch, scolding himself for letting you go that easy. his eyes are puffy, but he forces them to stay open. he wouldn’t be moving an inch until you came home. it doesn’t matter if calls from work began ringing in his ears, or the exhaustion from the fight creeps in, you were more important. 

he isn’t aware of how much time had passed when he hears the door creak open, your footsteps familiar and comforting as you make your way towards him. you kneel in front of him and put a hand on his cheek, “ ‘m sorry for leaving, you must have been worried.”

“no, don’t.” artem shakes his head, “it was my fault…i understand if you want to break up, i was too much. i don’t deserve you.”

the pure heartbreak in his eyes and voice sends an ache to your chest, “don’t say that. all couples go through rough patches. i won’t leave, just as long as you promise to do the same.” 

“i could never leave you.” artem rests your foreheads together, hoping you felt the sincerity in his words. in that moment, he made a vow to himself that he’d never let you go again.

❥   luke pearce

“ynnnnn.” he whines, a pout forming on his bottom lip. luke is not used to you ignoring him, not when his favorite thing to do is talk to you. his brows furrow when you don’t respond, choosing to cross your arms and turn away from him. playful banter, joking, and teasing is pretty much commonplace in your relationship, both of you would pretty much consider it essential. however, he didn’t think about his words today: bringing up one of your biggest insecurities.

you only choose the silent treatment on the very rare occasion that he goes too far. it happens maybe once in a blue moon, but it doesn’t lessen the hurt that you feel when it does. you’ve known luke for the longest time, and you know that he most likely didn’t mean it. but there’s still a clench in your chest as his words replay in your head like a broken record, taunting you to no end. 

luke sighs when you move to the farthest end of the couch just as soon as he leaned in towards you. he’s aware that his teasing had gone too far. he knows he was at fault, wishing that he could time travel to a few minutes ago to put a hand over his mouth.

there’s a poking sensation on your bare arm and shoulders, you lips forming a frown knowing who exactly was the cause of it. you turn your head towards luke to find him pulling his finger back, his eyes completely apologetic.

“i’m sorry,” luke speaks, breaking the tense silence that had descended between the two of you, “i didn’t mean it. i wasn’t thinking.”

“for a private detective, you need to use your head more.” you mumble, gently hitting his chest. the weight on your shoulders lightens the slightest bit, you knew that he didn’t mean his earlier words but needed the vocal confirmation.

luke laughs at your words, wrapping an arm around you. a breath of relief escapes him when you place your head on his shoulder, “i do, thanks for putting up with me. i love you more than anything.”

❥   marius von hagen

his hands are shaking as he sends out text after text, each more frazzled and filled with more spelling errors than the last. but that didn’t matter to marius, what matter is you got the emotion — the sincerity and desperation — in each of those messages. he wanted to scream, let go of the tears that had been welling up in his eyes, but he couldn’t. he had to return to a meeting, that very same meeting that made him miss your date.

you understood more than anyone that your boyfriend was a busy man. between attending university and running a company, it left very little time in the day for you. and maybe calling him in the middle of a meeting just to argue wasn’t the best move, but you didn’t know he had a meeting in the first place. rubbing your temples with your fingers, you slide down your doorway with a sigh, trying to ignore the pinging of your phone from his messages.    

“shit.” marius hisses, eyes darting back and forth between the meeting room entrance and the elevator. his heart is pounding in his chest, the thought of losing you too unbearable. with a text to his assistant, he bolts out of the building to his car.

the knocking on your door is frantic, startling you. the tears on your cheek have dried up but new ones threaten to form out the corners of your eyes when you open the door only to find marius on the other side, “what are you doing here?”

your tone of voice is cold, causing him to flinch. his breathing is heavy having run up the stairs to your floor, too antsy to wait for the elevator. he waits for a couple of seconds before wrapping his arms around you, “don’t break up with me. please. i’m so sorry, i fucked up. i’ll do better, just don’t leave.” 

it’s the pure despair in his words that causes you to put a hand on his back, rubbing soothing circles. you pull away and force him to look at you with a smile, “come in, let’s talk.”

❥   vyn richter

his grip on your wrist is both commanding and gentle, a feat you’re unsure how he was able to achieve. but it stops you from leaving the room just as you’ve placed your other hand on the doorknob. the two of you sigh, both uncertain as to how a petty argument lead to a screaming match that had you threatening to walk out the door, never to return.

vyn prided himself on rarely losing his cool or raising his voice, his line of work pretty much demanded that he didn’t. when he got into a relationship with you, he promised himself to never let his emotions get the better of him, to talk things out with you instead of lashing out. he doesn’t know why he had seemed to forget this tonight.

you shake his hand off, finally turning to face him after a minute of silence that felt like an entire hour. there’s tension on your shoulders and a weight in his, chests rising and falling at a rapid rate as the two of you caught your breaths. you’re staring each other down, waiting to see who will budge first.

“listen-”

“i’m-”

vyn’s eyes widen when both of you speak at the same time, fully believing that he should be the one to apologize considering that it was him who raised his voice first. still, you were asking him to listen so he stands down and lets you speak.

“i don’t want to leave…or break up.”

“i don’t want that either.” 

you’re biting the inside of your cheek, your heart hammering in your chest at the sadness present on tears are threatening to spill down your face when you feel his fingers underneath your chin, gently tilting your head up to look at him.

“you are the love of my life.” vyn speaks with full certainty and sincerity, “i apologize that i let things grow out of hand tonight…i may not be able to promise you that it won’t happen again, but i can promise that i won’t let you go. at the end of it all, i will make things alright. forgive me?”
