Don't worry, basically any getting to know you question is okay so long as it isn't going to give people any way to potentially find me IRL... I'm paranoid, and I don't want to have to look my younger brother in the eye and explain that I write self-insert style fanfiction about block men, you know? /hj

As for music, my family lovingly describes my taste as "eclectic".

My favourite band of all time is called Silly Wizard; they're a Scottish folk group who released their last album in 1987. I also listen to a lot of musical soundtracks, like Heathers, Wicked, anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Les Miserables....

Currently, I'm pretty into Corpse and The Longest Johns, and I've been looping "Pebblebrain" since its release. I'm also back into Le Vent du Nord, a French Canadian folk group.

I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock, so I enjoy groups like Kansas and Styx. My mom really likes Frankie Valli, so he's grown on my over the years. Her favourite artist is Bob Dylan, so he's nostalgic for me. Also, Chris de Burgh... "Don't Pay the Ferryman" is in contention for my favourite song ever.

Historically, I've been very into the punk/rock/pop punk scene, so like MCR and Green Day, Linkin Park, Rise Against, etc. I also enjoy very niche metal genres, like pirate metal (Alestorm) or historical metal (Sabaton).

On the other end of the spectrum, I listen to Jpop. I really like the group ⁰C-ute, who disbanded in 2017, but one of their members stayed in music, and I like her stuff-- Airi Suzuki.

I was really into 1D when they were still together, but I never really got into anyone's solo stuff. We don't have a radio at work, so I'm pretty out of touch with today's Pop hits lol

Anyways, this got long, I'm sorry haha. So yeah. That's my taste in music....
