It has been awhile since she left her bedroom in Askr. Her phone is currently blowing up from a lot of unanswered texts, but is ignoring it all. Not that she wants to. Her heart is just hurting, as if an old wound had been reopened.

Lying on her bed, she stares at the ceiling. Regardless of what she does, she’s going to make people worry. She just wanted some time alone without telling anyone. To disappear without a trace for awhile. She sighs heavily. She thinks about multiple scenarios and possibilities. She would probably be harassed less at home, but leaving her supposed responsibilities unchecked would be bad. She does trust the tacticians here in her stead, even though she’s glorified as the best… she knows she isn’t.

She doesn’t even know why she’s so sought after if it wasn’t for her title. No one wanted her before, so why do they want her now? She rubs her face from all the racing thoughts going though her head. She’s nothing special; just average. She maybe a dragonewt, but she feels lesser than everyone. She shakes her head. Maybe a bubble bath would help drown out the bad thoughts.

Swampy is overlooking the Bridal Festival from the garden fountain, looking a little glum. While she is happy to see Roy and Lilina having fun (although nervously), she feels like she can’t be fully into this festival. Something about it made her heartstrings twinge in loneliness. She knows she’ll likely be alone for the rest of her life, being a monster. Though having being mistreated so much in her past, she does find it hard to get close to people nowadays.

Her gaze lowers and she lazily stares at the floor. What does... true love feel like? This question has lingered around her head for awhile. She assumes it would look something like the love between Sigurd and Deirdre, but sometimes it takes time for love to blossom and bloom, like Alm and Celica... She sighs. She assumes it comes in many forms and she witnessed two kinds of it.

She may not have interest in love, but the loneliness in her heart remains. She isn’t sure what kind of loneliness it is either. She shakes her head. Just thinking about it made her needlessly sad during a time of happiness.
