completely useless headcanons

while most horses tend to have an affinity for pax, there was an old plow nag named buckberry that HATED him. the family used her to till the garden, but couldn’t when they had pax out helping. for some reason or another, she would try biting and stomping him. if he got caught out in the pasture by her, he’d have to sprint to the nearest fence and climb over it to get away. one time she caught him sleeping up against a fence post, reached over the board & yanked a tuff of his hair out. buckberry was an ill tempered old horse and he hated her in turn.
