okay i’ve been curious about how much dalc are worth in our currency for a while so i went and reread the manga to see if i could find anything and i did!!!

(read the notes if you wanna know why i didn’t go off the translation)

300 dalc is approximately 100,000 yen (万=10,000) so 1 dalc would be approximately 333 yen (333.33 if you wanna be specific)

so yeah if you wanna work out how much something costs in spy x family just multiple the no. of dalc by 333.33 and that will be how much japanese yen it is. then convert that into your currency

for example that castle rent earlier in the manga (chapter 6) was 50,000 dalc

50,000 x 333.33 = 16,666,500 yen

then convert yen to your currency

i use aud so 50,000 dalc would be $175,631.80

i’m fairly certain that i got all this and correct but it’s nearly 5 am. if it isn’t correct please tell me and i’ll fix it
