(I just had the greatest worst idea of the tonitonis being able to eat brains.

specifically the parts of the brain that deal with memory encoding and storage, with the tonitonis' own irminsul biology Somehow allowing for them to digest in order to specifically obtain memories, information or even skillsets depending on the part of the brain consumed................

this is terrible bc I already joke about my tonitonis being "the living dead" by virtue of being reanimated/resurrected corpses. brain eating really would hammer in the zombie associations dhhdnddnndndndndj

on the other hand tho......... not gonna lie, but this is kinda a cool af idea to me SJSSSJSSNNDJD also it would ramp up the utter horror aspect of both my tonis (I mean, they both literally Died and then their cadavers (or the torn remains of it, in the smol one's case) got implanted with magical tree roots, which is Kinda horrifying if u think abt it) and also serve to Really hammer home the point that they're 1. not human 2. dangerous af
