The thing that fucks me up about Public Favor is that like… Enji didn’t drop that low? #17 is probably super high, all things considered. But it was still enough to let his death be overshadowed by his murderer? I bet 18 and down are starting to sweat bullets.

Absolutely in love with the idea that this ushers in a sort of Battle Royale logic where conceivably any higher-ranking hero than you would be able to murder you and get away with it.

(Like never mind the specific nuances of the Todoroki family) but like if the dude who absolutely hates your fucking guts pulls ahead of you in the next popularity poll, ...lock your door at night.
