❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you?

Unfortunately yes :( my old fandom was tiny af and there was rarely any double at all. So when I had beef with people who wrote the main characters, it was really hard to keep enjoying the series without seeing these people everywhere, or thinking about them when I watched the anime or played the games :(

I try my best to "reclaim" the characters that people ruined. Usually that takes someone else writing them, or writing them myself in a fic. It's more or less effective ;w;

✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?

I've been around since 2014 so needless to say it has changed a LOT :') I took some sort of break around 2020-2021 too, and when I came back it felt super different. Back in my days (shakes cane), there were a lot more single-muse blogs, and people cared a lot less about aesthetics. I also feel like everything was a lot more... casual? Maybe it's because I was in a small fandom, but it really felt like a community. Everyone was constantly interacting and dash commenting with each other, sending asks without prompts, and generally just taking interest in each other's muses without feeling forced.

Granted, I had a LOT more free time back then, so there's no way I could ever match that level of activity and enthusiasm again. It's probably nostalgia talking but logging in felt a lot more like a relief and less like a chore :(

To her, it'd make sense why she'd need to ask that question. He wasn't the one who ended up manipulating her as it was the other way around during those days when she was nothing more than some puppet dancing on marionette strings.

when it comes to reflecting on her actions , not a lot at all . in the midst of battle with a monster she has ran into trees & fallen on her face by making the same mistake over & over again . if someone else points out her flaws , she’s more likely to sit down & think about ways she can improve .

when it comes to situations involving others , especially situations dealing with human lives & emotions — she’s a tad bit more careful . she has hurt people’s feelings before & has abandoned someone she was assigned to protect . those moments , while rectified , stay with her & she reminds herself to be more conscious about others .

Things I like my RP partners to know.

I like to be called: ash, since that’s my name! but star is fine too. or anything else, really, assuming you’ve asked first and i’m aware you’re referring to me!

One thing you should know about me: i’m VERY slow at replies, both due to the fact that i’m a pretty slow writer in general as well as my living situation being miserable. makes it very hard to focus for extended periods. BUT...... if you can bear with me and not drop our threads just because i’m more likely to respond every other week than the day after, you have my entire heart and i’ll stick with you for the long haul!

One thing you should know about RPing with my character(s): i’ll seldom budge on my characterization for any character i write and red is no exception. he may be the one whose characterization i get the most protective of, actually, since i’ve been developing him for a decade and a half now. so if you complain about how his backstory is “too edgy” or tell me that he should “just talk to make conversation easier,” which people have absolutely done in the past, i take pretty strong offense! not to say that you guys can’t ask me not to bring up certain aspects of his character during roleplays, especially if the subject matter makes you uncomfortable. i’ll always be receptive to that! but i’m never gonna change his entire personality for a thread or write him doing something i can’t fathom. ESPECIALLY if i’m being pushed to do it to hasten romance development.

Age range: under 13 | 14–17 | 18–22 | 23–25 | 26–29 (oh my god i’m turning 27 in october) | 30+ | 40+ | 70+

Am I okay with NSFW?: yes | no | some nsfw (it really depends on my comfort levels with who i’m playing with. and generally, i prefer to keep it somewhat private, whether it be in dms or on a nsfw sideblog. this goes double when i’m playing a character from children’s media. definitely don’t want it popping up in tags if i can help it)
