#rambles #ff14 liveblogging #my last dungeon had: #1. a sprout tank who was new to the dungeon who consistently failed to notice mobs attacking me/the dps #who also ran around like a chicken with their head cut off rather than just..... staying in one spot #2. a SAM who apparently decided that staying in melee range is more important than dodging aoes #who also pulled the last boss by getting too close while our tank was still in a cutscene #3. a machinist who continuously stayed in melee range of the last boss #despite the fact that the boss does a point blank aoe with no telegraph #which they KNEW because they got HIT BY IT SEVERAL TIMES #but they just stayed there bc. why the fuck not i guess #not to mention the SAM eating tank cleaves for no reason #or all three of them just flat out ignoring a huge mechanic (standing in the crystal spots in dzemael darkhold) #and just eating 1k damage every ~10 seconds or so during a big trash pull #even though they clearly knew the mechanic bc they did it correctly on the boss?????? #and the next dungeon i'll have to run is aurum vale............... #kill me now tbh
