This bill is planning to make it harder for Illinois Residents (Especially us in the Black community) from obtaining the “unconstitutional” FOID card. Black Gun owners, if your state rep (House and/or Senate) are Black; you need to contact them and inform them how this bill will hurt our community! They need to understand the history of Black gun ownership in this country and how 2nd Amendment is essential to our survival. They need to understand that the 2nd Amendment is Pro-Black. The number of legal Black gun ownership has been on the raise since 2016 and we are still growing. The media and the politicians has taken noticed to this, and I believe that they are worried because we are discovering and growing our independence from the government (Disclaimer: the government is suppose to provide a service, not tell us how to live our lives). We need all hands on dock and we need to Come Out Fighting to preserve our birth right for peace and self-defense. We don’t want to be victims anymore... We refuse to become a victim to anyone!!! Our birth rights shouldn’t turn into a privilege IF we make a certain amount of money. The 2nd Amendment makes everyone equal (and that is a fact). C.O.F.
